Last night's cysts sleep faster than usual. Once you get a new place to stay with Agas, Kalista immediately lay on the mattress and knew that she was asleep.
But instead of waking up early, Kalista even woke up late, by ten in the morning. When Kalista woke up, what greeted him was the bright light from the small window and the aroma of Agas cuisine from the kitchen which was also small.
"Can't you cook?" kalista asked curiously even though her voice showed she wasn't conscious enough.
"Good morning, Miss."
Kalista rubbed his eyes while peeking at Agas. "So don't you dream of a complete package."
"I'll just take that as a compliment."
"The compliment."
Calistas came to the back of Agas, wrapping their hands around the man's body.
At first glance, he felt Agas stiffen. But Kalista still hugged him and sniffed the fragrant aroma of Agas' body.
"Sorry," whispered the grim Kalista. "So much so Papa scolded me for me."
"That's not something Miss needs to think about."
"I don't want Sis Agas to hate me because of Papa."
"I don't hate Miss for such superficial reasons."
Kalista tightened her embrace. To be honest, he hoped from the embrace that Agas knew the great love Kalista had for him. How much Kalista wants them to be together.
If Agas accepts, Kalista believes he doesn't need anyone anymore. They can live together and Kalista can really leave Rahadyan's side which always emphasizes the fact that he is Kalista's real father.
"Miss, breakfast is done."
Despite knowing it was a signal to stay away for a while, Kalista still hugged him. Kalista's face was buried in Arkas's back, closing his eyes tight.
Samar, the sound of Agas sighing. "Miss got me in trouble."
"I'm not pa-pa." Kalista continued to tighten her embrace. "I have no problem with Agas."
Obviously he must know what Kalista meant. Maybe it really sounded perverted but Kalista wanted Agas to hug her. Not just a hug 'don't be sad, miss' but a much more honest hug.
"Nor Agas—"
"I can't."
Kalista.
"I only serve Miss Lissa for that matter, Miss. I'm sorry." Agas turned around while pushing gently so that Kalista's embrace was released.
When Agas smiled sincerely at her, Kalista just stared blankly at Agas' eyes. Not one bit seems to be regretting the opportunity.
Not one bit did he look 'wanted' to Kalista.
"Miss said this because Miss's mood is bad" he said softly. "Because it's reassuring Miss and breakfast with me."
Kalista smiled bitterly at him. "No one really wants to be like me, right?"
Either Mama who left, Rahadyan who only had to take care of it, then Rahadyan's family, everyone around Kalista and Agas. No one wants a Kalista.
"Nothing ... from the beginning never changed my mind."
Agas just looked at him calmly without the slightest bit of refuting. He never changed his mind that Kalista was just a child who had to be taken care of until the contract ended.
No matter how many times he saw Kalista smile, no matter how many times he also smiled at Kalista, Agas never changed his mind.
"Saddening lady." Agas rubbed the cheeks of Kalista suddenly. Whispering on his face with a soft voice. "I don't want Miss, but maybe someone wants Miss."
Kalista smiled bitterly. "Who? Um Not Useful?"
As if the universe had planned—and helped by the contribution of Agas secretly—the door of Kalista's apartment was suddenly knocked.
It was followed by a familiar voice but it felt like a long time ago.
"Calistas!"
That's Sergio.
