Nothing has changed, though Ara knows Jack's chances are not depressed, she is still patient to take care of him. Wearing his clothes, accompanying him to eat, giving him medicine.
Is it enough just to test it shows that Jack is not depressed? Jack's every move is noticed by Ara right now. He realizes that Jack has changed.
When wearing clothes, Jack did not talk much as usual, the man did not protest anything he did, just silent like a doll, but his gaze was more focused when he saw anything.
Jack's eating habits are also very regular. Ara remembered the first time she ate with him in addition to eating quickly until the food fell, the portion of the meal was very excessive, such as people who did not eat for weeks. But no longer now, she was calmer while eating, also clean, Ara only occasionally smeared her lips of Jack who was exposed to food.
Until it is time to take medicine.
“Pak Beni, where is the cure Jack?” ask Ara.
“This Mistress!” said Mr. Beni, give the medicine box to Ara, then he moved his establishment near Jack.
Ara prepared the medicine while looking down, she glanced at Jack and Mr. Beni. Ara only realized that Beni sir would stand near Jack every time he took the medicine.
“This is Jack, drink it,” said Ara, offering the drug that Jack immediately took.
Then Ara deliberately nudged his dinner plate. Prayers! The plate falling onto the lanatu shocked everyone.
“Ouch! Mr. Beni can ask for help from the waiter!” yelled Ara, pretending to be shocked her clothes were dirty exposed to food.
Of course Beni was surprised, he immediately left Jack and called the housekeeper.
Being so busy, Ara's eyes glanced at what Jack was doing, the man was like taking medicine and then lowered his hand side by side. Ara had guessed for sure Jack put the medicine in his pants pocket.
It's clear everything, Jack was pretending to be depressed but kept his recovery from it a secret. Ara's heart was getting sadder because of it. He did not understand why Jack kept it a secret when all this time he loved Jack very much.
Maybe after Jack recovers, Jack realizes that Jack does not love him. Jack didn't have the same feelings as when Jack was depressed or perhaps regretting being married to him? Marrying a mediocre woman who is like the earth and sky compared to Jack's social status?
Remembering all that made Ara sad. Doesn't Jack know that he loves him so much and seeing Jack heal is his greatest wish? But Jack kept his recovery a secret.
Ara stood washing her hands in the sink as well as cleaning the stains on her clothes. She feels disappointed in Jack but Ara can't force her will if Jack realizes that he doesn't love her or may regret his marriage.
“Jack, I go to the room first, I have to change clothes,” Ara said to Jack and then turned to Mr. Beni.
“Pak Beni tolog help Jack,” says Ara again.
“Good, Mistress,” replied Mr. Beni.
Arapun immediately left the room. He could not bear to spill all his disappointments on Jack. It didn't feel like his tears kept dripping on his cheeks. He doesn't know Jack.
Many times the tears were wiped away on his cheeks, while changing his clothes. There was nothing he wanted to do anymore, he felt tired of all this. He doesn't understand what Jack has in mind. If you know like this, why would he follow Jack to Paris?
Jack is depressed which leads him to marry but Jack is cured Jack does not share his happiness with him. It shows he does not mean anything to Jack.
Moreover, little by little revealed, Jack is not a random man. What himself? Maybe Jack wasn't being honest because he realized he was marrying the wrong woman? Because he's not Jack's criterion?
Ara immediately went up to the bed, she just wanted to sleep, she wanted to get up so all this was a dream, not she did not want Jack to heal, she just wanted to get well, but he wants to get rid of the fact that Jack doesn't love him.
Ara lay on her side staring at the knickknacks on the table beside the bed.
It had been tens of minutes but Ara could not sleep at all, her sadness and disappointment made her unable to sleep.
Suddenly the sound of the door opening. Ara quickly closed her eyes pretending to be asleep.
Jack saw his wife lying down, smiling, he was happy to see her in his bedroom. Already accustomed to one bed with him, a few days of sleeping alone felt so lonely. Even though they never did anything in that bed.
Ara felt the creaking sound of the bed, it seemed like Jack was getting into bed, the more he wanted to sleep as well, but it was not. Ara felt warm in her body, it turned out Jack covered her. The man's hand touched his shoulder.
Suddenly a cell phone ringing. Ara frowned, it was not the sound of her phone, kept the voice of whose phone?
