“Mel, have all the files been brought?” ask Cheryl when she's in the car with Mely.
Cheryl has returned to the company as usual, having previously been granted leave due to illness. That afternoon before work ended, Cheryl was about to meet with a client.
“All of them, Mom. You don't worry,” Mely replied after confirming if everything had been brought.
Cheryl nodded and could sit quietly. He and Mely ride in a car driven by a driver, Cheryl feels safer this way because of the condition of her body that is not healthy due to starting to experience morning sicknes.
“True here?” ask Cheryl looking at the cafe where the client wants to meet.
“Iya, because you refused to meet at the hotel, so the client requested at this cafe which is close to the hotel where previously made the appointment,” Mely replied.
Cheryl went down with Mely, then walked into the cafe. When he had just opened the door of the cafe, a waiter had already greeted them.
“Happy da .. tang.” The waiter who was none other than Orion, looked surprised when he saw the visitor who came was Cheryl.
Cheryl was no less surprised, to stand while staring at Orion who was standing a bit away from her.
“Bu.” Mely rebuked because Cheryl was standing in the doorway.
Cheryl turned to Mely, then chose to go in first and find a seat.
Orion was a little misbehaved, probably because he was caught working in a cafe instead of studying as Cheryl had said before.
Cheryl herself was speechless, only to see Orion walking closer to her desk.
“What message do you want?” asked Orion while giving the menu book to the table. His hand was already holding a small book to take notes.
“Bu, you want to order coffee as usual?” ask Mely.
Orion immediately turned to Cheryl when he heard Mely offered coffee, up from the young man's gaze as if tossed ‘don't drink coffee.’
Cheryl also looked at Orion, looking at the young man who was her husband as if giving her a gesture. Cheryl looked awkwardly at Mely who was looking at the menu book.
“I drink juice only, but not orange juice,” Cheryl replied. Orange juice will remind you of the events of that night.
“What juice do you want?” mely asked while looking at Cheryl.
Cheryl was even confused about what juice, to turn to Orion as if asking for an opinion to the young man.
“Jus watermelon mix strawberries only, also I recommend not too sweet,” Orion said as if to offer, whereas he was giving a choice because Cheryl began to often nausea. Watermelon itself can slightly relieve nausea.
“Alright, I'm it,” Cheryl said as she offered Orion.
Mely was even astonished, why her boss's behavior was a little strange.
Finally Orion records Mely's order as well, then prepares and presents it to Cheryl's desk.
“Good to enjoy,” says Orion.
Cheryl just nodded, looking at the young man who was her husband now working in the cafe, inexplicably making a strange feeling appear in her heart.
Cheryl met her clients, they talked about cooperation. Orion himself focused on working, but occasionally noticed Cheryl who was talking and sometimes smiling. Cheryl's smile never fails to make something tickle in Orion's heart.
“Good, we will soon prepare the cooperation file. I hope everything goes smoothly,” Cheryl said as the meeting ended.
“I'm waiting to hear from you,” said the female client Cheryl met.
“We go straight back to the company, Mom? It's already afternoon,” Mely said.
Cheryl glanced at Orion who was cleaning the table, before then looking at Mely who was tidying up the file.
“Mel, you go back to the company first. I have a business for a while and maybe go straight home,” Cheryl said.
Mely was surprised that Cheryl asked him to return to the company alone, but also did not ask or argue and chose to follow Cheryl's words.
Mely returns to the company, leaving Cheryl sitting there alone.
Cheryl turned to Orion who was still cleaning the table as soon as Mely was gone. He wondered why Orion worked instead of studying.
“You didn't return to the company?” orion asked as he approached Cheryl's desk.
He spoke as he tidied up the dirty glasses and dishes on the table.
“Why do you work?” Cheryl asked the question, without answering the young man's question.
Orion stopped wiping the table, turning to look at Cheryl who had been looking at him.
“I'm just a fad, good enough for extra pocket money,” Orion replied lying.
Cheryl certainly did not believe it, to ask her husband to sit there.
“Your father did not cut off your financial resources, ‘kan? If true, why not tell me? I can help you if you need money?” asked Cheryl who accidentally paid attention to Orion.
Orion smiles at Cheryl who seems attentive, but he does not want to be big-headed by assuming that Cheryl's question is a concern.
“No, Papa didn't cut my finances. I myself really want to work part time,” Orion replied reassuring Cheryl.
Cheryl does not necessarily believe it just like that, but also does not want to ask a lot of things if Orion does not want to tell a story first.
Cheryl looked at the circular watch on her wrist, then looked back at Orion.
“What time do you come home?” ask Cheryl.
“If it's not too crowded, maybe ten o'clock. If it is crowded, it can be eleven,” Orion replied while observing the room in the cafe.
“So, last night you came home late because of work?” ask Cheryl again to make sure.
Yesterday after Orion had accompanied Cheryl to lunch, the young man had permission to leave and said that there was a task to be done in a group. However, who would have thought if that was just the reason for Orion, because in reality the young man went to work part time and Cheryl now already knows it.
“Yes,” Orion replied with a sweet smile on the face, even the dimples of her cheeks looked beautiful and added to the good looks of the young man.
Cheryl cleared her throat to see Orion smile, for some reason she was being misbehaved.
“What's your working hour done?” orion asked Cheryl because she didn't return to the company.
“Ya,” Cheryl replied briefly.
“Then go home, then rest,” Orion said attentively.
Cheryl looked at Orion who was very mature for her, and then she said, “I still want to be here, can I sit here longer?”
