Memoria: Searching for My Memories in the Game!
Chapter 6: “The troublemaker"

^^^“Why? You suddenly interested in me?”^^^

The ripples of the water made Myra turn her gaze at the source of the water to cause it to move. A small-sized car that may only have one step will die is drifting here and there after it seemed to drink the water.

“Life or death. Take him and get his reward.”

Although what he saw was a pool of water in front of him, his eyes looked empty, it felt very far away to regain his full consciousness. Except with—

“Oi, Myra.”

The two hands that landed on both of Myra's shoulders resuscitated her from the daydream. Myra's heart rate was felt by Elliot and Davis faster than ever before. This is a common thing in this game. Feel the heartbeat of a party. Mob or enemy can feel it too, but this is certainly limited. Because if the whole thing can be felt, guaranteed in one city it can make players upset because all the heartbeats of people can be felt at the same time.

“Can you stop doing that?”

“Do what?”

“Suddenly appeared and confused me!” Myra replied with one hand rubbing her chest, trying to calm herself down.

Davis leaned against one of the pedestals of his home, while Elliot followed Myra, who supported him with elbows on the balcony railing of Davis' house. The water that usually looks blue during the day now looks pitch black, occasionally rippling because of the mobs of flies that still roam around here and there. It was realized by Davis and he also said, “Fucking insects. I have to immediately buy pesticides, it's been a long time I didn't really go home.”

Takda who responded, Myra's face was still petrified just as at the beginning when Davis and Elliot came. Davis glanced at Elliot who stared at him for a moment before finally looking at the water ripples before him with Myra. It felt that the silence made the three players very calm, although one looked so bored that he also supported his chin on the balcony fence and said, “Oi, it was just a stupid quest. Why are you thinking about it to the extent?”

Myra now furrowed her brows, looking to think hard.

Instead of Myra answering, Elliot responded by asking, “So she is real? The Red Shadow?”

“No. He's just a character I made up to scare the debtors. You know for yourself, rumors are easy to spread here. Fooling them was too easy when the rumors were already circulating,” Davis replied in a lazy tone, his face slightly raised due to the chin propping up on his hand.

Elliot tilted his head slightly, “Lah, then Myra? I thought you were Red Shadow?”

A faint smile appeared in Myra's mouth as she replied, “What makes you think that? You don't remember the bear this morning? I can't even fight the mini boss.” He rubbed the side of his neck, now his daydream was slightly broken.

“But..” Elliot pointed his eyes when Myra and Davis glanced at him, “Your eyes are ruby red as in the story. You know that color can't be found anywhere in this game, right?”

The question that was thrown made the owner of ruby eyes slightly lowered. Slowly the girl took her eyes off Elliot and looked at Davis. The one being stared at was silent, but seemed to be reading Myra's mind just by looking into her eyes.

“Alright,” Davis steps towards the entrance while stretching her body, “I think today is enough. Too much we do, I have to shower and sleep fast, tomorrow there is an event I have to follow.”

Myra sighed, as she was hoping for Davis too much help when Elliot's question came up. He followed Davis but stopped when the blonde man behind him called his name.

The summoned girl hesitated a little to turn around, she decided to just glance to the right where Elliot was but not directly look at his face,

“There are many things I want to ask.”

Myra gulped and replied, “Tomorrow again, this is too late—“

“Your idea was gone, why could it be?”

The question left Myra petrified on the spot, before she finally ventured to stare at her interlocutor by turning her body. “What do you mean?” Myra's answer sounded neutral, even Elliot felt strange because Myra's facial expression looked very calm, in contrast to the whole day he saw Myra was very expressive.

Elliot took one step forward, “You know, that hat only manipulates memories by adding to the wrong memories, not erasing them completely. No memory of me was lost when I wore it, but I was exposed to the full shadow of the rapist. Then what exactly happened to you?”

Although Myra looks calm, Davis from inside the house sees Myra's fingers behind her body playing her red scrunchie. Sometimes he holds it very tightly. But Davis leaned only on his soft sofa, quietly listening to the conversation of his two party friends.

“How will you handle it this time, Lav?” His whisper was slow to himself.

