Happy reading!
Ansel was still uncontrollably venting all the frustration over the circumstances he currently accepted. But everything changed when Dyra's voice began to slip into her ear cavity. The voice of the woman who until now is still very much loved, although it is impossible to have it again.
Darren chose to approach Irene, who inexplicably just silently stared from her place, holding back a sobbing while looking at Ansel.
"Aren't you hurt?" darren asked worried about the condition of his son-in-law at that time, who looked so claustrophobic about his sadness.
Irene did not answer him, she just shook her head in response to Darren's question to her. The woman chose to remain silent, she did not want her presence to be known by Ansel, who had expelled her rudely and did not want her existence.
"Ansel, please control yourself! Trust me everything will be fine." Dyra continued to approach Ansel, until finally when he arrived at the bedside, Ansel immediately grabbed and hugged Dyra's body tightly, making him gasp so shocked.
"Now I'm blind, I should be happy with you right now, but even all this misfortune continues to happen to me. I hate that woman, I hate her because she only brings sadness to my life." Ansel cries in Dyra's arms, he continues to fumble, blaming all that has befallen him for the presence of Irene in his life.
What heart of an unharmed woman heard her husband say such a thing. But Irene tried hard, knowing that tears would not change Ansel's judgment of her.
"I'm sorry Ansel. If I had known that our marriage would be like this, maybe I would have chosen to raise this child alone..." Irene paused her whimpering inner voice resisting the pain.
Irene wiped her tears while taking in her deep breath.
"You don't have to worry, all your wishes will happen soon. I will go all the way from her life for good" Irene decided on the path she would choose.
Darren continued to look towards Dyra and Ansel, there was a sense of jealousy coming over him. But Darren quickly denied all that.
Dyra and Darren were now staring at each other, their gazes intertwined within. Dyra seemed to send a message through the look in his eyes, which Darren could read very well, the handsome man smiled at his wife, who was currently wrapped in doubt in his heart.
"I understand Hubby. Right now I'm Ansel's mother, so I have to strengthen her, no matter what she thinks of me, what's important to me is that she's no longer the man I love, but a child I love," the inner Dyra who is now convinced of what to do.
Dyra rubbed Ansel's back gently, a motherly figure appearing here. Every word that came from Dyra's mouth, like magic that could make Ansel's anger instantly subside, even now Ansel had returned to lay his tired body on the bed.
"You must be strong and patient Ansel. Believe me, this is only temporary, later after we get an eye donor for you, you can see again. Now you rest, so that your condition does not worsen. Don't think of anything, because everything that happens to you right now is a sign that God still loves you. Think about every mistake you made, maybe God wants you to make it right. Amma and your father will try to find you a donor soon."
Dyra had covered Ansel's body with a blanket. He ordered Irene to approach him, but without a sound. Irene stepped up slowly, until now she has replaced Dyra beside the bed.
"Sleep Ansel, Amma will accompany you here." Dyra seemed to be sitting on a chair she pulled closer to Ansel, even though it was actually Irene.
Dyra began to move away to get closer to Darren, who looked so devastated, seeing the condition of his son as he is today.
"I must immediately find an eye donor who is suitable for Ansel, I do not want Ansel to be destroyed too long," said Darren staring firmly with confidence, that he will be able to find the donor.
Dyra clasped her husband's hand tightly, trying to strengthen Darren who currently looks really fragile.
"Trust me, Hubby, everything will be good again" Dyra whispered in Darren's ear, so Ansel wouldn't hear it.
The two finally decided to leave the room. They opened and closed the room door very slowly, so as not to cause a sound that could wake Ansel, who was currently closed, while continuing to hold the hand of Irene whom he thought was Dyra.
"When this grip is for me, I will be very happy for Ansel, but unfortunately it is not for me. I consider you my husband, but you consider me just your misfortune, even when the attention of my love is also heavy for you, you choose to take shelter and avoid it," Irene felt pain in the bottom of her heart.
