Mahabbah Longs

Mahabbah Longs
CHAPTER 51: This Night

"Mama can't go, Devra doesn't want this just a dream like yesterday. As soon as Devra wakes up, mama's gone."

I saw Brother Ulya turn around and crouch down in front of Devra.

"Darling, my mom won't go. Let's go to the room!" said brother Ulya seduce. But it looks like Devra just doesn't want to believe it.

"No, I want to sleep if hugged by my mom" she said sulking.

"Would it be tonight, you sleep here."

I want to approve his request. But getting together with her family is what I want right now.

"I don't know."

Ulya can feel Naura's longing for her family. But he has no power to prevent his daughter's wishes.

"Devra, Papa just wants to take mama to Ahmad, there's a need."

"Mom can't go, mama should stay here?" Ulya looked at Naura once again.

Naura finally gave up. She immediately crouched down hugging the gentle Devra as well as stroking her hair.

"Good, Honey. Mama's here, you're up ."

She immediately pulled my hand towards her room even though with half-covered eyes.

Then he went to his bed without orders.

"Mama, hug Devra" he said.

"Good, sweetie."

He slept sweetly not letting go of his embrace. Poor to see it too. I let my hands be the pads. While my other hand was stroking her hair.

After a long time, he seems to be asleep. I try to pull my hand slowly. It feels bad too. I tried to lean on the head of the bed. Just releasing tired.

I think these eyes are hard to shut. Although I tried several times. Usually if tired will quickly fall asleep. But it's weird, I'm hard.

Maybe because this is not my home. So you have to adjust first. Even without the ac, I feel the air here is cold enough. Is this because it's late autumn.

For a long time I looked at the little girl who was sleeping near me. By occasionally stroking her curly hair.

Suddenly I was struck by an open door. It turned out that Brother Ulya was already standing in the middle of the door.

"Why?" greet brother Ulya.

"It's okay. Kak Ulya ngagetin Nur. "

"Can't sleep?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"Maybe you need to refresh your body first?"

"Looks."

"I'm not changing."

"Devra's done it all for you."

"really?"

"Open that cupboard!"

Lay me down. Want to take clothes in the place indicated by Brother Ulya.

"Ma, don't go." back Devra deliriously.

"No Honey. Mama just wants to go to the bathroom."whisper me while tipping her forehead.

Once it calms down, I immediately head to the cupboard that Brother Ulya has appointed.

"There's "mom'."

I didn't think this little girl was so considerate and wanted her mother to come. There are some clothes that are still wrapped neatly arranged there. It makes me stunned for a moment.

"Is this really for me?"

" Right." replied Brother Ulya briefly. Then stepped closer to me, who was still glued in front of the cupboard.

"Already wear this alone." proposed brother Ulya, who took a package of clothes that are similar to the one used by Devra today.

"Nich swirl, same Devra." I said.

"You're a good fit." said Brother Ulya as he glanced at his daughter.

I couldn't help but smile, knowing the way the little sleeping girl's mind was in front of me. That's how she misses her mom.

"Okay, where's the bathroom?"

"It's to the left, that's where it is."

"Thank you."

Finished from the bathroom, it felt like I was tempted to head in a different direction. Into a fairly large room. With bookshelves on one of its walls. And a piano on the other side. Could this be a private library?

I lit the light for a moment. I found one door on the other side. I wonder what's behind that door. I also walked towards that door.

When I opened, I found a balcony overlooking the garden behind the house.

For a moment I looked at the dark garden that was covered by the night. Just decoration - a garden light decoration that gives light. So that it can be seen even though it is faint.

I turned my gaze to the beautiful expanse of the sky by the evenly scattered stars. Bringing my thoughts to travel, about my hometown in Indonesia, which I have not left a day.

I guess, this is the same sky I met before.

Long I was fixated, while putting both hands on the chest, so that the cold was not more piercing.

"Naura, why are you here?" soft words, awakening the imagination of my longing in my hometown.

I smiled without looking at him. That must be Brother Ulya.

"Wear this. Not to get cold."

Without waiting for my answer, he walked up to me and put on a warm jacket and switter on both my shoulders.

"A little while" he said as he passed leaving me alone again.

I wear a sweater perfectly to protect from the cold air that comes down with the dew tonight.

She came back with two cups something I didn't know. Looks like a hot drink. Seen from the thin puff of smoke that came out of the drink.

"Let's drink chocolate first." invite him while putting 2 cups that turned out to contain chocolate.

He approached me, touching my shoulder with both hands.

"Yes. the brother who made it?"

He's nagging.

"I waited for you for a long time, but I didn't come." He opened the conversation, after we sat down on the chair, which was on the balcony.

"Thank God Devra wasn't looking for you."

"Come on, brother, I suddenly want to come here."

"You miss your family?"

"Yes" I answered briefly, enjoying a warm chocolate.

"That's your house."

He pointed at the house hidden within the lush leaves of tall trees.

"Really." I asked seriously.

I can't see the house exactly yet. Although not as grand as the house of sister Ulya, but the beauty I like.

Brother Ulya nodded with a smile.

"I think our neighbors next door, it turns out that our houses are turned back to each other."

"Because of that, your brother and I became familiar."

"Can't you?"

"Ahmad likes gardening. But the harvest must be Devra."

"Yes I can imagine."

"You want me to drive you through the front or through the back."

Strange question, it makes me laugh.

"Sister, there's-there's just. Yes ... up to Brother. "my answer is light.

Sister Ulya got up from her seat and stood up while holding this balcony railing. Several times he took a deep breath. Then murmured softly, but because the atmosphere tonight is so calm. Makes me hear it too.

"All about me I've told you, Naura. What is the verdict. I'm waiting."

I dare to approach him. And also try to express the old answer I kept.

"Sister. Forgive Nur who could not give an immediate answer. But God willing I accept brother as brother accepts me."

"Really, Nur."

"God willing."

"Thank you, O God." she cried.

He turned to look at me in the shade. Only his hands were on my shoulders.