Myra propped up her left hand on her waist while smiling, “Wah, look at this. You're the one who's been quiet in the morning so much now, so talk a lot? Wh why? You suddenly interested in me? Hm?” He brought his face closer to Elliot with a smile that was now full of ignorance.

“Stop diverting the conversation,” Elliot combed his hair back in frustration, looking back at Myra with his eyes that now finally showed an expression Myra had never seen before. “Uuuh, are you angry?” Myra covered her mouth with her hand, teasing her while laughing. Now the initially tense surrounding situation began to fade.

“Myra. I'm serious,” the two eyes that are now seen pleading it makes Myra's feeling to judge him further more turbulent.

“OK, I'm serious,” Myra is now standing upright with both hands in the back, resting position in place. But that position was lost when he laughed.

“Ahaha, I still do not understand, I think you are too serious about this,” Myra rubbed the tip of her eyes, wipe away the tears of laughter that she released earlier which was actually not real. “It's just a game, you know? Don't think about it too much, okay?” Myra slowly moved away from Elliot by descending the stairs while waving her hands. “I'm home yes. Bye-bye.”

And from there Myra disappeared, leaving Elliot who was still standing still with the question still unanswered.

...****************...

“...and that's why I think I should go back to buying the stock, because it looks like in the future I will die more often.”

Myra with half body position lying on the bed and thighs to the tip of the foot attached to the wall was still awake in the middle of the night. His panel opened and floated in front of him, visible voice recording that had been recorded for about 30 minutes was underway.

“...hee, but I think that's what I've been saying a lot. I guess I should stop thinking about it and— aaaaa! 30 minutes?! Davis warned me to talk only the important things! I'm insane! I'll stop now okay? Bye!”

With one click, the panel stopped recording and stopped at 30:20. Myra rubbed her face in frustration, “Agh, I think I should re-record. 30 minutes is outrageous isn't it?”

Myra stretched her body and looked at the ceiling, winking a few times before saying, "Foolish time. It's been a long time since he's checked."

Davis's annoyed face as he opened his purple shadow fire was overshadowed by Myra. Now Myra turned around with her stomach attached to her bed. Myra held up her chin with both hands. He growled a little, his eyes closed tightly when he imagined Davis flicking his forehead so hard this morning.

She ruffled her hair and dropped her face on the bed, "Agh! Fuck, I don't care!" If anyone tries to hear it, they won't understand what he's saying. His entire face was drowned in the bed, as was his voice.

He again propped up his chin, looking at the menu consisting of a list of voice recordings that counted dozens there. Almost all touching a dozen or most large is 20 minutes. But this time the 30-minute record beat the previous one, but Myra did not look happy about it.

The panel closed when Myra turned her body again and was now lying on her back. He looked back at the ceiling while remembering what had happened today. Too many things happened that it felt like Myra could not load all the information into her head. The last thing that popped into his mind was the street light that shot towards the frustrated blonde-headed man asking for an answer this afternoon.

"If you knew. I was looking for the answer, too" he said slowly as his eyes slowly closed until he finally fell asleep without a pillow propping up his head.

...****************...

Myra wiped her wet hands after washing the dishes in the sink, glanced back, looking at a man whose face was not clear.

"I? I want to learn a lot of things! Starting from cooking, painting, and going to the seka... seka... what did you say yesterday?"

He heard the man laughing as he replied, "School." The laughter sounded very familiar, making Myra feel happy and laugh with it.

It felt like things were getting warmer. The sunlight coming in through the windows and the sound of birds singing in the morning made Myra's mood even happier. His smile broke when he said, "Right! The school!"

Tok tok tok tok

The sound of knocking on the door caught the attention of the two. But Myra just fell silent. Slowly the surroundings became a dark ash color when the knock on the door for the second time was heard echoing into the room.

Myra finally opened her eyes with a breath. He looked around, found himself in his room. He rubbed his face and stopped when he heard three more beats. At first he raised his head towards the door, but after being heard again it turned out that the source of the sound came from the window. And it turned out to be true, someone in a black hood was there, tapping on the window glass. Myra suddenly woke up with a sharp look of eyes staring at the person. The person pointed at the watch he was wearing though it was not clearly visible to Myra, but it seemed that Myra understood and only nodded twice before the stranger finally disappeared from Myra's sight.

...****************...

"How much do you have?"

