Chapter 54: The Third Child

Nine months old Indi was pregnant. She was more worried about this third pregnancy. Because she feels old and still given the confidence to be able to get pregnant.

"How many days are you expected to give birth to Ndi?" ask your mom when visiting home.

"One more week Mah if the doctor says," replied Indi felt heavy carrying a large stomach.

"Hopefully the birth process," said Mama prayed.

"Yes Mah. Indi was not feeling well stomach," said Indi stroked his distended stomach.

Arya went to the office as usual. Today Indi did not come because she felt that she was not feeling well. Indi was taking a snack when his water seeped through the clothes he wore.

"Mama," Indi shouted in a slight panic.

"Why baby?" ask Mama to panic.

"Indi wants to give birth to Mah, this is water seepage," said Indi holding on to the dining table.

"Relax Ndi, Mama called an ambulance the same time Arya called." Mom tried to calm down and called.

Arya immediately rushed to the hospital when she knew Indi was about to give birth.

One hour Indi was in the delivery room with Doctor and Arya. Indi was exhausted because the baby did not want to come out.

"Strong baby, you can, of course" said Arya to strengthen Indi.

"I'm sorry dear" said Indi lirih.

"Honey please, you are strong," said Arya began to worry about the state of Indi.

"How's Doctor?" ask Arya to the doctor who handles Indi.

"Come Bu Indi, let's try again. Take a breath, then exhale slowly while straining," the doctor said.

Indi tried hard and did as the Doctor directed. With the remaining energy Indi pushed hard and finally the baby came out safely. The cry of a newborn baby echoed all the way to the outside of the room.

"Good thanks, I love you" said Arya then kissed Indi's forehead.

Indi just smiled while shedding tears. Then his eyes closed.

"Darling, why are you. Doctor, my wife why?" arya asked worriedly.

"Bu Indi just need to rest sir, it's okay," said the doctor, then immediately finish dealing with Indi.

Indi gave birth to a baby boy. Arya was so happy to tell her whole family. But there is excessive worry because Indi immediately fainted.

"How is Indi?" ask Mama.

"Against Mah's break, it seems like his energy has drained away," Arya replied trying to smile.

"Well, where's the baby brother?" ask Evan.

"It's still being examined by the doctor, dear" replied Arya.

One by one saw the condition of Indi who was still asleep. Evan held his mother's hand to encourage.

"Mama, thank you for giving Evan another sister. Mama's strong, so you have to get up, yeah," said Evan made Arya feel moved.

"Darling, you need to wake up quickly. Our children need you" Arya said in her heart.

"Evan and Vania went home with grandma and grandpa" Pinta Arya.

"But Evan wants to wait for Mama, Pah," said Evan refused.

"Later, if you're conscious, Evan can come here again. Poor Vania," said Arya gave understanding to Evan.

"OK deh Pah, take care of Mama ya Pah," pinta Evan then out of Indi's room.

Evan and Vania are taken home by Aryan's parents. In Indi's nursery, Arya holds Indi's hand tightly. Arya had seen their third child placed in the nursery while Indi was still unconscious.

"Honey, why haven't you woken up?" arya asked, kissing Indi's hand.

Arya holds Indi's hand while praying. He was so worried because Indi had never been like this. Arya sleeps next to Indi's bed.

One day passed, Indi was still unconscious. The doctor said it could happen because Indi was in shock after giving birth.

"Bu Indi seems to feel anxious about something before giving birth, or is being thought about," replied the Doctor explained.

"But it's okay, Doc?" ask Arya again.

"It's okay sir, Mr. Indi just needs a rest" said the doctor again.

"Baby how's Doc? Not suckling her mother yet?" asked Arya again more worried because her son was still not breastfed by Indi.

"Pray sir, Miss Indi will soon be awake. Excuse me" said the Doctor and left Arya.

Arya held tightly onto Indi's hand and kissed her forehead. Slowly Arya rubbed Indi's hair while chanting her prayer.

"Darling, wake up. Poor our son, he needs you. He wants to drink your breast milk dear," said Arya softly.

Slowly Indi fingers moved, Indi eyes opened and saw a worried smile on Arya's face.

"Darling?" ask Indi confused.

"Good thanks, thank you for waking up" said Arya hugging Indi.

"Where's our son?" tanya Indi is still not fully aware of her condition.

"After I call the Doctor and the nurse yes," said Arya kissing Indi's forehead.

Arya immediately pressed the button to call the Doctor and the nurse. After being examined by a Doctor and there were no serious problems, the nurse took the baby to the nursery. Indi immediately breastfed her baby and Arya was relieved to see that.

"Thank God you wake up quickly baby, pity our child starve," said Arya smiling.

"Do you want to name who our son is?" ask Indi while breastfeeding.

"Vano, baby, Evano Wijaya" Arya replied.

"His name is called all yes," muttered Indi smiling.

After two days of recovery, Indi and Vano were allowed to go home. At home, Arini and Dimas prepare a small party for Indi's return. Evan and Vania can't wait to see their baby sister.

"Evan, Vania, Mama's coming home" cried Arya from the entrance of the house.

"So quiet, dear?" ask Indi.

"Well, Pah," called Arya to her parents.

Still no answer, Indi and Arya went straight into the room.

"Surprise" cried everyone in Indi's room.

"Mama," call Evan and Vania together. They rushed towards Indi.

"Geez, thank you everyone" said Indi teary-eyed.

"Welcome home, sister," said Arini and kissed Indi's cheek.

"Congratulations on his birth, Ndi, Arya" Dimas said.

"Thank you, everyone" said Arya.

Vano has been taken over by Mama Arya and put in a baby box. Indi and Arya brought everyone to the dining room. Mama has prepared a nutritious meal for the recovery of Indi.

"Now Indi eat first a lot so that the ASI is abundant," said Mama gave vegetables katuk leaves to Indi.

"Do nursing mothers have to eat that rich every day Mah?" tanya Arini looked at a large bowl of vegetable leaves with a full look.

"Yes, let's have a lot of breast milk" replied Mama smiling.

"Don't want to," murmured Arini who did not really like vegetables.

"Well, if Vano is big enough to play with Evan, right?" ask Evan excitedly.

"Sama Vania too" cried Vania.

"Yes, if Vano is big, the three of you can play together," Arya answered rubbing Evan and Vania's heads.
