Marrying the Depression Master

Marrying the Depression Master
CH-108 Poem for Ara

Ara shut herself in the room, she was very disappointed in Jack. Why would Jack have to investigate her father's daughter or not, really pisses her off!

He said Jack loved him, but why would he equate himself with Arum? What does she look like with Arum? She is clearly the daughter of her parents. His mother's father loved him very much, Jack was so outrageous!

Jack instead of taking care of his job, he was looking for poetry for his wife.

“Pak Beni please help me find a suitable poem for my wife,” Jack said.

Mr. Beni looked surprised, why should he also look for poetry?

“I also don't understand poetry. For a moment I ask for help from people to give recommendations for good poetry,” said Mr. Beni.

“Yes it's up to you, anyway I ask for an example of his poem,” Jack said.

“What's the Master?” ask Mr. Beni.

“Poemission has a theme?” Jack was confused.

Mr. Beni nodded.

Jack looked for a moment.

“Then if I love him,” replied Jack.

“Alright, Sir,” said Mr. Beni, directly contacting someone via his mobile phone.

The night is getting late, Jack is still busy in his office. There was nothing that suited his heart, he was confused. She had already ordered flowers but her greeting card was not ready with her poem.

“Here is this one,” said Jack, finally choosing a poem that he thought was quite decent according to his heart. Somewhat hefty does not mean according to his heart, but rather than nothing.

After midnight, he left his study because he was sleepy.

As she opened the door of her room, Ara lay down, enveloping herself from foot to head. Jack could only stare at him, he could not approach him or his wife would leave the room.

Ara who all night felt sad and disappointed, could not close her eyes, she cried continuously behind her blanket until her eyes were swollen. She knows Jack is in the room, but she has no intention of taking off her blankets.

Heard there was movement next to him. Jack climbed onto the bed, staring at the rolled up blanket. Then his gaze turned to the table where there was a bottle of herbal medicine from his in-laws. He was supposed to be drinking the jamu tonight, but instead had a fight with his wife.

He couldn't possibly force his wife, it would complicate their relationship. Jack finally lay down, occasionally glancing at the covered body, wanting him to lie down to embrace the body. But rather than his wife getting angrier, it was better for him to be patient.

The night is getting late, when the dishoot from above, two people lie far apart. No one spoke, even though they hadn't really slept.

Sometimes Jack's heart was powerless to touch his wife, his hands stretched out, touched the edge of the blanket and then pulled again. He was very sorry to have asked Mr. Beni to investigate his identity Ara, if the result his wife would be angry like this.

Of course Ara would definitely be angry, doubtful as the biological daughter of her parents. Jack also doesn't understand why Ara's eyes have so much in common with Arum. It might be true, Ara said, that she was obsessed with Arum. His guilt seemed to expect Arum was still alive when fate said otherwise.

The next day…

Ara opened her eyes the atmosphere was dark, of course dark, as she slept by enveloping herself. Slowly Ara pulled the blanket over her face. It was noon, I can guess he always woke up late. He felt no movement behind him, meaning Jack was awake.

Arapun turned her body while opening her blanket, she immediately shouted in surprise when she found Jack sitting in a chair near the bed, sitting staring at her with a bouquet of flowers in his hand.

“Jack! You surprised me!” shouted Ara.

“You're up?” ask Jack.

Arapun woke up while opening the whole blanket, he sat staring at Jack, his face still bent. He saw that the man had taken a bath and was dressed neatly. She was supposed to take care of her husband early in the morning, but she's upset right now.

“You're not angry anymore right?” ask Jack.

Ara did not answer, looking away at the open window. He's still upset with Jack.

“This is a flower for you,” Jack said, giving the flower to Ara. But Ara did not accept it, she just kept quiet.

“You're still mad?” jack asked, seeing that the flowers were not accepted by Ara.

“I've made a poem in his cart, you see,” said Jack.

Ara looked at Jack.

“I'm mad at you! I don't want to receive flowers from you anymore,” said Ara.

Jack was silent, he felt confused, how else to make Ara not angry.

“Tell me how you can not be angry with me anymore? Last night I couldn't sleep, I thought of you, I felt guilty for hurting you,” Jack said.

Ara looked down at Jack's words.

“I don't know what gift can make you forgive me. I've only written poetry, do you want to hear?” jack said, then he got up from his duod, stood up while opening the card.

“You heard yes, I will read it,” said Jack, making Ara look up at the man. Will Jack read poetry?

Jack looked back at Ara. Ara turned her face away no matter what.

“Ehm! Hem!” Jack cleared his throat, making Ara glance at the man with the corner of her eyes. The man looked sweaty.

“Term for my wife!” Jack began to read the card with his firm voice, making Ara squint her eyes, the voice sounding unpleasant to hear, like he was yelling at people.

