Mahabbah Longs
CHAPTER 38: ULYA POV

Flashbacks

I remember Mr. Sofyan's words on the way to his office this morning.

"Son Ulya, I know you've been very close friends since. Even at the end of his life you accompanied him. What if you, I take a ghost."

I didn't think I'd get a punchline like that. From Naura's in-laws. Ah there-there is.

"What is Sofyan?"

"Want you to match with Rima, if Ulya has not?"

"Didn't Rima still want to continue her studies." I replied evasively.

Do I have to be frank. So that Mr. Sofyan does not hope.

"Yes?!"

"Actually before Andre dies message me the same, to keep Naura."

"really?"

" If we were a match, it would be happy."

I am glad that I was able to reveal the resolve of my heart.

Suddenly Sofyan's phone rings. He immediately lifted it.

"Assalamu'alaikum ..., Pa.?"

"Wa aleikum salam ..., what's the matter Ma?"

"Andre's wife, Pa."

"Yes, what's wrong with Naura?"

I wonder what they're talking about. Yeah, I eavesdrop on the speaker.

Ah, it turns out about Naura. Hope you good news. This morning, Naura looked very unwell.

"Calm, Ma. Take a breath .. just talked."

"That's Pa, Naura's pregnant."

"really. Masiah Allah ... Thank God, God."

"So she's fine, Ma."

"Assalamu'alaikum ...."

"Wa aleikum salam ...."

I saw Mr. Sofyan close his phone with a perfectly fluffy smile.

"Andre is a filial son. He left us grandchildren that I've long since waited for." Sofyan muttered to himself.

I smiled at the behavior of Mr. Sofyan who cheered happily like a child. One side I am happy about the presence of the little Andre that he entrusted to Naura. One side I realized my wait would be longer to be together.

"Ngapunten, Mr. Sofyan. Wonten's menopause?"

"Naura Pregnant. I'm a little grandchild soon."

"Good sir Sofyan."

"Oh yeah, give my regards to Naura's mother."

"God willing."

"One more time, persuade her mother that Naura may stay with me."

Selfish requests from opa candidates. But, it's also good sich ....

If you live with Farhan ma'am and Farhan sir, they are already old. Poor, even troublesome. Moreover, Naura is two-bodied. With a short marriage. Awesome you Ndre ....

I laughed at the current state of affairs that befell Naura. May you be strong Naura ....

To be the same, Sofyan, Mr. Farhan or Mr. Salim. I hope that wherever Naura is going to be okay.

Because I can't take it.

"I can't promise, sir. It depends on Naura."

"Yes?"

Why would Mr. Sofyan also urge me with such a statement and his gaze.

"Well, I'll try."

"Okay, I'll go down first,"

Sofyan got out of the car entering his office. While I continue my journey to Adi Sutjipto airport with Pak Doni.

Thank God, there is no need to wait too long.

The plane carrying Efsun's mistress arrived. From the waiting room I saw Madam Efsun's face seem to stiffen. Before long in a chair that is located apart from the others. He wiped his tears a few times. I approached him.

"Assalamu'alaikum .., Aunt."

"Wa 'alaikum salam .., ah you Ulya."

"Tante himself, Ahmad and Mr Salim are not coming?"

" My husband in Japan, Ahmad since yesterday had to replace his daddy met his clients."

"How's Naura?"

"He's kind. It's at Sofyan's house."

I paused for a moment to say. Waiting for Madame Efsun's cry.

"As her mother, I can't help but be sad. But I don't know Naura's waist. That's why I'm crying here."

"Ulya understands, Auntie. And there's one more news. Hope this is good for aunt."

"What is Ulya?"

"Tanter will soon be a grandmother."

"really. Without Andre."

"Yes." Yeah."

His tears flowed back. Several times he rubbed with the tissue he carried.

"Don't worry aunt, Ulya will try to take care of her. As long as Ulya can."

"Thank you, Ulya."

🔷

"Before Brother Ulya."

