Chapter 109: The Hard Choice

After getting permission from his mother, Evan tried to find out which campus he would visit. Evan is very enthusiastic because his aspirations will be achieved by studying abroad. It was actually Evan's ideal that he had just been thinking about lately. Because Arya has asked Evan to be her future successor. Evan wants to learn and get the best education.

"Nay, can I have a word?" evan asks when Kanaya visits Arya's parents' house to see Arini's newborn child.

"Speak what Brother?" kanaya asked curiously.

"We go to the back garden, come on," Evan took Kanaya to the back garden.

Evan will tell Kanaya about her intention to study abroad. He wanted Kanaya to be able to wait for him while he was studying there. Because Evan has decided to make Kanaya a special person in his life.

"Nay, I have something to say" Evan said nervously.

"Say what, sister?" Kanaya is getting curious.

"I want to go to school abroad and I want to ask you to wait for me." Evan said it with a single breath.

"That's why Evan wants to study abroad?"

"Yes, Nay. I'm asking you to wait until I finish my education."

"Wait what, sister?" Kanaya did not understand the direction Evan spoke but her heart felt uneasy.

"Wait for me to make you a special person in my life" Evan's words managed to make Kanaya close her mouth in shock.

"What do you mean Evan?" Kanaya's heart was beating faster than usual.

"I like you Naya and I want you to be the only one. That's why wait for me, yes" Evan pinta.

"Sister, I ...." Kanaya could not finish her speech because Indi came to the back garden.

"Upss, sorry. Mama doesn't know you guys are talking to each other anymore" said Indi pretending to feel guilty.

"No aunt, it's done" replied Kanaya and smiled stiffly.

"Why are you Mah?" evan asked a little annoyed at his mother, she knew her mother was deliberately intruding.

"Nothing, just saying we're eating together." Indi smiled widely and invited Kanaya into the house.

Kanaya feels saved but also feels guilty for not being able to give an answer to Evan's question.

Evan has chosen to study at the University of Waterloo in Canada. He majored in management to support it later when he took over the Aryan company. Evan had prepared everything and had told his parents to take him to see the campus he had chosen.

"Why is Van so far away? If so far Mama does not want to," said Indi a little did not accept.

"Well, Evan wants to study independently and wants to go there." Evan tries to persuade Indi.

"May study abroad, but don't go far too Van. Flights there have taken one day more Van, far away." Indi complains because Canada is far from home now.

Evan chose another University that he thought was good and his country was also comfortable. Canada is too far from home, but the farther it will be the better for Evan. He wants to be independent and find his own life.

"What if London was just a van?" aryan proposal.

"London is also a long way, 16 hours drive more dear." Indi remains protesting.

"Actually Mama Ngijinin Evan studied abroad anyway? Everywhere is not allowed" said Evan annoyed.

"Well, in Singapore, too, abroad. Deket's from here Van." Indi spoke with a big smile.

"Do we have to let Evan go to college in London?" ask Indi.

"Dear, from Canada. London is still within reach despite a 16-hour journey."

Indi thought of Arya's words. He just has not been able to let go of his first child to live alone without the assistance of his parents. Although Evan was a boy, but Indi still did not willingly away from his son.
