Chapter 66: Who Is He?

The morning sun was shining brightly on the horizon. The waves of the beach sound beautiful greeting the ears. The breeze of the morning touches the skin refreshes the mind with a slow breath.

"Good morning" Arini shouted as she stretched her body on the balcony of her room.

"Don't shout auntie," Evan shouted back.

"You just scream. Jogging alone Van?" tanya Arini approached Evan.

"Yes aunty, Papa can not be built," replied Evan a little annoyed.

"Your father will not wake up if Kak Indi is also not awake," Arini said implying something.

"Kok aunty woke up first, not 'that'. He said honeymoon," Evan said.

"Be quiet, boy, don't talk about it" Arini's cheeks flushed.

"Evan is an adult aunt" said Evan.

"Well, ask for a date." Arini gets ready with her hands, but Evan runs away.

"From Dimas's eyes" cried Evan laughing.

Evan ran along the beach. She accidentally saw Jacelyn being mobbed by two men. In Evan's vision it looks like Jacelyn is in trouble.

"Hey," cried Evan closer.

"What do you need?" ask the tall man.

"That's my friend, please let go," Evan said seeing Jacelyn's arm gripped.

"Go Van, I'm not pa-pa" said Jacelyn grimacing in pain.

"Please let go" asked Evan again.

"Udah was told to go, go, go" said the man clutching Jacelyn's arm.

Evan pretended to turn around and kicked the man who was clutching Jacelyn's arm until it slipped out of his grip. Evan pulls Jacelyn's hand and runs away from the two men.

"Why Van?" ask Jacelyn.

"Congratulations," answered Evan looking back and still being chased.

"Lo doesn't need to get involved Van," said Jacelyn trying to shake off Evan's grasp.

"I'll call Papa first" Evan said as he tried to call Arya.

"Enough Van, just let me alone. You just go" said Jacelyn running towards the two men who were chasing her.

"Jacelyn, you crazy huh," cried Evan still standing in his place.

Jacelyn passed with the two men without turning her head again. Evan is very upset with Jacelyn's treatment of him.

"Give up, have been helped, too" muttered Evan while kicking the sand.

Evan's been thinking about Jacelyn all morning. There was actually a problem as to what he was with those two men.

"Van, what did you call Papa?" tanya Arya sat beside Evan on the veranda.

"No pa-pa Pa," Evan replied unfocusedly.

"Is there a problem?" ask Arya again.

Evan thought for a moment that he would tell Arya everything or not.

"Actually, Evan's friend again had a problem with two men Pa," Evan finally told the story.

"Which friend?"

"Who met at Aunt Angel's party." Evan looked far ahead.

"Oohh him, what relationship do you have?"

"So Evan again jogging, kept seeing him being forcefully pulled by the two men. And when Evan wanted to break up, he refused and left with the two men." Evan told me the details.

"Maybe he doesn't want you to get involved Van," Arya's words are the same as what Jacelyn said.

After Evan died, Indi immediately stared intently at Arya. Stared like that, Arya became wrong and did not dare to look at Indi.

"What are you keeping from me?" ask Indi firmly.

"No dear" replied Arya trying as quietly as possible.

"If not answered, there will be no ration until we get home from here" Indi threat as usual.

"Don't that dong darling, I won't be strong," whined Arya.

Forcibly, Arya told him everything that had been discussed with Evan. About Jacelyn who was involved with two men and did not want to be helped by Evan.

"Why should he interfere if he doesn't want to?" ask Indi a little annoyed.

Indi leaned his head against Arya's shoulder. Gently, Arya rubbed Indi's hair and calmed her down.

"Evan was our first child who was able to be independent from childhood. He has learned a lot from you, his strength, his independence. He's a kid who can make me fall in love with you baby." Arya kissed Indi's forehead slowly.

Indi let out a long sigh and looked at her husband.

"Thank you, yes" said Indi with a smile.

Arya immediately carried Indi into her arms. The precious woman he will take care of all his life.

Evan walked down the beach and saw one by one the villas around the beach. But don't see Jacelyn's whereabouts. She was a little worried because she had not seen him since this morning.

"Where are you really? Who are you really?" Evan asked himself.

"I don't think I can be indifferent to you Jace, how should I be?" yelled Evan throwing away his heartbreak.

Evan returned down the beach and approached one by one the existing villas. He wished there was Jacelyn in one of those villas.

Meanwhile in a dimly lit room, Jacelyn sat on a chair and in front of her was someone staring intently at her.

"Where's the development?" ask the guy.

"Still the approach stage, he is not a person who is friendly to women except his family. I must laboriously decetin him," java Jacelyn tried to calm down.

"Wasn't he the one who wanted to call you?" ask the guy again.

"Yes, but not because we're close. It was because he was indeed a good person," Jacelyn reasoned.

"Clearly, the most important thing is that you have to be able to get close to him and get into his family. Do not expect you can be free if you have not finished your task," threatened the person.

"Why do you have to kick the Wijaya family out? They're not random people and the people are good for me."

"The Wijaya family, look at it later" said the man, then laughed loudly and cried.
