Chapter 3 (Part 2)
Dreamtime
“Shukoi, what does strength mean to you?” shumi asked suddenly with a slightly pale face and a slight contradiction to Shukoi's statement.
Shukoi was a little surprised. “For me, strength is the energy that should be used to protect those who need to be protected, Miss,”.
Shumi seemed to have guessed what Shukoi's answer was. “If my dream is power, what does it mean that I have to protect people who need me?” shumi asked again looking at Shukoi.
“I don't know yet, Miss,” replied Shukoi, “dream that miss got has lasted three times since miss even turned 17 years old, yes?”
“Iya, Shukoi,” said Shumi, “my father said it's power, My mother said it's a gift, but why do they look so surprised who is more inclined to worry, not happiness.”
“In my opinion, Your Majesty and the Queen are only worried about you, Miss,” explained Shukoi, “with the presence of great power, means responsibility will follow, right? Whereas as you feel, Your Majesty's concern for you is quite more than you need.”
“Yes, I feel that way, but if I just keep quiet, it means I take that responsibility off, right?” shumi asked, “but indeed, I don't have enough strength to protect that person even though I know where he is.”
“I can't answer that, Miss. If judging from your dream story that you told me earlier, the magic that those people use is indeed deadly magic and I might not be able to handle it myself if the situation is the same as that of the murdered man, Miss,” Shukoi replied.
A few moments later, silence tried to snatch their conversation until the look of Shumi's face now more gradually re-emerged. He recalled a conversation that somehow made him better.
“Shukoi, does anyone else have powers like me?” shumi asked again, this time pursing her curiosity, “you are a former royal assassin special forces, your knowledge of things like this must be very broad right?”
Shukoi smiled. “You are indeed amazing, Miss!” abugn. Shumi was a little confused. “You always direct all events on the positive,” he explained.
“Yes, I don't want to be too late with fear, Shukoi. I can't just stand by what's happening to me, let alone other people,” Shumi explained.
While still smiling, Shukoi tried to answer Shumi's question, “I think, you include the Espers, or rather the Indigos. There are some stories of Espers who are quite famous in ancient times, even today I think there are some important figures of the world who have that ability, Miss.”
“Indigo? Esper?” ask Shumi again, “what's the difference? Never explained in science lessons, huh?”
“Sure miss, because this is still not interpreted in general and the characteristics are difficult to learn, will be different for each Esper and it includes the secret power of someone,” replied Shukoi, “the difference is, <TAG1>, indigo is something of an advantage that someone who has to do with this nature, for example like you, can know information that you should not know, but this is still my personal speculation, Miss.”
“Well, I also do not know exactly what the power of this dream means,” continued Shumi, “continue, Shukoi!”
“Good, Miss,” continued Shukoi, “ada also who can read the future, they are sometimes referred to as fortune tellers because there is no magic that can read the future, and so miss. One of the famous indigo of the past was Mustofa, his famous prophecy was about the splitting of world power into seven countries and it is evident today, when 500 years after his death. He has even written his names clearly in his book.”
“Iya, Miss. She is a red magician, but no magic can manipulate time in general like that, Miss,” Shukoi replied.
“Yes, indeed such magical things are difficult to distinguish, besides the book about divination he much is perverted. The original script until now no one knows, right?” shumi's comment again. Shukoi simply replied with a nod. “Then, for what kind of Esper?” ask Shumi again.
“Esper has abilities that can be transformed into physical form or reality, such as magic power above normal, the power of the mind that is able to control something, and so on. All I know, the one that Esper is famous for is His Highness the previous King, he has healing abilities, whereas he is an ordinary human who cannot healing magic, he said,” is obviously Shukoi and makes Shumi frown her forehead, “but, this ability is not a hereditary thing, as long as I learned, this power is a gift from Gods, this power is a gift from Gods, as conveyed Her Majesty Queen.”
“I just found out that Grandpa has that ability, Shukoi,”.
“Yes, as I said, Miss, that ability will never be revealed just like that because it can be a dangerous thing, especially to those witches. There is a belief that the power will always be stored in the suit of the owner even though he has died. Those who believe this will try to take that power on the dead man, or even kill him just for that matter. Although all that is not necessarily true,” explained Shukoi, “Maybe His Majesty has not just told you, Miss.”
“No, it seems like Dad told me a story before, but I might pay less attention to things like this. Dad used to say that grandfather has extraordinary abilities that make him one of the strongest knights and unite the entire kingdom of this earth from rebellion. It's called The Heaven Light, isn't it?” shumi said, “but, is it possible that this thing is decreasing to me but with a different power?”
“I can not answer it, Miss,” replied Shukoi, “this can be yes, can also not.”
“Looks like I have a lot to ask Dad later tonight,” said Shumi, “but Shukoi, can that power be taken for granted?”
“There is no evidence to suggest that the opinion is correct, Miss. It's just that when the late King died first, a lot of witches who want his suit. Therefore, why the tomb of the King is placed in this palace, in order to prevent bad things from happening,” explained Shukoi again, “ there are even some special forces who keep eating it.”
“If this is power, it means that I should be able to take advantage of it and continue to develop it, huh?” shumi said and slowly got up from her seat. Shukoi who saw that also stood up.
“But it seems, this should be discussed with your spiritual teacher, Miss,” suggested Shukoi.
“Iya, I will see Mother Montana this afternoon,” said Shumi began to spirit back, “I can not just be silent, although the longer this dream increasingly affects my psychology, the more, if I just keep quiet and even get scared, I won't deserve to be a successor to this kingdom.”
“Agreed, Miss,” Shukoi said as she leaned over slightly and folded her right hand over her shoulder.
“Thank you, Shukoi. I want you to keep me company today, help me find as much information as possible,” Shumi orders, “dad also did not say I have to keep this a secret right? At least Mother Montana is a royal confidant.”
“I will always be by your side, Miss!” answer Shukoi.
