Chapter 114: A Surprise for Evan

Indi was still planning something to surprise Evan. He forbids Evan from meeting with Kanaya just to make her feel upset. Although Evan made a mistake, but he has apologized and Indi will not have the heart to make his son careless because of his punishment.

Arriving at Kanaya's house, Indi and Arya get out of the car and talk briefly with Dion. They explained about last night's incident experienced by Kanaya. They also apologized on behalf of Evan for not taking care of Kanaya so much that it happened that way. Dion sincerely accepted Indi and Arya's apology. He realized that their children had entered adolescence as adults. Dion understands that.

After saying goodbye Indi and Arya returned to his office. Arya held onto Indi's hand tightly with her left hand that was not holding the steering wheel, then kissed her gently. My smile was treated like that.

"Tumben how are you?" ask Indi meledek.

"I'm always like this baby, you're the one who lately most thoughts until finally forget me," said Arya a little complaining but still displays her smile.

"Am I, Ar? I'm sorry if I've been cuekin you. A few months ago was a time I will never forget. What a blow to me as a mother." Indi looked away considering the past events.

"Don't think about it, baby, it's all over. You are the strongest and toughest mother I have ever seen. You are also a wife who never demands much, I love you Indi." Arya again kissed Indi's hand with the focus of driving. Indi replied with a smile.

Arriving at the office, Indi and Arya immediately walked in side by side by displaying their aura of professionalism. All employees greeted Arya with respect and courtesy as their boss. Indi threw a smile at every employee who greeted him. In addition to being friendly, Indi is also famous for being very professional at work, even though her boss is her own husband.

"I'm going to the pantry first, sir. All of you want to make coffee for you" said Indi when he wanted to get into a special elevator.

"Well," Arya answered briefly.

Sometimes Arya's professionalism makes Indi laugh at herself when no one sees her. Because of how cold and his feet an Aryan. He is a very warm husband and father and likes to joke too.

"Good morning, Miss Indi," said Jessi who was going to the pantry room as well.

"Morning, Jess. You are always excited about work" said Indi praising Jessi, the youngest employee close to Indi.

"Yes dong Bu, my soul is a young soul. I'm young too, Mom." Jessi joked with a big smile.

"You can do it." Indi smiled at Jessi's cheer. Indi immediately made coffee for Arya and headed for her room on the top floor of the Wijaya company building. After putting coffee on Arya's desk and getting a forced kiss from Arya, Indi returns to her room and does the work for today. Put together the files that Arya has to sign and write Aryan's work schedule. Dimas came in while Indi was focusing on his work.

"Sister," said Dimas surprised Indi.

"Gosh, Dim. I was shocked, not to hear you enter. What's up?"

"Where's the surprise plan for Evan?" ask Dimas. Indi talked about his surprise plans for Evan with Arini last night, and maybe Dimas was on the spot when Indi called Arini the other night. In fact, Arya herself does not know Indi's plans.

"You know from Arin?" Indi asked back.

"Yes Kak, he said I told Kak Indi to help. Arin's still busy with Kayla."

"Okay, I'll tell you the plan, now get back to work first. Afraid of Boss pecking," said Indi smiling amusedly.

As much as Dimas, Indi continued his work while thinking about the surprise to celebrate Evan's graduation and the separation because Evan was going to study abroad. Indi sighed heavily as she remembered her son would go far from her side to pursue his education. For seventeen years, Indi will only feel separated from his eldest son.

In the afternoon, Indi and Dimas ask Arya for permission to buy all the necessities for Evan's surprise. Indi had told Arya his plan and she agreed with whatever Indi would do.

Indi and Dimas headed home to decorate some of his house and arrange all the necessities for a surprise later. Evan is still at Arya's parents' house and is held there by Arini for many reasons. India is free to prepare everything. Finished arranging all the needs for the surprise later, Indi and Dimas returned to the office and brought lunch for both of them and Arya.

"Is everything okay, baby?" arya asked while eating her lunch.

Indi and Arya continued their work until the afternoon. They invite Kanaya to come along and surprise Evan. After arriving home, Indi calls Arini to come home with Mama and Papa and Evan.

Everyone was ready to welcome Evan and surprise him.

Papa's car is heard going into the garage of Arya's house, Evan helps Arini down by taking Kayla with him.

"What do you want to have dinner with, Grandma?" ask Evan to Mama Arya.

"Yes, we have dinner together" replied Mama Arya casually.

"Indeed Mama and Papa have come home at this hour? Usually the night of his return."

"Udah come on in, pity Auntie you are with Kayla," asked Papa Arya to Evan and Arini.

Evan goes in first and feels lonely at his house.

"Mak Uli, Vania, Vano!" evan called out to everyone. There's no answer. Evan walked into the living room and was immediately shocked as everyone gathered there.

"Surprise!" shouted everyone who was in the living room.

"Congratulations on graduation, dear, and congratulations on being accepted to the University you want," said Indi approached Evan and gave a hug. Evan was still silent in place and his eyes started to tear up.

"Congratulations Evan" exclaimed Vania and Vano simultaneously.

Everyone congratulated Evan who still did not believe in all that. Kanaya smiles as she sees Evan moved by the surprise designed by Indi.

"Congratulations, I hope you can go to college well and graduate on time" Kanaya said right in front of Evan.

"Thank you Nay, so I'm working with Mama." Evan smiled after a moment of silence from feeling overwhelmed. Indi just smiled as he rolled his eyes.

"I'll wait until Brother Evan finishes his education in London" whispered Kanaya.
