"It seems that for that one, I can't tell you, Mr. Marcello. Let only me know," said Dian with a bowed face.
"But, however, Marissa deserves to know who her biological father is, Dian," said Marcello with a face upset because the woman was not willing to tell who Marissa's real father was.
"I'll tell you, if I'm ready."
Marcello kneaded his temple with his eyes closed. However, it is Dian's right not to tell her past stories to anyone, including her. Dian got up from his seat, he approached Marcello's chair and bent his knees there.
"Mr Marcello, today I ask for mercy from you. I beg you now, don't tell this to Marissa. I'm not ready if Marissa should hate me for my past deeds, Master!" he cupped his hands to his chest. Nor did he stop crying, asking for mercy from Marcello.
"Then, when did you tell Marissa the truth, Dian? There's no way, right, you're going to keep this from him?"
"As I said earlier. I'll tell you everything when I'm ready with the consequences I'll receive afterwards" Dian replied.
"But our marriage is only a week away. I hope you told Marissa the truth before our wedding day, Dian."
Dian fell silent again and thought about whether she could tell Marissa that before their wedding day.
Right at that moment Marissa entered the room while watching her surroundings. He felt astonished because Bi Ani with her eyes moist, bent knees in front of Marcello.
"What's this?" marissa asked in surprise as she approached Bi Ani and helped the woman stand up.
"Ehm, it's nothing. We just had a normal conversation. Yeah, isn't it, Bi Ani?" sahut Marcello panicked as he glanced at Bi Ani.
Marcello turned the screen back on and closed it so Marissa could not see the video.
"Yes, Son. What Mr. Marcello said was true" Bi Ani continued, wiping away her tears.
Marissa still doesn't believe it. Especially after seeing such an unusual sight, as he had just seen. He looked at the faces of the men who were standing not far from him. Then switch to Marcello who looks awry. The man continued to stroke his nape while smiling wryly looking at him.
"You're suspicious, Mr. Marcello!" marissa said as she narrowed her eyes looking at the man.
"Oh come on, Marissa. Nothing's happening here, we're just talking as usual. Even Bi Ani just admitted it," he said.
Marissa turned her gaze to Bi Ani who was standing right before her. "Is that true, Bi Ani? They're not threatening you, are they?" ask Marissa while glancing at Joe and his Bodyguard.
Bi Ani tried to smile even though her eyes were still puffy. "Yes, Son. They're not threatening Auntie, are they."
Marcello grabbed a glass filled with drinking water on his desk. He quickly spilled the contents of the glass onto the carpet, where Bi Ani had been gathered.
"Who said Bi Ani was knee-jerk? He was cleaning up my spilled drinking water because he accidentally snubbed. If you don't believe me, look!" marcello said as he pointed at the carpet that was still wet.
Now Marissa's gaze was fixed on the carpet and then grabbed Bi Ani's body and took the woman out of Marcello's room.
Ohhhhh!!!
All the men in the room breathed a sigh of relief after Marissa came out of there and did not prolong the matter.
"You may be happy, but my life is still in danger! I'm afraid the woman extended our problem to the top of the bed" Marcello murmured.
Meanwhile, the,
Marissa led the woman to her room and sat her on the edge of the bed. Marissa also brought drinking water for Bi Ani which was located on the nightstand.
"Bi, tell Marissa the truth. What has Mr Marcello and his men done to Bibi?" asked Marissa who was now crouching in front of Bi Ani's feet.
"Nothing, Son. What Mr. Marcello said is true. We were just talking about ordinary problems and Bibi accidentally nudged her drink glass" said Bi Ani.
Marissa took a deep breath. He relented and chose to believe what Bi Ani had said.
"If they do something to Auntie, don't hesitate to talk to Marissa. Let Marissa fight them! After all, Mr. Marcello will not dare to mess with Marissa, really," said Marissa.
Bi Ani smiled. He noticed Marissa's beautiful eyes that were so similar to his father's. He gently stroked Marissa's face while speaking.
"May we always be happy, son. Aunt always wishes you the best."
"Thank you, Bi." Marissa got up then hugged Bi Ani's body tightly.
"Mom doesn't know how you react once you know that Mom is your real mother, Marissa. Could it be that Mom can still feel the warmth of your embrace?" inner Bi Ani.
