My Love From The Sea

My Love From The Sea
Flashback Meeting

" What's your name?"

Belva stopped his steps after hearing Sagara's question. How could the man not know his name all this time. As he remembered, they had known him for a week. And Sagara just asked his name? Holy hooch!

An upset Belva let the man leave him on the path where on the right-hand side there are ponds and early in the morning, there are many people working there. Some sow food, some harvest fish, laws, even eels.

" Why stop?" The conscious Sagara immediately turned around and walked closer to Belva.

" Why did you ask me my name?" Belva. He talks but throws his face away while crossing.

" Do you think every meeting should ask a name?"

Belva dislikes Sagara's habit of asking, "yes."

" Let's repeat our meeting!" sagara's eyes look bright. The man grabbed Belva's hand and pulled her to continue on towards the beach.

Sagara is planning to go to the beach since yesterday. But, seeing Belva intermittently sleeping, he did not have the heart to leave. Her father said the woman needed to be guarded. So, Sagara decided to stay near Belva as long as she slept. And when he said he wanted to go to the beach, Belva's reaction was unexpected. The woman looked very happy, so happy until she woke up very early. Even before the sun comes up.

And now, they have walked quite far through the path where the ponds are replaced with tall mangroves. The atmosphere here is very cool because sunlight cannot freely penetrate the dense leaves that protect the soil mixed with sand in the area to keep it moist.

Sagara still holds Belva through mangrove gardens whose paths are narrower than the streets in ponds and jasmine gardens. Here, they must be careful not to slip and get into the big, tall mangrove roots that grow.

" Sagara, is there no other way but through here?" Belva asked, realizing that the road was so terrible. But, why did that time not feel this scary? is it because Belva doesn't have full consciousness after drowning?

" Why are you protesting so much?"

Not getting an answer, Belva chose silence. Tired of talking to Sagara.

Before long, Belva heard the sound of waves pounding. That is, they are close. Even ten steps later, Belva can see the water chasing from a distance.

" Well..." Belva muttered, amazed. This is Belva's second time here. But, this time he could see how beautiful the scenery ahead was. The pink sand like his favorite color makes Belva eyes increasingly praise the beauty of nature in front of him.

But, why did Belva realize that the first place to wake up had pink sand?

They've been on the coast. Standing looking at the vast expanse of the ocean. Enjoy the waves chasing the bare feet. Every now and then the waves pull Belva and Sagara's feet forward. Make Belva stagger and hold Sagara's arm so as not to fall.

" So let's get started," Sagara opened the conversation. It was lucky for Belva because the man did not open it with questions.

" Start what?" Belva doesn't know where Sagara's talking is going.

Belva immediately understood, "where can it be!"

A second after saying that, Belva felt the waves getting bigger. Lunging. Enveloped him. Pulling her into the middle in the arms. Belva tried to ask for help. But, his voice was held back. Sagara where? Why did the man not take care of her. Didn't Sagara say that his father said Sagara should protect him? But where is he? If he could read Belva's feelings, he should be here. Because Belva was so scared. Especially when it starts to sink. The breath gasps, like a fish that is too long to be dried on land.

Belva never thought he would experience this again. Drowning in the deep ocean. Dark and empty. Frighteningly. Coldness. Belva closed her eyes. Already resigned to the death that might pick him up. But, he is still conscious. Even very conscious. His brain can still think. His ears can still hear. His eyes and mouth could not move.

Suddenly, a hand grabbed his wrist that was starting to pale. Sontak Belva remembered something he saw in the depths of Sagara's eyes that time. He was sure that what attracted him was a half-fish, half-human creature that was very beautiful. Belva felt his body rise so fast that he could feel oxygen slowly heading towards his lungs. But, it seems like the quantity of water in there is more so that Belva feels short of breath.

Belva felt laid on the hot sand. Soon, it was replaced with an object that was not too hard but felt cool. Belva did not know what it was because although she could feel it, her eyes and mouth could not function properly.

Belva's heart was pounding very quickly when he felt a breath on his face. The gust was sea-scented. The longer it feels closer. Belva really did not understand something so crazy in him. The feeling is warm and very calm. Suddenly... Belva felt something touching her lips and pressed against her chest. Before long, Belva opened her eyes. Surprised not to play when he realized he was no longer lying down. Instead of already sitting, facing Sagara with lips that are linked to each other.

Five seconds. But it feels so long. Sagara pulled his head away. As sinless as it was, the man reviewed a thin smile that was very mysterious.

" What's your name, man?"

Belva was silent. Sculpting. Not yet aware of what just happened. Sagara kissed her? Did he do the same at the time?

" What's your name, man?" Sagara asked again. This time, Belva blinked her eyes.

" Eh... huh? Belva Anindira," Belva answered with a sigh.

" What do I need to call you?" ask Sagara again. Very calm.

" Belva."

" all right. Belva Anindira's. I just need to call you Belva" Sagara repeated what he just found out. Then continued, "Dad is Belva," he cried out toward the vast ocean before him.

Belva doesn't know what Sagara's doing. Clearly, he still could not believe what he had just experienced. Sinking back to the bottom of the sea is no fun thing. But, knowing the fact that someone who pulled his arm at that time was Sagara, Belva felt indebted. And.. realized if Sagara kissed him.the meaning of giving artificial breath by gluing the lips makes Belva's heart so jumbled.

" My name is Raden Mas Agung Sagara Banyu Biru."

Belva. Coinciding with Sagara who also turned towards him.

" So, are you hungry?"
