Happy reading!
Irene still seemed doubtful about the answer she would give Ansel. Especially when the old wounds in his heart were again revealed, to create shadows in his mind, when Ansel hurt him very cruelly.
"Don't be too quick to forgive Irene! Although the child in your womb needs Ansel though, but it's too soon for you to believe him," Irene's inner self spoke.
After seeing Irene was only dumbstruck, Ansel tried to grab Irene's hand. However, the woman quickly threw him away.
"I can't forgive you now, Ansel. You better go! It's not nice to see anyway, because I'm still working."
Ansel was disappointed to hear Irene's answer, but it didn't make him give up, because he knew everything he had done was cruel to Irene. Even then, Ansel to the heart of making Irene run after the car she was driving, to make the woman almost miscarried.
"I'm sorry if I interrupted your work time, but I'll wait for you until your work is done." Ansel took off his eyes no longer looking at Irene's face, the man turned around and stepped his feet towards a chair located in the middle of the lobby.
After sitting on that chair, Ansel's eyes looked back at Irene who was still occasionally staring at her. Soon, Lucas sat next to him with a serious look on his face.
"Master, now how's your next move? If you fail to persuade Miss Irene now, I can follow her later so that we can find out where her new residence is. How's Mister?"
Ansel begins to digest what Lucas tells him. Until finally he agreed to the idea expressed by the man.
"Well Lucas, get ready in the car to follow Irene! If I don't manage to persuade her now, follow Irene and don't get away!"
Lucas develops his smile as he confirms the command Ansel gave. The man got out of the lobby to get ready in his car.
Ansel continued to closely observe what Irene was doing, still hoping that Irene would forgive him and give him the opportunity to prove that the current Ansel had changed.
"Irene, I know it's not easy to trust me after all the bad things I've done to you, but please just one time let me prove if I can make you happy," muttered Ansel while taking out a jewelry box from his suit pocket.
Meanwhile Irene from her place of work, occasionally observing Ansel who was still faithful waiting for her.
Irene's daydreams fell apart instantly as a call from a hotel visitor stood before her. Irene also kindly answered all the questions from the hotel visitors.
No time has dribbled the sun westward, a place where the greatest part of the solar system will immerse itself. His task will soon be replaced by the moon who has peeked out from behind the almost dark sky.
Irene was preparing to go home, after her work was over. There was a sense of nervousness enthroned in him at this moment as he had to give an answer to the question from Ansel. The answer greatly affected the continuity of their marriage.
"So how is this? What should I answer? I'm confused by God," Irene was still very upset to decide.
Not long after, his phone rang. The woman immediately grabbed the phone from her small bag and while staring at the screen on the phone, a smile began to expand from both corners of her lips, when her best friend's name was listed there.
"Yes, hello Nisa," Irene said, beginning her conversation.
"Irene, are you home yet?" ask her friend from across the street.
"Here I just finished, why Nisa?"
"I just wanted to tell you, if Mr. Ryan's driver Thomas was waiting for you in the hotel parking lot."
Irene immediately recalled what Nisa said to her this morning.
"It turns out to be true, Mr. Ryan sent his driver to pick me up. Nisa is very lucky to have such a good husband like Mr. Ryan. Had Ansel been like that ...." Irene did not finish the words in her heart, she immediately rejected them because she felt that all her hopes would be impossible to realize.
After ending the phone call from his best friend. Irene's gaze returned to the figure of the man who was still not moving from his place of waiting.