“Ehm!” Jack cleared his throat again.

Ara glanced back at him with the corner of her eyes. The man seemed to insist on reading a poem for her.

“When the morning sunshine shines on the earth!” jack said, still with his tone firmly making Ara grimace, how to read Jack's poem sounded like he was making a speech.

“When dew-dew sticks to the green foliage,” Jack continued.

Ara glanced again at the man, why so many times?

“Excellent morning sunshine, cool green foliage that is delicious in the eyes,” continued Jack.

Ara felt amused for a long time, the man actually read a poem that out of nowhere got those words. But he won't laugh, he's still mad at Jack.

Jack's voice read his poem.

“But when your smile disappears from my sight, all that beauty means nothing to me,”.

Hearing those words Ara started to hear him seriously.

“The sunshine feels dark, the beauty of the earth seems to disappear, if I can not see your smile,” continued Jack.

Ara was still listening.

“Your smile is the source of my happiness,” Jack said. He paused for a moment.

Ara was silent hearing all of that.

“Your smile is everything to me! Your smile is my life, your smile is my spirit! Keep smiling at me, so I can feel the warmth of the sun and the beauty of the earth,” continued Jack.

His voice is starting to slow.

“I love you, my wife,” said Jack, ending his poem.

Ara still silently lowered her head, even though Jack had finished reading his poem.

“Puition is done, isn't that good?” ask Jack.

Ara did not answer.

“I hope you will forgive me. I never had the slightest intention of hurting you,” Jack said.

Ara still did not reply, she just lowered her head.

Jack walked over, then sat down next to Ara.

“You will forgive me?” jack asked while giving the flower Ara's lap.

Ara looked at the flower, it was so beautiful, she did like the flowers Jack gave her.

“I really love you, Arasi Mayang,” Jack said.

Ara was stunned to hear Jack's words. This was the first time Jack had ever mentioned his name. There is haru in him. Ara just raised her face looking at Jack.

“I don't love Arum. I love Arasi Mayang,” continued Jack, staring at Ara.

“You will forgive me? I've read poetry for you,” Jack said again.

Ara looked at the flower in her lap that was still held by Jack. The man had already painstakingly made up a poem, not only that, he also wanted to recite it even though it was like an angry person.

Slowly Ara's hand reached out to pick up the flower in Jack's hand. Seeing him makes Jack feel good not playing. Smiling anywhere.

Ara turned to Jack and looked at him.

“I just want you to love me, really love me, not Arum,” Ara said as she shook her head.

“Yes I love you, not because you look like Arum, I really love you. Do I have to split my chest so you know my heart?” jack asked, touching his chest.

“You tacky Jack, it's not the age of those words,” said Ara, scowling.

Jack smiled at his wife's reaction.

“You will forgive me?” ask Jack.

Ara turned back and looked at Jack.

“I forgive you,” replied Ara, nodding. Makes Jack feel good.

“I'm glad to hear it, would you like to smile?” said Jack.

“What?” ask Ara confused.

“From night I did not see your smile, I want to see you smile at me,” replied Jack.

Hearing Jack's words, Arapun smiled, making Jack feel happy. His happiness was very simple, seeing his wife smile at him. The poem is true, for him the smile of his wife is the most beautiful sight on the face of this earth.

Jack's hand touched Ara's head and kissed her forehead.

“I love you,” he said, then pulled Ara's shoulder to lean on her shoulder.

“I'm tormented if you're mad at me,” said Jack, caressing Ara's hair.

Ara let Jack hold her, her left hand rubbed the flower in her hand and opened the greeting card in the flower and read it. He was immediately shocked and again sat up straight, reading again the writing on the card.

“Jack!” he looked at Jack.

“What?” ask Jack.

“This...you said there's poetry, how come there's no?” ask Ara, then read it.

“For my wife, keep your smile, I love you, your husband,” said Ara, then looked at Jack.

“So your poem is so long, why is it only kept your smile?” ask Ara, confused.

“Ya the point is that,” said Jack.

“Hemm, you lied to me,” complained Ara.

“No, I just summed it up, the card is small not enough to write a long one,” Jack said.

Ara looked at Jack.

“The contents of his poem are in my head, the poem is my heart,” continued Jack, staring back at his wife.

“Jack,” murmured Ara, feeling moved. His eyes immediately glazed over, he felt guilty already doubting his love for Jack.

“Sorry I doubt your love,” said Ara.

Jack did not reply, both his hands grabbed Ara's face and immediately kissed her. His forehead, his eyes, his nose, his lips did not escape Jack's kiss.

“Jack, I haven't had a shower!” ara shouted, she was confused why Jack likes to kiss her when she has not taken a shower?

Jack doesn't care if his wife hasn't had a bath. He was happy his wife was not angry with him anymore.
