Meet Elmira

I went into the ICU where Elmira was taken care of. There is a sense of happiness because I finally get to see my daughter after a week of not meeting her. But I could not deny my sadness was greater when I saw my little baby had to lie weak in this hospital bed.

"Darling, this is Mama son. Mama is here, Mama promised to accompany you to pass through this difficult time son" I said while kissing Elmira's forehead who was still asleep.

I want to hug and hold her right now.

"Later if the daughter is awake, I can already give her ASI yes Mom!" doctor Anwar said.

"Yes Doc, thank you so much for allowing me to meet my daughter again to give her ASI. I'm really grateful to the doctor" I said.

"Sama-sama Ma'am, regardless of any issues Mother with her husband Mother, but the child is still our priority. Hopefully in the future this will be a valuable lesson for us Mom" replied Doctor Anwar with a friendly smile.

"Yes Doc, thank you" I said.

"Then I say goodbye to you" said Doctor Anwar as he passed away from this room.

Then I sat down beside Elmira's bed, looking at her deeply while gently stroking her head.

It felt like a dream to see my daughter again.

My tears could not stop me from falling.

Suddenly Elmira moved and cried, "Honey, this is Mama Nak. My mother was next to Elmira. From now on Mama will always be next to Elmira, Mama will fight to keep Elmira. So Elmira's got to heal fast, hang on, kid!" say me.

I went out to call the nurse. When I came out, I saw Alexa and Mas Arvin who were still busy arguing.

But when they saw me, they fell silent.

I chose not to press them, and kept walking to call the nurse.

"Sus, my baby's awake. I wanted to give her ASI, but I was confused how to hold her because it was still attached infusion hose" said ku.

"Come on Ma'am, I'll take her off. If your baby has gotten breast milk later, your baby does not need to be infused again. But Mother must always be beside her baby, so that the baby Mother does not dehydrate ya Ma'am" said the Sister.

"Thank God" said Mas Arvin.

"Mas, why are you alone with him?" alexa asked when she saw me and Mas Arvin walking side by side.

I just shook my head at Alexa's question.

It was obvious that right now he was only thinking about Mas Arvin, not Elmira.

'So scared of her she lost Mas Arvin. Even if he gave Mas Arvin to me, I would never accept him again. Because for me a traitor can never change my mind.

"And you can just ask her here, Mas, why should you be alone with her?" said Alexa.

"For this time I beg you Alexa, please don't make a fuss here. I've had a lot of thoughts because of Elmira's circumstances, so you don't add to the burden of my mind with your unwarranted jealousy of Alexa" said Mas Arvin.

"Unreasonous Mommy? Did you forget he was your ex-wife? How am I supposed to calm down if you guys meet like this more and more?" vania.

"If you just want to find a commotion, you better get out of here" Mas Arvin replied.

"What?? So you kicked me out of here for this woman?" Alexa widened her eyes of disbelief with the words of Mas Arvin just now.

Lazy to see them arguing, I chose to go into the ICU room where Elmira was being treated.

As I walked close to Alexa, Alexa suddenly grabbed my hand and slapped my cheek firmly until I staggered and lost my balance.

As I was about to fall down, suddenly something was holding my body. It turned out that Mr. Andra managed to hold my body so as not to fall.

"Sir Andra" said I was a little surprised to see Mr. Andra who suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

"This is my last warning, if you dare to be rude to Vania, I will report you to the police" Mr. Andra stared intently at Alexa.

"You think I'm afraid of your threats? Absolutely not Andra." replied Alexa without feeling the slightest fear.

"Thank you so much, sir, for always coming at the right time. But I have to go inside first to see my daughter, I'm sorry sir" I said as I passed and did not rub Alexa who stared at me cynically.

"Mom, this baby can already be given ASI yes, if so I say come out first ma'am" said the nurse.

"Yes, thank you so much" I said.

I immediately carried Elmira and hugged her. "Son, it's Mama. Elmira should be healthy! If Elmira recovers, Mama will take Elmira to stay with Mama. Mama will fight for custody of Elmira" I said while kissing my little daughter's forehead.

Suddenly Elmira held my index finger tightly, I was so moved that I could not help my crying that had subsided.

I immediately breastfed Elmira, and it turned out that Elmira suckled her voraciously.

'My God, just like this I'm so happy. Just being able to see my daughter every day, that was more than enough.

I demand nothing more than that, but let me take care of Elmira for her as good as God' I murmured inwardly.

After fifteen minutes of breastfeeding Elmira, Elmira finally went back to sleep.

I immediately laid her on the bed, sat on the available chair beside her bed and gently stroked her head buds.

"Sleep dear and have a good dream, Mama will accompany Elmira here" I said.

Suddenly the door opened, and Alexa who was standing on the doorstep looked at me with a cynical look.

'Otherwise want it? Though I'm not in the mood to argue right now' my inner self.