Ara felt back the creaking of the bed, it seemed like Jack was coming down. Then there was the sound of the feet moving away along with the loss of the ringing sound of the phone and the sound of the door being opened and closed again. Looks like Jack's getting a call outside the room. Since when did Jack have a cell phone? Yesterday just call Mr. Beni who called him!
Ara opened her eyes, obviously all, Jack was not depressed anymore, Jack was cured and Jack was not honest with him. It hurts so much to be treated like this.
Not long before the sound of the door being opened again, Ara sharpened her hearing, which was heard now not the sound of Jack's shoes, but a lighter voice and it turned out not to be one person but like several people.
“Do not be noisy, later Madam wakes up,” heard the voice of a woman in French.
Ara opened her eyes slightly, she peeked at the direction of the clothing room. The walk in closet door was slightly open. What are they doing? So curious, Ara woke up from her sleep and stepped her feet slowly towards the walk in closet.
He peeked through the open door, it turned out that two house servants were opening the locked end closet. Ara was shocked when she saw the clothes that were taken out of the closet. It was Jack's maiden outfit, visible from the model of the suit and the attributes attached to it. Apparently true, Jack is a general, the dress model is similar to the one on the internet used by General Jack Delmar.
The servants also took out a box that was somehow contained, probably an accesoris.
Ara's eyes just got sore. Why would Jack do all this? He had his servant take his service shirt secretly packed in a suitcase? Is Jack going to find a special place to change into his dinner clothes so he doesn't know it?
Seeing the women start packing, Ara went back to bed and pretended to sleep again. He doesn't understand why Jack did all this? Why should I take his clothes off secretly?
Not long after the sound of footsteps passed through his bed and the sound of doors opening and closing seemed to have left.
Ara opened her eyes again, she felt like a stranger in Jack's life, because Jack himself did not want to tell her who he really was.
Does Jack know he loves her so much? Doesn't Jack know that this behavior hurt him so much? Tears were dripping back on Ara's cheeks, but she was also trying to be calm and unemotional in addressing the matter.
The night is getting late but Jack does not appear to appear into the room, I don't know where the man. If Jack was still depressed, Ara might have looked for him and put him to sleep, but not now, Ara knew Jack was cured and didn't need his attention anymore.
He finally just lay down and tried to sleep.
****
There was the sound of the curtains opening.
Ara opened the matana, she was surprised it was already noon. He got up and sat on his bed.
Some women were opening the windows of her room.
One of them said it in French. Ara did not understand.
“Where is Mr Delmar?” ask Ara.
But the women did not answer, perhaps not understanding English or perhaps it was forbidden by Jack to speak to her.
They only spoke again in French and then came out of the room, along with someone who had just come and just stood at the open door.
“Pak Beni! Where's Jack?” asked Ara, her tone was a bit high, she was still annoyed by all this, but then Ara remembered having to act ordinary.
“I wake up, Jack is gone,” said Ara, while getting out of bed.
“Master has gone to therapy, Mistress,” replied Mr. Beni.
“Self?” ask Ara.
“Later I will pick him up, because Master assigned me to look after Madam,” replied Mr. Beni, still near the door and lowered his head.
“No need, I'm fine, you just go with Jack, or how about I catch up?” ask Ara.
He was already convinced Mr. Beni would ban.
“No need Madam, later Mr. therapy is interrupted,” said Mr. Beni.
“Alright then. I'll just wait at home, Beni sir don't have to take care of me. If Mr. Beni has anything to do, go ahead. I just want to relax at home,” Ara said, then step foot into the bathroom.
“Alright Madam, I will do another job,” said Mr. Beni, then close the door of the room.
Inside the bathroom, Ara continued to frown. Jack pretended therapy upset him, suddenly his eyes were on his clothes Jack was wearing last night in a basket. The dirty clothes had not been taken by the housekeeper.
Arapun approached the basket and took Jack's trousers. He reached into the pants pocket and pulled out something there, Jack's drugs.
Turns out Jack really didn't take the medicine last night, he put his pants in his pocket. Jack is no longer depressed.
And if Jack goes this early, where is he? Definitely not a place of therapy. Maybe Jack went to his office! Where's Jack's office? Ara thought to see Jack in his office, to make sure that General Jack Delmar was Jack Delmar her husband.
