Why Is His Smile So Similar?

The sun was shining so bright that afternoon. Street dust mixed with vehicle pollution as if to complement the heat of the streets of the capital. Maura walked down the sidewalk, occasionally wiping off sweat with the back of her hand.

Today, there is a day schedule. And he chose to walk because he was lazy if he had to crammed into public transportation. After all, the distance of his residence and work place was not too far away.

By the time he stopped at a bus stop for shelter, his net accidentally saw a middle-aged man about to cross over. However, the man was busy with a cell phone in the ear. From the opposite direction to the middle-aged man, a motorcyclist was driving at high speed. No one around was aware of including the middle-aged man.

"Sir, watch out!" shouted Maura.

He immediately ran away as fast as he could, then pushed the man's body to avoid an accident. However, his body was slammed into the side of the road because it was hit by the motorcyclist.

The middle-aged man's eyes widened in surprise. He immediately turned off his phone call unilaterally, then ran to help the young woman who was his savior. Meanwhile, the Pemotor ran off the roast just like that without intending to stop the goods for a moment.

"How are you doing, son?" asked the man while helping Maura stand up to her position, then took her to sit on the bench of the stop located not far from her.

There was a soft hiss from the girl's mouth because her hands were so unbearable pain that her fingers were hard to move. He had made his hand as a buffer for his body.

"I'm okay, sir. I'm sorry I pushed you right away" Maura said in her pain.

"I am the one who apologized. Because of my carelessness you get hurt like this," he said feeling guilty.

''It's all right, sir. Just a small wound.'' Maura replied with a smile.

The man was stunned to see that.

''Why is her smile so similar," her inner self.

He stared intensely at the young girl in front of him. If you look at his face is very similar to someone when he was young. He did not want to origin conclude, it was possible that this woman was just similar.

There are seven people in this world who can be said to be similar to us. Whether it is fact or myth, there are even people who do not have blood ties though can look like twins.

''If you may know your name, son?''

"I'm Maura, sir," Maura replied with courtesy.

"My name is Bram. If you want to let me take responsibility for your injuries."

"It's just a small wound, sir. Incidentally, I work at the county hospital here. I can treat myself." Maura rejected the gentleman's offer.

"Then, please accept this as gratitude. I don't want to feel guilty or indebted to you." Bram slipped some money into Maura's hand.

"Eh, no need, sir. I'm sincere. You don't have to feel like that. Humans should help each other, right?"

''I just told you to be more careful again" continued Maura.

"alright. But please allow me to help you get to the hospital. It just so happens that my car is near here. I beg you for a time, please don't refuse my offer."

''All right, sir."

A few minutes later, a luxury car stopped right in front of them. Because before, Bram had contacted the driver to immediately go to the location of his whereabouts.

"Let's help."

Bram rubbed the girl's body into his car.

A woman who accidentally saw that was just looking cynically full of hatred.

"Cih, you cheap girl.''

...----------------...

The girl went out to find lunch. Mira does have a different schedule to Maura. She still carries out her duties as a nurse, in addition to being Maura's assistant

The woman immediately took over Maura's hand, then draped it onto her shoulder. He immediately charged the girl towards a room that read ER.

"See, I'll get the doctors to get some medicine."

Not long after, Mira came with wide strides with a male doctor. In his hand was carrying a box of equipment and medicine.

The doctor began to examine the girl. Starting from the pulse to taking X-rays to determine whether there is a broken bone or not.

After waiting for some time, the doctor returned with the results.

"How did it go, Doc?" ask Bram.

"There's a crack in the hand bone. For a while, Doctor Maura was expected not to move too much first. Just a light crack so, I attach a cast and a slim arm. The rest, there's nothing to worry about. Doctor Maura must rest completely."

"What needs to be treated, Doc?'' ask Bram again.

For some reason, he felt very worried about the state of this girl. There was a strange feeling seeping into his heart, the same uneasiness he had when he lost someone decades ago.

'''It's not necessary, Doc. I'm outpatient only," Maura replied quickly.

"Why did it get like this, Mother? What's the fall?" Mira repeated her question because she did not get an answer from her friend.

"He was hurt for saving me." A person's baritone voice diverted the girl's attention.

''Who are you?"

''I'm Bram. I brought him here to take responsibility."

Mira just nodded while continuing her activities installing her hand tools.

''Slow down, Mir," Maura said.

"Hold, Ma'am. It's over soon."

"Are you sure you want to rest at home?"

Maura nodded confidently.

"But on condition that you can't do anything. Ma'am has to rest" Mira scolds like a mother who nags her child.

"Let's get a permit for mbak. Let the surgery schedule be switched to Dr. Erwin."

Maura nodded in agreement. Unable to deny his hands began to feel pained.

''Allow me to drive you home, '' said Bram.

"No need, sir. I can order a taxi online. Afraid to trouble you."

"Not at all. I happen to be relaxed. Please, don't reject my offer.''

"Yes, Mother. Better to go home with Bram alone." Mira chimed, I picked my best friend yes, sir. We lived in an apartment on Jalan Kenanga" Mira said.

''I'm willing to drive him."

By force, Maura agreed to the offer even though she felt uncomfortable. Because this man always stared intensely at her. But Maura always tries to think positively.
