Belva was quieter this afternoon. He had just finished eating and returned to his room. Stand in the middle of a wide open window. Look at the people passing by on the street in front of his house. Most of the middle-aged men with sunburned and sweaty skin. Average thick mustachioed. Behind him holds a knee-high tube-shaped bamboo webbing with a diameter of approximately one meter. There was also a carrying woven bag in both of his hands. In addition, there was also a sack on his shoulder. Belva knew that they contained an abundant harvest of their own.
" The mines were partly imported into Asian countries."
That's Sagara's voice. Belva did not look. But, he can feel Sagara's arms sticking to his arms. The man stood next to her, following Belva's line of sight.
" A lot of that?" Belva is interested in Sagara's talk.
" The flowers that have been harvested will be separated between the buds and the blooming ones. The buds are usually more expensive than those that have bloomed."
Belva nodded his head. Somewhat understand by what Sagara means, "which buds to make ronce?"
Sagara nodded, "yes. If any creative person would bother to make a ronce, it could cost a hundred times the price of a kilo of buds."
Belva looked astonished, "a hundredfold? whoa!"
" Unfortunately, the people of this island are so left behind. They're not that innovative."
Too bad. With the incredible wealth of the earth like this, it should be that the people in this village could live very decent lives. But, like most people lag behind, they only think about eating. Not thinking about the future.
" You're smart, Sagara. Why don't you socialize to open up their mindset?"
Sagara shook his head, "it's not that easy. Me and them are from different groups. Our class will not help without covenant and reciprocity."
Now Belva's view is shifted to Sagara who narrowed. The man was very handsome, especially if he was smiling like now, "Sagara, are you a misleading being?"
" It can and it can't. Depends on how people look at us."
Is correct. Belva has heard of theories about belief. If someone believes something is ugly, it will be ugly. Conversely, if people believe something is good, it will be good. Perhaps, that is how creatures like Sagara lead or mislead people.
" Sagara, I'm gonna ask you something."
" What?"
" You said you would help people if there was a covenant and get reciprocity? is my status here in return for the deal that someone made to you?"
Belva sure. It's not here without reason. Especially after hearing Sagara's confession. Belva must have been used as a medium of exchange for something very valuable by someone.
" Maybe yes, maybe not. I don't know for sure. I just received an order to accompany you."
Belva was not satisfied with that answer. He hopes to know something he doesn't know. If his conjecture is correct, it is likely that Belva will be confined here forever. If not, maybe he could go back home. Meet with his brothers. Go to Papa's tomb. As well as proving to Arman and Febi, if he can live without them.
" Don't let your heart be soiled with vengeance, Belva."
" Have you heard?"
" I feel that."
If Sagara does not feel that, Belva should indeed be able to live a normal life. After all, heartache is only temporary if the owner wants to rise.
" Belva, what was your daily habit before you committed suicide?"
Sagara's question made Belva realize and almost laugh. Why did he ask like that?
" Work."
Sagara turned his head, looking at Belva right at the bead of the eye, "yes. You work at the bank."
Belva amazement. He clapped, "you're great! know where?"
" I'm a magical creature!"
" You're not connecting!"
" yes. Such is. I often don't connect when I'm in love."
Sagara nodded, "if I want to be arrogant, I can boast about it."
Belva gets more interested, he blinked his eyes, waiting for Sagara to continue. But the man was silent. Makes Belva a little upset.
" Compense, Sagara. As your girlfriend, I need to know."
" You must be surprised."
Belva is getting impatient waiting for answers from Sagara.
" I've lived in the United Kingdom."
Belva's eyes widened, "oh yeah?"
Sagara nodded, "the time of King Henry the six."
" What are you doing there?"
" I'm disguised as the son of one of Duke's toddlers."
" Insecrated?"
" The Duke's son was sick and died. I'm filling his body."
Belva could not say anything. Really am. He just looked at Sagara with a gaping mouth in disbelief.
" Don't be like that, Belva!"
Belva regained her senses, then shut her mouth. Gosh darn. Belva does not believe he can meet one of Duke's children who is still a toddler.
" How is life being Duke's son?"
" To be a pretty famous person in the world is not good."
" We're famous too?"
Sagara nodded, his eyes looking straight ahead. Given the time when he reached the peak of his highest career. And when he got bored, he left the Duke's body.
" In those days, the people who lived in the royal area were quite famous."
" What was your name at the time?"
" Abraham."
" You're so cool!"
" It's not as cool as you might think, Belva."
After knowing Sagara had become a famous person in the fourteenth century, Belva became proud to be able to melt a handsome and powerful man like Sagara.
" Why are you smiling to yourself?"
Belva's realising, " huh? no, no, no."
Sagara laughs. Making Belva surprised instead of playing. Sagara is very handsome when he laughs. He even just saw Sagara laughing so loosely like this. God, if time can stop, please stop right now. Because, the man next to Belva is so beautiful if it's like that.
The next five seconds, Belva felt something strange. The birds flying in the sky suddenly stopped. Similarly, the leaves that sway in the wind. Sagara turned his head to look at observing this situation strangely. Belva couldn't believe that he could control time. Time changes because he said it in his heart, right?
From the direction of Lintang house, Bhumi and Lintang ran and stopped right between the fence of Belva and Sagara house. They both look surprised. Then, Bhumi glanced at Belva along with the presence of light so fast, enveloped Belva's body and vanished. Belva vanished in just one blink of an eye. As fast as light. Then, the lightning roared boisterously.
Sagara had not yet pulled Belva, and the woman had now vanished in just one blink of an eye. Swallowed light. Now, the man fell limp, looking at the place where Belva was standing. His chest is painful and he wants to be angry.
