The two of them followed Doni who was busy taking pictures from the cattle pen of other residents.
"This is Kang's death too, how is this? It's not like last year, it's almost every house that's dead!" one of the villagers said in panic.
Kang Pur still had not reacted, he went back to check on the dead farm animals. All have the same features. Kang Pur sighed for a moment.
"So calm down, don't panic! Immediately ready the ritual of rejecting reinforcements to clean up our village!"
"Good Kang!" Some villagers then went to tell other residents to prepare the Sewu tumpeng ritual and clean ceremony of the village.
"If I didn't hear wrongly last year? Is it really Kang?" Doni asked while crouched next to Kang Pur taking pictures of dead farm animals.
"Yes mas Doni last year also had this but the number is not this much! Looks like I have to prepare more offerings."
"According to Kang Pur who did it?"
Kang Pur was speechless, he looked at the lifeless goat in front of him then replied heavily.
"Somewhere, I can't see it clearly. Another village device guess is likely a wild animal from the forest next door, according to the village elders .. they, the inhabitants of darkness."
"Dark dwellers? Meanin?" ask Doni curiously.
"Conion is said in the forest next door there is a kind of place whose inhabitants are .. jejadian creatures, at a certain time they come out and take their victims."
"It could be a big bat, sir, or it could be …"
Not yet Doni finished his words Kang Pur had cut, "No, they're damned people who like to suck blood. They allied themselves with the jinn and changed their human side."
Doni watched Kang Pur, his face looking tense.
"The pigeon of clay, if in my understanding Kang."
"Hottled?"
"Yes, he's the kind who likes to attack humans and suck his blood to the ground. Just why is this a farm animal? It's so out of the ordinary." Bagas.
"Some, just guessing. But as far as I know if they live in the forest can be sure it's a type of clay banaspati."
"Who knows other regions also call it Don." said Sari.
"It can be."
Sari looked at the cage for a bit, then glanced at the stalkers.
It could have been an animal, but with them here .. I'm sure they did!
Sari was still convinced by his opinion if the culprit was the Atikah plotters. Doni tries to contradict the opinions of Kang Pur and Sari.
"This incident is almost the same case in North Tapanuli, livestock are preyed upon and blood is also sucked out. But after investigation it turns out the culprit is a kind of weasel that size is much larger than the weasel in general."
"Hmm, it might be Doni mas but .. this incident must be repeated every year. We've been stalking and trying to find the truth but every time we've been staking out there we've had sirens. Tau-tau tomorrow morning our livestock is dead." explained Kang Pur.
"Don, did you see the hole in his neck? A ferret? Binturong's? Nonsense! That's for sure …"
"Cari!" Doni prevented Sari from continuing her words.
Sari realizes her emotions and then she goes silent, Bagas immediately pulls her away from Doni and Kang Pur. "Mending you in their opinion, let them guess according to their belief Sar?!"
"Yes, it's Gas, but .. It's not what they think it is!"
"Beb, calm ... Now gini, what proof are you if they did it? Video or eyewitness? Any?" ask Bagas streak.
"Yeah, nothing at all?" Disappointed sari.
"See, don't recite it recklessly even if they believe in a clinical thing but this is something they believe in from the forest next to so justin aja. Don't bother and try to change their trust."
Sari was silent, Bagas was right to respect the beliefs and customs of each region especially Sari and the others were just guests.
