Eps. 41 Red Eyes

A few days after the incident passed Orion so often use the power of his flying but only when he was with Ariel. He does not yet know the true identity of himself who is a descendant of vampires. Because neither his mother nor Ariel had ever discussed the matter with him.

Princess Zoya accidentally does not tell the identity of her daughter who incidentally is a descendant of vampires. Because for him the child is not yet the time to know his true identity. He intends at the right time to reveal their true identity to Orion.

For now he wants his daughter to grow up as a human until the time comes. He also treated Orion as a common human being.

The princess did not know much about Orion's different stages of growth with amulet growth because the child was a mixed offspring.

A descendant of the amulet had shown his vampire powers since he was a child, but was different from Orion. All this time he observed his daughter had not shown any signs of strength. And he thought it might be different for Orion, because the child was special so his development was even more special than amulet or anubis.

One cold night, Orion awoke from his sleep in the middle of the night.

“Tick... tick...” the sound of the clock seconds that sounded so loud in Orion's ear and made him wake up because of that noise.

The girl pulled the blanket that covered her body then sat down and stared at the quiet-looking surroundings. He saw his mother next to him still asleep. Then switch to staring at the wall clock in the room that shows at 24:00.

He got out of bed and walked to the window. He felt his sleepiness gone. The boy stood by the window and opened the window curtain. At that moment in the sky the moon seemed full. For some reason suddenly the boy was hypnotized to keep staring at the full moon at that time which he thought looked very beautiful that night.

As Orion looked at the full moon he also heard the sound of the howl of the unpretentious wolf. But now he was no longer afraid to hear the howling of the beast. Because he already knew that it was not the original wolf sound but the voice of the Ariel family that turned into a werewolf on the night of the full moon.

The longer the child looked at the full moon the more he felt like there was a flow of energy entering his body. His cold body was now starting to feel slightly warm with energy that began to flow throughout the bloodstream in his body.

The boy looked at his hands that looked radiant under the reflection of the moonlight and looked glittering. A moment later he suddenly felt his eyes become hot for no reason.

The hotter the longer he got, the more curious he wanted to see what was really happening to his eyes. Orion closed the window curtain that was in the other side and walked to a large mirror in the room.

“What is this.. ?”

The boy saw himself differently in the mirror. He saw his eyes turn from brown to red.

“Ah... my eyes... what happened to my eyes ?” the question is confused while touching his eyelids who think if his red eyes are due to irritation or maybe inflammation of the eye.

He then walked to the table where his mother put the drugs there. He opened a drawer and found the eye drops he was looking for and immediately dripped the eye drops on his eyes that still felt sore.

A moment later the pain in his eyes had disappeared and he walked back to the large mirror in the room to look back at the state of his eyes. But he was still shocked when he saw that his eyes were still as red as before.

“Aah.... What is this... What really happened to my eyes ? why is it still red even though I've been dripping with eye drops?” her puzzled tan as her eyes had yet to return to their original color.

“Do I ask mother only..” muttered the child then walked to bed.

“Mother.... wake up... My eyes hurt..” she said woke her mother. But Princess Zoya did not hear his call and still slept soundly.

“Maybe mother exhausted... what should I do then ?”

After entering the bathroom the child immediately took water and put it in his face. He then looked at his face from the mirror in the bathroom and found that his eyes were still red and had not changed.

“Do I have to wash it again? Maybe my eyes can return to normal like before.” he said back to take water and wash it in his face.

The boy washed the water on his face again and repeated several times until his face and eyes were not hot.

A few moments later after repeatedly washing his face with water he returned to glass and saw his reddened eyes had faded a little.

“Ah... means I have to wash my face again..”ucap the child again wash his face with water.

An hour later he came out of the bathroom tired of repeatedly washing his face with water. He looked back in the mirror in the room near the bed and saw the color of his eyes that had faded even though it still looked slightly red.

He sat on the bed and looked at his mother who was still asleep. He pulled out a blanket to cover his body which was now starting to feel cold again. A few minutes later after he smelled the scent of a pillow that used to sleep, he finally fell asleep again.

In the morning Princess Zoya wakes up, seeing Orion still sleeping.

“Not usually he wakes up.” Princess Zoya gets off the bed and pulls the blanket that covers Orion's body.

“Honey... wake up... it's almost too late. Didn't you go to school?” tanyanya patted her daughter's shoulder gently.

Orion opened his eyes hearing his mother's call and immediately sat down. He remembered last night his eyes were sore and red.

“Ah....my eyes...” he said while touching both eyes even though he no longer felt pain in both eyes.

Princess Zoya who looked anxious listening to her daughter's words immediately opened Orion's hand to look into the boy's eyes.

The princess saw that the boy's eyes were all right and normal as usual. No inflammation or flushing.

“Mother look at your eyes not hurting. Do you feel pain in your eyes ?” she still looked worried.

Orion did not believe his mother's words just now. He got up from the bed and walked quickly towards the mirror. How surprised he was when he saw his eyes that had returned brown as before.

“Ah... thank God that my eyes have returned as usual.” murmured while reflecting.

Princess Zoya follows Orion to the mirror as she is still worried about the child.

“Mother...My eyes have healed.” he said with a smile then immediately prepare to leave for school.

Princess Zoya is confused when does the child have eye pain ? Last night, the boy was fine. Then he immediately went into the kitchen and did not think about Orion's words because he had to prepare breakfast for his daughter before leaving for school.
