Misunderstand

''Ouch, Maura. Pikun Basic. How could I forget." Maura patted her own forehead cursing her carelessness.

''Surely Emran heard all the talk earlier," he said while biting his lower lip.

He was still glued to the screen that read

'Call ends 02:39:05.'

''I have to explain to him, let's not misunderstand."

The woman called the same number. However, nil only ends with the voice of the operator notifying if the owner of the number cannot be contacted.

''Ok, why else isn't it active."

The woman's mind was completely chaotic. He could not think clearly, there was only endless uneasiness.

''Yes, I have to see him. I have to get there before I go home."

Maura immediately picked up her bag, then left the room in a hurry, even forgetting her duty.

...----------------...

''There are former employees visiting" one woman said as Maura reached her destination lobby.

He ignored the innuendo, choosing to rush to the destination. All he had in mind was wanting to see Emran immediately.

''Do you want to come here?"

Divia blocked Maura's arm as the woman flashed before her.

''I have no business with you, Dear Lady Divia," Maura replied with emphasis.

Maybe, if he used to be scared but not for now. He would fight as long as he could so that this arrogant woman would not underestimate him.

''This is my hospital. I have the right to forbid and allow anyone to enter this place." The middle-aged woman looked at the cynical young lady in front of her.

''And I forbid you to enter this hospital for no apparent reason" he continued.

''My goal is very clear, ma'am. I'd like to meet my cousin Doctor Rayyan who works at Poly Obstetrics. Is it unclear, Madam?"

Slowly, Divia took off her hand, then let Maura just leave from before her. The woman put her sunglasses back on, then walked full of hubris towards the car that was ready to wait for her arrival.

''Huft, fortunately I immediately found the right reason," he murmured with a sigh of relief.

Arriving at the intersection of the passageway, he glanced towards the back to make sure no one saw him. Once he felt safe, he immediately turned in the opposite direction to the place he mentioned earlier.

''Em ... Ran."

The woman pecked when she entered the room of her beloved man. The phone that was destroyed by hitting the wall seemed to welcome his arrival. It turned out that his guess was right, this man had already heard everything. And now he misunderstood.

''Em, i-''

"Stop there." Emran's cold voice stopped his steps.

''Um, everything is not what you think it is. You-''

''Out! I don't want to hear anything from your mouth."

''No! Before I explain everything." The woman still insisted.

''Why do you bother coming to me just to explain everything. We have nothing to do. You should have, you let it go."

Maura stared in disbelief at the man before her. Why did this man behave like this to her. Because a misunderstanding has changed everything.

''But, Em-''

''Go to the cheap lady!" it was full of anger.

Throw away the tears that Maura had been holding back. He did not expect, Emran would say that harshly to him. His heart ached hearing the insults that Divia had once pinned on him. And now, he also heard directly from the man's mouth.

Maura immediately removed the rough remaining clear crystals that flooded her cheeks. Her tears were too precious to cry for this man.

''Okay, I'm following your wishes. After this, don't you ever look for this cheap woman again.''

Maura chuckled cynically while on the doorstep. "I thought you were different from your mother. It turns out that mother and son are the same. I'm sorry I put my hope in you."

''Excuse me, dear Mr. Emran Khan" he said before disappearing behind the door.

''You take it easy, Maura. I'll come with my fiancee as you wish."

...----------------...

''Stupid, Maura, stupid! Why do you keep crying over that guy. He doesn't deserve you." Maura cursed at her who had been unable to stop her tears.

She had already rubbed her eyes so violently that her beautiful eyes turned red. I hope her tears stop. But still, it is getting bigger.

''Stop, Ra! Your eyes can bleed." A burly hand stopped Maura's hand from repeating her actions.

''Andrian."

''How do you know I'm here?" ask the woman who can't cover her surprise.

''Remove this." Andrian offered his handkerchief.

''Thank you," said Maura, receiving the black handkerchief.

''You haven't answered my question. How did you get here?"

''I'm following you. Sorry....''

''Without purpose I saw you leave the room in a hurry. I'm afraid that something might happen to you" the man continued.

''It's okay, I'am fine. You don't have to worry. Proved I'm still intact." Maura joked with her miserable voice.

''R...."

Maura gasped as Andrian boldly clasped his fingers gently.

''Thank you all your heart. I promise, I won't make you sad like this. My family is not like that man's family. I'll give you so much happiness that you forget the pain you once received."

"I love you Maura Princess."

Maura stared fixedly at the man who was gathered in front of her. His eyes were so sincere. Should, she accepted this man even though in her heart was still engraved the name of another man.

''Give me some time. I'll try to return your feelings.''

''Even then, I'll wait, Ra."

''Thank you very much."

''It's getting late, it's getting dark soon. Yuk, I'll take you home."

Andrian reached out his hand, then was greeted warmly by the woman's hand. They join together like a pair of lovers who are drunk with romance.

''Mama's right, you are indeed a cheap woman," muttered a man who had noticed their interaction earlier.
