Eps. 46 Amulet

The next morning Orion leaves for college with Ariel waiting for him in front of the house. Every day the boy would take him away together.

Ariel who grew up became a figure of a man who was sturdy and handsome. Many other girls fell in love with her but she did not look at any other girl besides Orion.

But the girl never knew if her friend had put his heart on her since childhood.

Because often walk with many residents around who consider the two of them are a couple. But Orion doesn't care what people say about him.

“Ariel had something strange going on with me.” said he then stopped under a large tree by the road to talk seriously for a moment to the man.

“What's up.. ?” his tan followed Orion walking up to the big tree and leaning against the tree.

“When it hurt when did my mouth feel bland and now it's been three days but when I eat anything everything I eat there is still no taste at all. What do you think it's whether I'm sick or something?” he said and told the man his complaints.

Ariel was confused as to what to answer. She feels it is actually the responsibility of her mother but somehow until now Zoya's mother still has not told her identity and even now she feels burdened with how to keep a secret meeting that was for years.

“Emm...what yes... I don't know for sure..” Ariel lowered her head staring at the ground as she did not want the girl to find a lie in her eyes.

The boy was silent for a long time and it made Orion even more certain that his friend was hiding something from him. Because he had memorized the character of his friend who was his playmate since childhood.

The girl moved in front of the boy and held his hand.

“I'm sure you know something and you're hiding it from me.” he said come closer and make Ariel feel nervous because her heart is beating faster.

The boy let go with Orion and shifted a little away from him for his heartbeat to return to normal and he could breathe a sigh of relief.

“Ariel... Please tell me if you know anything. Whatever I can accept. I've asked mom but Mom says there's no problem with me..” she said hoping and looking lethargic.

Ariel also had no power to hold herself back to tell her true identity when she saw the girl cuckold him.

“Hah...yeah well I will tell you and I will give you one hint, no more. And you have to find out for yourself the rest.” he said after breathing heavily and reluctantly telling the girl the truth.

“Ayolah...” urge Orion.

“Huft... You mentioned earlier is one of the characteristics of amulet.” he replied that saw the girl looked confused and more curious and wanted to ask her further.

“Amulet. What is amulet ?” ask him back who wants to know that.

“I told you at the beginning, I only gave one hint.” replied the boy and then walked back after seeing that they were talking for 30 minutes.

“Ah... shit... ! You're making me curious on purpose, aren't you?” the boy's protest felt unacceptable because usually Ariel always helped him when he was in trouble.

“Orion.. less than 30 minutes class will start and we are almost late !”

Ariel left the girl who was still confused by herself and walked quickly towards their campus.

“Hey wait for me.. !” The girl ran and chased after Ariel who left her.

During the class the girl was not focused when the lesson took place.her mind floated on the amulet word that was spoken by Ariel. What is amulet ? Is it some sort of ancient tribe in the past ? Or maybe the offspring of a princess ? all of that made him curious until he went alone to the library during the break.

he took all the history books and read them one by one but he did not find at all the amulet words in the book he read earlier.

“Hah...” sighed the girl who felt annoyed at not finding what she was looking for after picking up a few stacks of books.

he put the book back in its place because he saw that I was at the library door and it seemed like he had been there for a long time.

“Are you looking for the word I mentioned to you earlier?” guess it after seeing the girl it seemed to think of something and was chaotic.

The girl simply smiled in response to the child's statement that could read her mind clearly.

Late in the afternoon at home, Orion sat alone contemplating in the living room. He repeatedly looked at the wall clock. It seemed that the girl could not wait for her mother who had still not come home from earlier.

he wanted to ask Ariel the word mentioned earlier to his mother maybe his mother knew something, but it had been almost an hour he waited and his mother still had not come home too.

“Do I follow my mother only at the restaurant... ?” he thought he stood up and walked out of the house after locking it up.

The girl walked for twenty minutes and then she arrived at her mother's restaurant.

He rushed into the restaurant to look for his mother.

Her mother is usually in the break room.

“Nothing...” he said after searching for his mother was not in the dugout.

“Surely there..” he muttered out of the resting place and headed to his mother's special room which was always locked and no one had ever entered there, he said, even the workers there did not know what was in the room.

“clack..”.

Orion opens the locked door with his vampire powers without his knowing.

“Isn't this room always locked.. but why is it open this time ?” he said he was surprised and curious if his mother forgot to lock the door.

Out of curiosity the girl continued to enter the small and dark room. He looked for the light switch and pressed to turn on the lights in the room.

“blar..” light brightly on.

The smell of carnation was smelled in the room and he saw that there were some dead animals in the room and were lying on the long table that was there.

The girl felt that something was wrong, she continued to walk and look for her mother until she found her mother standing in the corner of the room with her back.

“Mother...” call her to approach her mother and stop when it is right behind her.

He pulled his mother's shoulder and pulled her body against him.

“Mother... !!”

The girl was shocked when she saw her mother's blood-stained lips while holding a rabbit in her dead hand.
