Ansel's head, which had been lowered, was now raised again and their eyes met. Ansel began to step closer to Dyra, but Dyra stretched out her hands directly before her.

"Don't approach me!" dyra said full of emphasis even though it sounded soft.

Ansel was stunned by Dyra's rejection, he then stopped his steps with a face that kept hoping, so that Dyra would forgive him.

"Dyra, I'm sorry I had to leave on our wedding day, but I have a reason why I should cancel our wedding. I'm really sorry to have hurt and disappointed you."

Dyra confirmed the look on her face, taking a moment of sadness that had been overshadowing her ever since seeing Ansel now back in front of her.

"I'm sorry I couldn't change things the way they were, Ansel. Now you're saying, what was the reason until you left on our wedding day?" dyra asked for an answer from Ansel.

An answer that for 3 days continues to reign in his mind, making his calm disturbed, because until now Dyra does not know what his mistake, until Ansel left him.

"Because she is pregnant with my child" Ansel said, looking at the beautiful woman standing behind her.

Ansel's words made Dyra like he was struck by lightning during the day. His heart ached, as if rolling around in the depths of the black clouds that made him lose his way to be able to get out of his current painful feeling.

After hearing Ansel's reasoning, he betrayed her. Dyra's breath felt tight to make it choked. His head shook slowly, as if he did not believe the truth that Ansel had said.

"Tell me if you're lying, Ansel. None of this is true, it must be a joke. I know very well, you are the most prankster and jahilin likes me with your joke like this, but Ansel swore, your joke this time is not funny at all." Dyra continued to fumble, with both eyeballs getting drowned out by tears.

Seeing the tears of Dyra who continued to fall nonstop, making Ansel's heart fragile and felt broken. Dyra's tears of sadness were like sharp blades piercing her heart slowly. Ansel lamented his stupidity, because he could have fucked another woman when he had planned a wedding with Dyra, the woman who had been his lover for two years.

"Ansel answered me! Please don't shut up like this, tell me that everything you said just now was just a joke, right?" hysterically shouted Dyra demanding an answer to Ansel who was still silent without a word.

Ansel could no longer hear the sobs of pain from the woman he loved. He immediately grabbed Dyra's tiny, powerless body and carried her into his arms.

Dyra immediately broke free from in Ansel's arms, she took two steps back to keep her body so close to Ansel who had betrayed her. Tears of disappointment continued to flow from both corners of Dyra's eyes, who had somehow poured out a mouthful of sadness.

"You evil Ansel, why do you have to do that? Is it my fault that you betrayed me?" ask Dyra who is now unable to control her emotions, after hearing the new truth she knows.

"Dyra, I'm khilaf. I did it because on that night I was drunk, I didn't realize why I could do it, when it was our wedding day so close. I'm really sorry, Dyra." Ansel knelt before Dyra, trying to grab Dyra's limp hands, but the woman turned away from the man who had ruined her dreams.

"I don't know what else to say to you. The point is you've made the hope I've been building fall into pieces, I can't forgive you." Dyra could no longer resist lingering on Ansel's figure before her. He decided to go back to the room to calm himself, to be away from Ansel.

Dyra ran away leaving Ansel still on his knees expecting forgiveness from him. The woman now began to climb the stairs that would take her to the second floor, where her room was located. The room that was supposed to be Dyra and Ansel's room after marriage.

"You wicked Ansel, you are the most wicked man I have ever known, where the sweet promise you made me to be faithful, live on, in fact now you betray me so easily," batin Dyra while continuing to climb the stairs towards her room