Naura went from her bed to the safe next to her dressing table, holding her cellphone and an infusion. I was sad, and I approached her.

"I help you."

I took the infusion from Nur's right hand. Following Nur. I wanted to ask, but I couldn't bear it.

After arriving in front of the safe, he crouched down. Opened hp. Pressing the numbers in it.Maybe it was the numbers that Andre had whispered before he died.

Not long after the safe was open. I don't understand why Nur smiled at the thing inside. Oh, apparently a small box of cardboard covered in a red flannel cloth. He took that thing. Then close the safe back.

"What is that, Naura?" my many.

Nur did not answer. He left me in a question mark. Back to bed with a smile.

"Open up, brother."

He handed the box to me. I'm stunned.

Then I put the infusion in its place. Curious, I opened the box.

"Naura, you're still keeping it." kind of surprised as well when I looked at the box.

Naura nags. Then my metatap became sad.

"I always kept it until Andre proposed to me. Mother forbade me to keep it, she gave it to Andre."

"Then?"

"I don't think I'll keep that thing anymore. I'm afraid to hope."

Frankly, I am happy to hear it. But I was sad to see her tears.

Her tears were dripping down her sad face. I want to remove it. But not yet .. not yet when I can express. Because you are still in the time of iddah. I respect that.

"Rest, it's not good for little Andre who's in your stomach. When you are sad."

I walked up to him and put the box on the table. Take a necklace with a heart pendant. Then put it on Naura. It looks the same when I put it on when he was a kid.

"Not crying. After all you are still brother. Now or later it stays the same."

"Thank you, Brother."

"You're not alone, Naura. Brother will be happy if you want to share your sorrow with brother."

That's all I can say to comfort him. I also took a small chair sitting on the side of Naura's bed.

"This is all I took. I'm afraid you're thinking things out. And on your fingers are too many rings."

I took the engagement ring. This is the same ring I gave you when we got engaged.

Naura glanced at my finger. Seen as though he was stunned, he kept looking as if he wanted to be sure.

I'm trying to understand what that means. I put this hand on the table. So that Nur could see more clearly.

"Sister, when did you get married?"

Ah .. apparently he was wrong.

And have forgotten me. He doesn't know at all, or pretends not to know. If this sneak is the engagement ring with her first.

"He .. he .. he .. he ...,"

How can I not laugh, hear that question.

"Why laugh, brother?"

"It's okay. Just who's the same. That's the problem."

The more I want to tease him.

"There is this brother of Ulya."

"But maybe, if you're the one who's looking for a sister."

"What kind of kayak?"

"Yes .. what it looks like. Brother there's no shadow."

If only I could reveal this moment. Then I'll say, it's just like you that you've been looking for all this time. But like I said. Not yet time ....

"Thank God, don't be cool. Lha wong I'm just what the old man said. No flair for fighting" he said cheerfully. Frankly, I was happy to see her smile.

"If Naura has given birth, will you say, the characteristics of the person you want in full. In the meantime let me be the dream decorator."

"So he said he didn't have one. Now I am a dream decorator. Idih ... The story Love in Silence, Nich."

"Not also .... If you want a title. More precisely 'Near Slowly'."

I saw him smiling, laughing at me. But let....

Because I will be patient again to reveal my true heart. And explain to her why I left her then.

I know, it's really hard to live this. 9 months must be passed without the assistance of a beloved husband. I want to always be there for him ....

I can only pray.

"Your sister Ulya daydreamed. Must be him."

"Nur Already. Brother go first. Rest up!"

"Yes." Yeah."

For a moment I looked at her, before I left along with Madame Efsun who entered out of nowhere.

"Son Ulya."

"Yes, Penta. Sorry."

"It's okay. Even aunt is very grateful."

I can only nod sadly. How could I possibly leave Naura in grief.

"Ulya down first, Auntie."

"Yes." Yeah."

While the mistress of Efsun accompanied Naura lying down with the infusion still hanging. I walked down the stairs reluctantly.

Rest first, little brother.
