Maize Adventurer Softener

Maize Adventurer Softener
Chapter 25

Sari was at a height covered by a powerful energy circle that protected the two of them. Sari was curious about the face of the person who saved her. He looked towards the mysterious man. The moonlight that turned her back on the man's face made Sari unable to see it clearly.

"Who are you, why help me?"

The man rolled his eyes at Sari, he did not reply and continued to watch the three people from above. Sari relented and chose to pay attention to Atikah, Rey and Rara.

Atikah who approached where Sari had been hiding, surprised by the appearance of a large snake that walked slowly. "It's just a night animal, who did I think it was?"

"Relatedly? I can feel the energy, it's similar to Sari's." Rey said as she checked the surroundings. Looking for traces of Sari's remaining energy that might be left behind.

"Come? Hmm, you're right the energy is similar but ... where did he disappear?"

"Ra, are you sure no one's here?" Atikah asked Rara and was immediately answered with a nod of Rara's head.

"We better get going, Rara needs energy for her body tonight if she can't die." ask Rey to Atikah to leave the place.

The mysterious man and Sari were still watching the three from a height. Once it felt safe, the man brought Sari down and unlocked her energy protectors. Sari just recognized her rescue man.

"Pak Linga?"

"Shocked?"

"Not really, from the beginning I knew you weren't an ordinary person."

"Smart girl." said Mr. Lingga briefly.

"Actually who are they? Not that they're part of the father's team, why are they even like... betrayed?"

Mr. Lingga laughed, the word betrayal made him look foolish. "They are part dark creatures, devotees of the devil, devotees of power."

"Eh, how come the serem is so horrified? How can you take them as part of a team?!"

"I tested their loyalty by involving all three in the team. Actually I've been suspicious a long time, they're planning something behind my back."

"I still don't understand where you're talking."

Mr. Lingga looked at Sari and walked over to her. Her hand flicked Sari's hair and examined the scar that still seemed clear despite Sari trying to cover it up.

"They're putting poison in your body. Sooner or later, you'll change like them or become his puppet."

"Poisons? What's that supposed?"

Mr. Lingga stared intently at Sari, "The same poison that changed the woman."

"Don't you joke, sir, I swear this isn't funny?!" Sari tried to avoid information from Mr. Lingga.

"You think this is some kind of joke?" Mr. Lingga took it seriously.

Mr. Lingga took a deep breath, he began to tell me about the terrible woman who had attacked Sari.

"His name is Lita, she used to be a good girl. Gleeful, beautiful and energetic. She's the daughter of a plantation owner in an area far away from here." Mr. Lingga dug up his memories of a woman named Lita.

"Lita used to be pretty, really pretty. Anyone wants to be her lover but dear Lita loves the wrong person. He has suffered all his life up to now. In the middle of two worlds. The human race and the soft."

"Sir, Lita's a curious spirit?"

"Not so, he .. mortgaged his soul. Turned her into a bloodthirsty monstrous female figure. His human side had disappeared and was now turned into part of the darkness."

"For the sake of beauty and immortality he was willing to pawn his freedom as a human being to one of the vile creatures that live by blood." Mr. Lingga held a deep sense, disappointment clearly emanated from the look of his face despite being covered by the darkness of the night.

"He was turned into an animal without compassion. Being immortal was not pride but it was part of torture." Mr. Lingga closed his story. He refused to talk more about Lita.

"It's an interesting story but I can't believe it. Sorry."

Mr. Lingga looked back at Sari, "For now you certainly can not trust him Sar, but believe me the passage of time you will understand. And when the time comes you must choose to join them or with me to find an antidote to the poison in your body."

Sari still stared in disbelief at Mr. Lingga, what he heard was like a story in Korean drama films or maybe a Western horror story.

"We'll see how, sir, my brain still doesn't understand that? Feel entered in the world of films, cake vampires in the style of today." said Sari with a wry smile.

"Whatever, but remember my message! Don't get away from me, they can't match my strength."

"Well cool ..sakti dong! May learn?" tasteful Sari.

"You're not just any girl, are you? You have the strength even your four guards are amazing."

"Do you know my guard?"

Mr. Lingga just smiled, he then went away leaving Sari who was still dumbstruck in her place.

"Remember Sar, be careful with Rara?! He could attack her at any time!" Mr. Lingga told me before he disappeared into the darkness of the night.

What can I do, if Rara really becomes my enemy everything I have to end quickly!
