CH-134 Jack's Heart Still Closed

Ever since Mrs Inez's arrival, Jack has not spoken much. When it comes to his family matters, the man is very secretive .

It's noon, Jack's still in his study. Ara knocked on the door a few times.

“Jack!” call Ara. The man did not answer just looking at her, making Ara go awry.

Ara walked over to her husband's desk. The man did not change his attitude, still leaned back in his chair and looked at him without a smile.

“Didn't you have a little smile for me?” lamented Ara.

Seeing Jack coming, Ara changed her sitting position to the side. Jack stopped his steps looking at his wife, sighed for a while then walked up to her and sat down beside Ara who was sitting on her side.

“Sorry, what did you want to say?” ask Jack.

Ara did not reply, only grinning.

“I can't go to work if you're angry like this,” Jack said, his hand hugging Ara's waist and sticking his chin to his wife's shoulder and kissing Ara's cheek.

“I'm sorry,” said Jack, staring at his newly kissed cheek.

Seeing Jack's attitude, Arapun understands that means Jack is not able to accept his mother anymore.

“Alright, I'm sorry, I won't have lunch with your mother, I'll turn her down,” replied Ara.

“I'm leaving,” said Jack, not talking about his mother anymore. He hugged her waist Ara, then kissed her lips, then he stood up.

As he stood there was an incoming phone that he immediately picked up the phone from his pocket. Jack walked over while receiving the call. Ara only heard a glimpse of Jack speaking French.

Whenever there was a guest or call in French his heart was immediately uncomfortable, thinking Jack would be called on duty and would temporarily leave him. If that happens maybe this is the first time he was left behind by Jak for a long time, whether it's a few days, maybe a week or maybe a month?

After Jack's departure, Ara picks up her cell phone and calls Ms.Inez, forcing her to refuse to have lunch with Jack's mother. He can't force Jack to forgive his mother. Too deep is Jack's heart wound, when he'll open his heart again to his mother.

Ara dialed her cell phone number Ny.Inez.

“I'm sorry, I can't go out,” Ara told Ms.Inez, as her mother-in-law picked up the phone.

“Did Jack not allow you?” ask Mrs.Inez.

“Sickness?” asked Mrs.Inez, surprised.

“Iya, a little, maybe just a cold,” replied Ara, looking for excuses, he did not want if Mrs.Inez knew Jack did not allow it and made Ms.Inez hurt.

“In wind?” asked Mrs Inez, a bit hard, making her husband who had been walking outside would enter the house again stop his steps.

“Are you pregnant?” ask Mrs.Inez.
