Fun and exhausting

At the restaurant, Karina who has looked charming is seen already sitting waiting for the presence of Lara and Vander since some time ago. Shortly thereafter, the guests arrived.

Seeing their arrival, Karina's eyes were immediately fixed on Van's figure who was seen wearing a semi-formal suit, walking gallantly full of charisma. Even when viewed from the way he walked, who would believe that the man was a bodyguard? With his current aura and appearance Vander is more suitable to be called a mafia boss than a bodyguard.

Upon arriving at the dinner table, Vander danced a chair for Lara. "Please Miss."

"Thank you."

Karina's face turned sour seeing Van treating Lara like that. Not willing to waste the opportunity this time Karina began to carry out her plan. He deliberately asked Vander to sit next to him on the grounds that he wanted to know Van more closely.

This time Lara could not resist because, if she addressed her dislike to Karina, it could have affected the cooperation that would be established.

"It's okay if your bodyguard who has helped me is sitting near me?"

"Oh yes of course," Lara replied followed by a fake smile. For the sake of the contract the girl did not mind even though her heart was currently completely burned with jealous flames.

In his room Jeden looks serious reading documents about Vander that have been sent by Eva.

"So Van was a member of the crux? But why did he come out?"

Jeden silenced a meaningful smile. "It's interesting," he said.

The man called Eva.

Jeden: I've been reading the discourse about the Van you sent, so what's the next step?

Eva: I'll be informed later, which is clear now you have to keep monitoring it and informing what Van is doing.

Jeden: Okay, but Miss Eva I remind you one more time. You should never interfere in my personal affairs with Van.

Eva: Okay.

The ordered food finally arrived.

"Let's eat before the food is cold" Karina said. "Mr Van you eat a lot yes" he added.

Lara who sees Karina trying to get along with Van is irritated by it. Huh! If it wasn't for a contract where I might have let Van sit next to him!

Van noticed Lara staring at him and Karina.

"Miss Lara what's wrong?" Ask Vander.

"It's okay, just nauseous to see a female fox, " said Lara.

Karina squinted her eyes at Lara. That female fox she meant was me?

Karina smiled cunningly. The woman even more aggressively approached and teased Van with a made-up sweet snob. Ughhhh! really want to vomit it was like Lara who witnessed Karina's behavior.

Unfortunately, that frustration can only be released on the food in front of him. The steak in front of Lara he considered Karina and cut it.

Vander too, why doesn't he just leave anyway! I want to pour water on this woman!

The van suddenly got out of the chair and went to the toilet.

While Van went to the toilet, Lara asked Karina when they signed her contract.

"Quiet Miss Lara after this we'll sign it."

"Good then. You see, I was just afraid that Miss Karina had forgotten because she was too engrossed in getting close to my bodyguard" Lara said, quipping Karina.

Karina smiled mockingly. "Is Miss Lara afraid that her favorite bodyguard is interested in me?" Karina was so confident.

Lara was really unhappy with Karina's words just now. But Lara has to be calm, she can't get out of control. He must try to stay in control of his emotions until the cooperation between Miracle and Appletree is truly accomplished.

Lara and Vander return to the apartment.

A worried Vander followed him from behind.

"Miss...!" The cry called out to the Miss who walked first.

Lara went straight into the room.

Van knocks on the room and asks Lara to open the door. "Miss Lara please open the door, if you're angry because I helped Miss Karina earlier then I'm sorry, I don't mean anything Miss." Van tries to persuade Lara but Lara still does not want to open the door, he instead yells to Van to leave and do not disturb him.

"My lady..."

"Go on my own!" Lara cried from inside the room.

Van wanted to knock on the door again but stopped doing it and chose to give up first. "Alright I'll let Miss go myself, but I beg you Miss don't lock yourself up for long" he said from outside the room. With a feeling of regret Van left in the room.

In the room Lara seemed to sit on the bed with mixed feelings. Angry, upset, jealous, and sorry as if one.

"Why should I be angry?" Ask Lara confused. "Vander was just my bodyguard but why would I not like to see him close to another woman! Even I'm not his girlfriend let alone his wife, why should I be jealous. Even if I'm jealous it shouldn't be Vander's fault, he doesn't know I have feelings for him."

Lara who felt tired was lying on the bed with her eyes softly staring at the ceiling of the room. "If there were still a mother, I would be able to share this story of how I feel."

Lara soon misses her mother. "Mother.You know, your daughter is in love. It feels fun and exhausting."

Vander left the apartment to enjoy a cigarette. The man really did not understand the attitude of his boss. "Is it true that she was angry that I was carrying Karina earlier? Is he jealous? Maybe she has feelings for me?" Van snorted as if laughing at him. "Am I starting to be a crazy man who has no shame? How could I think a Lara Hazel likes a subordinate like me?"

It was impossible, even thinking of obtaining his heart was extremely unlikely.

Beeping... Beeping... Van's phone vibrates.

The man immediately threw away his cigarette and raised Aron's call.

Aron: So you can meet me?

Vander: Yes, wait for me at the river crossing near the city, I will meet you there.

Aron : Yes!

Van intends to go out for a while to see Aron. He also sent a message to Lara's cell phone telling her that he had permission to go out for a while. I'm going away for a while Miss, I promise it won't be long so please don't cry or get scared, if anything happens just call me as soon as possible.

In her room Karina who was lying on the bed smiling herself saw one leg bandaged.

"It's good that my legs are also sprained" he said with satisfaction.

Flashbacks

When she finished eating and signed a contract with Miracle and Appletree, Lara requested that she immediately end the meeting. But Karina who did not want to immediately part with Van asked permission first to go to the toilet to buy time. When Karina got out of the chair to go to the toilet, suddenly there were two children running around and nudged Karina to make the woman fall down. Everyone reflexively looked towards him. Karina was embarrassed.  "Fuck shit!"

"Oh aunt please forgive us" said the two boys in fear.

Karina he was eager to curse the boy and sue their parents, but he immediately remembered Van who was still here. And as soon as Karina's cunning brain works, she plans to take advantage of this incident to get Van's attention. The cunning woman immediately acted in pain as real as possible to make people there feel pity including Lara.

"Miss Karina?" Lara was worried to see Karina's face which seemed to be in a lot of pain. "Van Miss Karina is in a lot of pain so quickly you pick her up and we take her to the hospital!" Lara panicked.

Van finally took Karina and took her to the hospital.

Flashback complete.

"So when I was carrying her, I could feel Van's tough, sexy abdominal muscles!" Karina is excited. "Oh yeah I haven't got the phone number yet. I have to get Van's number, and once I get her number I'll go up to her and make her fall into my arms and leave Lara" she said.

In the future it seems like the female fox will be more behavior.
