After I received the money from Mr. Joko, I rushed to run for a taxi.

Waiting for a while, the taxi did not come either.

It felt like his face was so cold when I touched it, I also touched Elmira's face which was just as cold as Vania's.

Even though Vania didn't answer, she still wanted to follow me to get inside.

"Sit down on Vania" I said, and Vania sat on the sofa.

I saw Elmira sleeping in Vania's arms.

"Here, Elmira must be tired because you have been carrying her ever since. Let me just lay in the baby box" I also untied the pull sling used by Vania and took Elmira from her sling.

I immediately took Elmira to the room and put her in the baby box, enveloping her tiny body that was still cold because it was exposed to the night wind.

Even after Elmira had already slept in the baby box, she still remained asleep and did not wake up.

After making sure Elmira was safe and asleep, I followed her to the living room where Vania was sitting.

"Vania.." I said as I knelt before Vania and clasped her hands.

"Why are you here? You should have stayed at your house accompanying your parents" Vania said.

"No Vania, from now on I will always accompany you" I replied so as to make Vania look at me in astonishment.

"Did you hear everything my parents said?" ask me, and Vania nodded.
