Maize Adventurer Softener

Maize Adventurer Softener
Chapter 55

Sari left Lingga alone, he chose to walk for a moment to unwind the heavy burden on his mind. His ugly premonition of Saka was immediately dismissed. The fact that Lingga had known him for a long time made him try to believe that his premonition was wrong.

"Kalo Pak Lingga has known Saka for a long time, maybe he also knows who Saka is. But ... The shadow, why is it so clear?!" he muttered as he walked around the homestay.

Sari tried to recall the future greatness that she saw shortly after she spoke to Saka.

In that grandeur, Saka seemed to be involved in a great fight between Lingga and Airlangga. Saka held a silver dagger with a beautiful carving on its handle. The dagger was so beautiful but deadly. What makes Sari confused is that Saka actually threw the dagger at Lingga.

"If Saka was a friend why would she do it? What do I see is just an illusion?"

Sari still could not heed his premonition, the more he tried to believe about the good Saka the more he doubted it.

"Bi?!" call Sari to her guard.

"Yes Sar, what's calling me?" Bimasena quickly answered Sari's call, her master.

Since then the four Sari guards had indeed followed him, alert with full vigilance. They detected the presence of enemies around Sari. Dark forces stalk Sari and prepare to ambush her at any moment.

"Do you guys know who peeked at us at the Wringin Lawang temple?"

"Hhm, the dark servant of Sar. Part of the enemy." replied Bimasena.

"Who? Did you guys manage to beat him up?"

"We managed to beat him but .. not much information we got. He dodged every question we asked and chose to destroy his own body."

"A suicide? Wow, what an amazing devoted devotee! What information do we get?!" ask Sari seriously.

"They're waiting for the right moment to attack you Sar."

"Ehm, I know that too. Is there any other information?"

"Sengkayana swords, that's their main purpose."

"Yes, I also know .. You can't give me more important information! No wonder, yes I have to give you a list of questions first to find info! Cckk, not really fun how you work!" gerutu Sari was annoyed.

Bimasena could only smile in response to Sari's rant, their master was in a moody mood so it took extra patience to answer each question.

"Is there a problem?" ask Bimasena slowly.

"No! Just ... badmood?!"

"Why?"

"I saw something I shouldn't and it made me a little .. um, pissed!"

"May I know what it is?"

Sari looked at Bimasena, maybe for now only they could help her. Finally Sari told him everything, her unusual vision of the future and also her suspicions to Saka.

Bimasena listened to him well, trying to interpret Sari's premonition.

"Sar, the ability to see the future can be used as a handle. Your hunch is not wrong, Saka is indeed planning something."

"Lita? That half-demon woman, a big Linga fan?" Bimasena asked back.

Sari laughed when she heard Bimasena call Lita a fan of Lingga. "Khodam gaul you guys, you know the nickname of the fans!"

"I'm just following your style Sar" he replied with a smile.

"Lita .. I heard she was a lover of Lingga before, and for the sake of being with Lingga she sold her soul to Airlangga" said Sari.

"But I did not think how can Airlangga dapetin science so?" Sari continued her words.

"Destiny Sar, Airlangga has broken the line that became the barrier between humans and the soft nature. The evil force has chosen it in contrast to the Linga that is trying to resist."

"Continue to do with Saka what dong?" ask Sari who does not know if Saka loves Lita.

A complicated love formed between Airlangga, Lingga, Lita, and Saka.

Sari was about to say something when a reddish light shot right above her. The light was so bright that it made the sky seem like it was burning.

"What's that?!" Sari was surprised to feel the heat touching her skin.

"This aura ..." murmured Bimasena

"Sar, that's a sign! Let's go after it!" Bimasena immediately pulled Sari into the soft realm before Sari could answer.

Sari and Bimasena followed by the other three guards immediately followed the trail of light, all the way to somewhere.

"What is Bimasena?! I feel like I've felt it!"

"That's Sar's heirloom aura, you've come into contact with an aura similar to her. Did you forget?"

"Cakrabuana?"

"Right, the power is similar but it's a little different. It could be a clue where the sword is."

"Minak Jinggo's Sengkayana Sword? That fast he showed himself? Isn't that weird?" ask Sari skeptics.

"It's likely that only two, those traps or heirlooms do want to be found by you!"

Sari fell silent, she spread her gaze around. No sunlight illuminates, like a nighttime atmosphere with a thin fog enveloping every corner. Occasionally it seems flickering light from the presence of other creatures.

Sari suddenly saw the greatness of the shadow that also came running with her and the guards.

"Bimasena, what else is that? Are they friends?" the whisper is slow in Bimasena's ear.

"No, they're heirloom seekers too! Be careful Sar, don't be fooled because they will affect your mind!"

"Just kid! Dare to tease me, see what the consequences are!"

Sari makes a protective dome for herself, preventing from the cunning crimes of the other heirloom seekers who begin to intersect.

If only I had known finding the heirloom was this hard I would have paid double to those batteries!
