Eps. 72 Safe Conditions

Today was the third auction day and was the last auction day. The day saw more visitors than the day before. And the event this time looks more crowded than the previous two days.

Today Orion again saw the auction event together with Ariel. The two of them walked towards the audience area. As he walked, Orion felt that many strangers he had not seen in the previous day had passed by. Because he was still afraid and thought if there was still an amulet spying on him, he also gripped Ariel's arm firmly.

“Ariel... who is that man.. Why did he keep seeing me from before?” orion whispered softly as he glanced at the man wearing the hat and glasses who walked past him.

Ariel looked at the man Orion was talking about and smiled instead as she looked at the man.

“You don't have to worry. He is not an amulet in disguise but he is a werewolf from the northern region.” he explained to the girl and continued to walk calmly.

The two of them finally arrived at the audience area. This time they chose the back seat. Orion deliberately chose the back seat because he did not want anyone else to watch over him like before.

As he sat back down he saw that there were some suspicious-looking strangers sitting a bit far away next to him and watching him. He was again worried if he was back under surveillance.

For a moment he realized a strange looking man was watching him.

“Ariel I think today so many people are watching me.” he said again while avoiding some of the views of the people who still see it.

Ariel looked at the person Orion was referring to and stared at him for a long time as if speaking from a distance. After that no one looked at Orion.

“That's just your feeling. Now look no one noticed you ?” asked Ariel again sat quietly on the podium.

True to what Ariel said, Orion looked around and there was no one to look at him anymore. He sat back quietly and saw that Yang's auction would soon begin.

The werewolf armies sent from the north and south came today to secure and guard the auction during their time.They spread out that there was some mixing with the visitors, there were also some who were on guard outside and some who had not yet shown themselves.

Meanwhile somewhere else.

Bruno's bodyguards prepared a small army of ten thousand who were already on standby somewhere without the knowledge of King Agastya.

Bruno's small army would move at any time when the man gave them orders.

The members of the stealth team were also at the cold moon palace and were on standby if at any time Bruno's bodyguards asked them to move.

They seemed to be discussing in the hall of the Twin Moons.

“Mr Bruno when do we start moving?” krish asks him who can't wait to duel with werewolves.

Bruno was delighted to see the members of the stealth team coming together to start the fight.

“Wait.. We have to wait first if they attack we just remove our troops, but if there is no attack we better not start this fight.” said Bruno's bodyguard. Krish seemed disappointed by the decision of King Agastya's bodyguard. Because he actually wanted to feel back to enjoying fighting after a long time there was no fight.

“Two how... will we move and start deploying all our troops?” fredi asked the elder Casper in the special room that was there.

Elder Casper had seen the auction event run smoothly as usual. He did not find any amulet present in that place.

“I don't think we need to deploy our troops now because I don't see any amulet infiltrating this place. Actually we should avoid the great war that occurred between werewolves and amulets like decades ago and took a lot of lives. I don't want that to happen again this time. Hold all the troops and waste them in place. Wait for the next command from me.” Elder Casper said at length to them.

Fredi and Sully walked out of the special room before anyone saw them and re-blended into the middle of the residents.

One of them looked for his troops to blend in with the audience of the auction event and ordered to get out of the audience area because it felt safe.

Some time later the visitor area that was once crowded with spectators now began to decrease. One by one the spectators who were the dispatch troops from the northern and southern parts left the area.

Orion saw some empty benches left behind by the audience into wonder.

“Why suddenly the audience here the number decreases a lot after suddenly increasing ? Where are they all going ? Is there something going on here.. ?” the inner girl while looking at the few people who came out from the audience area was out of nowhere they went after. Though the auction event this time is a peak event and very exciting, but even some people go not to see it.

“Ariel... Where did those people go ? Why did they go in the middle of the show ?” ask the man who looks calm from earlier and looks to enjoy the auction.

“Ah. Maybe they do have other business.” replied the boy calmly as if nothing happened even though he actually knew if the troops were getting a call to gather immediately.

Outside the auction venue, Fredi was already standing there waiting for the other troops who had yet to gather.

Moments later all the troops had gathered and were ready to stand in place. They were all waiting for a follow-up order from the superior to act.

Until the afternoon they were on standby at the venue, but the auction went well and no intruders or amulet entered the venue.

Sully immediately sought out the elder Casper to report on that.

“Two seems like the condition this time is safe. Because there is no sign of the emergence and movement of amulet here.” he explained to elder Casper in a whisper because they were in the auction audience area.

“Let down the security this time. Dismiss the troops as soon as the event is over. It looks like amulet has no intention of waving the war flag with us.” he said softly with a smile. Sully simply nodded then immediately caught up with Fredi who was outside the auction area.

He conveyed what elder Casper had told him. And at once he dispersed all the troops that had lined up neatly there.

The same thing happened in Amulet. After a long wait and no sign of the appearance or attack of the werewolves, Bruno disbanded all the troops he had been alerting.
