Happy reading!
Irene stared at the body of her husband who was still lying limp and helpless on the sickle bed, with all parts of his face wrapped in bandages. A thread of sadness continued to drip out somehow how much he had dropped from his two unbreakable eyeballs, after spending day after day with tears. His heart was beating very fast and followed by the vibration of Irene's body which was still in disbelief seeing the state of Ansel who had earlier looked fine, but was currently lying weakly helpless, helpless, even the condition suffered blindness.
Irene, who was still in the doorway, began to strengthen herself by stepping forward, to get closer to Ansel. He stepped his legs that felt so weak, like boneless.
Slowly but surely, Irene's steps began to stop and now the woman was stunned to look at Ansel by standing at the side of the bed. Shortly afterwards, Irene sat on the bench that was available beside the bed. Irene leaned back her body for a moment, as if she still could not believe the reality she was currently seeing.
Irene tried to stop the tears that kept raining as if she did not want to stop dripping, her delicate fingers continued to wipe her face that was very wet with tears. Irene also tried to regulate her breathing that was still irregular, because of the sobbing effect of crying for too long. He continued to strengthen his heart for the sake of Ansel and the baby he was containing.
"Ansel.." said Irene who sounded so poignant.
Irene's hand moved to be able to touch the back of Ansel's hand which was currently attached to a small hose, a path for the entry of infusion fluid.
"Ansel, why is this? Why don't you drive carefully?" Irene asked who had no answer at all.
Tears began to re-dampen Irene's face that looks sad.
"You should have listened to me, not to go with them. If you stay home, everything will probably be fine, you're healthy and Amma doesn't know what you're doing to me." Irene began to hold a still weak hand, intentionally tightening her grip firmly, hoping that Ansel would wake up soon.
Before long, something happened to Ansel. His fingers slowly moved, causing Irene to immediately release her hand. Irene was stunned with a smile that began to appear on her face. "Ansel, you finally realize," he said in his heart.
Ansel still opened his eyes very slowly, feeling a pain that was so felt all over his body. But suddenly he began to be strange with his condition that could not see the light, although at this time his eyes were wide open.
"Whoever is in this room? Please turn on the lights. Why is it so dark? Where's me?" Ansel was plagued with questions that Irene had not been able to answer.
The woman was still staring pityfully at what was currently happening. He was not until the heart revealed the fact, that at this time Ansel would not be able to see again, because the cornea of his eye was damaged. But even so, he still has hope to be able to see as usual, as long as Ansel can get a corneal donor for both eyes.
Irene tried to strengthen herself while pressing on her chest tightly.
"What should I do?" irene was getting confused to talk.
"Who is that?" asked Ansel who heard the sound of sobs, began to sneak into his ear cavity.
When the question still did not get an answer from anyone, Ansel again raved with a variety of other questions.
Irene who was still sobbing tried to open her mouth, but her tongue suddenly became twisted. He was silent again, confused and kept crying, a few minutes he was still like that, but when Ansel's question began to be filled with anger, he would not answer.
"Jawab my question! Anyone who's close to me?" shouted Ansel loudly who now began to ignite anger.
"I'm sorry Ansel, I'm confused where to tell you?" lirih Irene with a sobbing voice.
Ansel gasped when the voice he first recognized was the voice of a woman he deeply hated.
"Irene! Uh, stupid why are you confused? You just turn on the lights, quickly I'm getting tired of this dark," said Ansel with a raised voice.
"At this time you're still talking as you please, can't you be a little good to me?" irene protested with a wounded inner.
"Until any time I won't change against you. You have to understand that!" ansel said that he did not care about Irene's feelings at all.
Irene cried increasingly sobbing hearing the abuse that was thrown from Ansel's mouth. The increasingly struggling roar of heart began to ignite anger, Irene was embarrassed by all the behavior of Ansel who was still boasting of her.
"Now you are blind! Can you still insult me again? Even humbling me!" Irene said with tears full of pain.
Ansel was shocked to not believe everything Irene said.
"This is impossible! This idiot must have lied to me." Ansel shook his head many times, he really felt that everything Irene said was just a mere joke.