Myra, who now wears a red hood, tries to communicate with the person who knocked on her window. Now they were both standing in a narrow alley not far from where Myra had fallen asleep earlier. There's no one who can find them both. But even so, wherever they are, not many people pass by, considering that this time is past midnight.

"As usual," said the black hood as he slightly stepped to the side to reveal two light-brown chests behind him.

Myra opened the floating panel and said, "I took it all."

...****************...

Myra stretched her body as she exited the door of her room. The atmosphere of the inn at that time was very crowded as usual because the day was almost touching the daytime. When Myra turned around and was about to lock the room, the sound of the door slamming made her whole body jump and she dropped her room key.

"I don't want to know! Pay this afternoon or this inn!"

The loud voice of a man and the large footsteps that stepped out of the room whose door was slammed open earlier stole the attention of almost everyone in the inn. But it only made Myra yawn and rub her eyes. He glanced at the dropped key earlier and leaned over to pick it up, only to find it being stepped on by someone when his hand almost grabbed the key.

"It looks like someone dropped the precious key" said the person who stepped on the key. Myra who was still bowing sighed, then she again stood up straight to find the innkeeper's mother standing there with both hands around her waist.

"Oh, and I think someone stepped on that precious key," Myra threw a forced smile. The mother stepped on the key with full force until a 'crack' sound was heard, then said, "3 months. 3 months you still have this precious key but you don't pay a single penny."

The mother also made a forced smile, following what Myra did. It made her smile disappear along with her gulping. Now Myra rubbed the side of her neck and laughed. "Ahaha, about that. Uh. I'll pay for it. Just chill. But not now."

The answer made the mother blow the whistle she produced from her two fingers that she put together, then the two little children suddenly appeared behind her. "Kids, did you see uncle below?"

Myra knew the mother asked the children, but she was also curious and glanced at the person in question. That guy is huge. Even the clothes he was wearing did not adequately cover his muscles.

"The uncle will be staying in room 202 starting today. Bring her luggage" said the mother before walking away and Myra chased after her.

"H-hey! You didn't mean it, did you, Mom? I still live there and—"

"If you still want to live there, pay." The mother turned around and opened her palm in front of Myra, but Myra just kept her mouth shut. "Well then. You have two minutes to tidy up your things."

"But ak—"

"No buts. I know you're spending your money on bad things. That's why you've lived here so long. Don't you miss your mother's father? When was the last time you logged out?"

Myra bit her tongue, her face turned sour. "Go before I report to the security guard."

"Oh yeah? Report it to security! I will also report you for enslaving the children here to work!"

Of course it didn't come out of Myra's mouth. It could be Myra's tongue that he bit broke because it held the desire of the sentence out of his mouth. But he can't. If security takes him and interviews him, it will be very troublesome.

"Wait what else?"

That one sentence made Myra turn around and rush back to her room. Although in his heart he cursed and his breath was not because of annoyance.

When Myra opened her bedroom door, she found two additional boxes of storage. He just realized that the storage he has now is very much.

"Oh, that's great.”

...****************...

“And this is your room, sir. I hope you can stay here.”

The innkeeper's mother opened the door to room 202, but it did not open. The friendly smile on his face instantly disappeared when it happened. Time and time again the mother tried to open the door but the result was nil. Until suddenly the water came out from under the door and shocked the mother and prospective owner of the room.

A black flame shadow shot out from the palm of the mother's hand as she took out a slash to smash the door. When the door that was not shaped like the door was open, he entered and found a messy room with a bed that was not because of its shape, toilet paper scattered everywhere.

Slowly his gaze shifted to the water source, the toilet. The toilet door was opened and toilet paper was found piled up inside the toilet. There is a yellow stick note with a note, “Memories from me!” with a signature underneath that resembles the word Myra with “XOXO” next to that signature.

“MYRAAAAAAA!”

Myra laughed cheerfully when she heard that voice that was getting smaller and almost disappeared as she ran further and further away from the inn. Still with his little bitterness, he looked back, ascertaining whether anyone was chasing him or not.

But he hit someone, dropped himself and the storage boxes he was carrying.

“Ah, shit.”

He opened his eyes, trying to look at the person he had hit earlier. Blonde hair and blue eyes glared at him with a stone face.

“Wah, what a coincidence.”
