My Annoying Lecturer's

My Annoying Lecturer's
One Day Later

"I don't want to go out, El. I want to finish today." Mr. Arfa's tone of voice sounded firm.

"I'm lazy to ask, sir. I'm tired today."

"Elvia, please finish today."

"When did you meet Delia in Australia?" I held my breath for a moment. It felt like my breath was getting irregular when I mentioned the name of the cuckoo.

"Mr told me there was business. But, in fact, I even met Delia. Really?" My next.

"Yes, I admit it."

"Okay, enough! You can come out."

Really right? This is what I'm afraid of. I was afraid that if I asked, then the answer that Mr. Arfa gave me was something I hated.

"Here I was, El."

"What?!"

"I went there on business. It turned out that her future husband Delia was my business partner. I didn't know Delia would pick me up."

I let out a rough sigh, "Lie! I can't believe it!"

Mr. Arfa growled in frustration, "I can call her future husband Delia, if you want."

I'm sobbing deeper now. My mind is full of unsubstantiated guesses. Did Mr Arfa lie? Did Mas Alvin lie? Did Delia lie? My head almost broke just from thinking of something like this.

"Delia came to see me."

Mr. Arfa frowned confusedly, "Ngapain?"

"She said she's pregnant with her father."

Mr. Arfa's face suddenly stiff. The nervous face that he had just shown, seemed to begin to fade away with a tense face. I don't know if my question made him act like that or something behind the screen of his phone, because he looks like he keeps glancing at his phone.

Mr Arfa's cell phone is more important than me?

Haha.

"Why silence? So it's actually Delia bullshit?"

Mr. Arfa is still silent. Even now he turns to focus his eyes on his cellphone, I don't know what makes him so focused on his cellphone rather than answering my questions. Mr. Arfa managed to drive me crazy with negative thoughts that were increasingly popping in my head.

"Sir..." I said in a weak-sounding voice. Yes, even I was not able to let out a loud tone of voice with a weak horn.

"Sorry."

One simple word, but why does it sound so heartbreaking?

Mean what? I don't need an apology! I need an explanation!

"What the hell, sir?!"

"Sorry."

"What do you mean sorry?!"

"Sir, if your answer to my question is just an apology. Mending you go. Our relationship is over. After we got here, sir. Please don't bother me anymore."

Mr. Arfa initially just silent while continuing to look at the screen of his cellphone. Then, slowly Mr. Arfa began to retreat with a face stroke that seemed to define that he was very lost. Or I'm the only one who misrepresents the meaning of that face.

"I'm sorry, Elvia."

That was the last sentence Mr. Arfa said about 8 months ago.

💕💕💕

Ja. Since then, Mr. Arfa has stopped teaching. Looks like he went to Australia, that's news I heard from Bang Kelvin.

I also had time to hear the news that Bang Kelvin was fussing in the office of Mr. Arfa.

The events of eight months ago are too imprinted in my memory. In fact, even my smallest heart still wants Mr. Arfa stupidly. Even though I tried to erase Mr. Arfa in my mind.

I went back to the old Elvia, being someone who was lazy to be extraordinary. If in the past, Mr. Arfa must have been tampering if I knew my day was filled with true laziness.

The only difference is that Mas Alvin is getting closer to me. I don't know, if the current language might be a boyfriend-flavored friend?

Because until now I still do not accept the feelings of Mas Alvin. Not not not not accepting, but my heart is still gamang. So, I don't want to make Mas Alvin an outlet.

"Neng, today come home again in the afternoon?" Ask Ma'am Ica.

"Yes, Mother. There's an event."

"Yaudah, be careful."

I smiled faintly as I nodded my head in response to Ica's words.

Then I went to the cafe near my house. Yes, Mas Alvin invited me to meet.

"Have you waited a long time?" Tanya Mas Alvin greeted me when I arrived.

"Not really, Mom." I answered, lifting a little bit both corners of my lips.

"Have message?"

I nodded my head, "Have. As usual, right?"

Mas Alvin chuckled softly, "Yes. This cafe is like our routine?"

I laughed too, "Yes. It's just the same as our order."

"Favor Ma'am." I said when the waiters had already presented our order.

"So, how's Mas? Is there another project?" I said while sipping green tea which is already my favorite drink.

"There was. Next week anyway, El." Answer Mas Alvin.

"Out of town?"

"Yes. In Bandung, the photo prewed."

"Oh, that's it."

"You coming?"

"Can?"

"Why not?"

"Don'toooo!" I said with enthusiasm.

Mas Alvin stroked the top of my hair slowly, "It's normal. I never went to Bandung."

Honestly, I was a little surprised by Mas Alvin's sudden behavior. Actually it managed to remind me of the habit of Mr. Arfa who likes to wipe the top of my hair.

Hah, again Mr. Arfa...

"Father. Refreshing Mas."

"Is that what college is for?" Ask Mas Alvin.

"Rubber." My answer.

Ja. Actually, college is no fun, coupled with the absence of the presence of Mr. Arfa makes me lazy to go to college.

"No, that's not it, El. Cepet finished his lecture so I can spit out I halalin."

"Huh?" Again Mas Alvin surprised me with his words and behavior.

"What was that talking about?" My next.

"Father. I just keep eating."
