Chapter 3

I'm waiting for Love in the car in the basement parking lot. He said he wanted to go to the toilet for a while. I saw Love smiling as she walked out of the meeting room. Either this is due to successfully signing an advertising contract with BTS or there is another reason. Could he be an army? Ah why am I thinking about that refrigerator girl.

While waiting for Love, suddenly my phone rang. There's a video call from Jessica. I hesitated to pick it up but I finally decided to take the call because a few days ago I always missed the call, there is only a reason I made because honestly I did avoid connecting again with the woman who has officially become my noon.

I pressed the green button and Jessica appeared on the screen.

" HEY AIDAN? "

Just hooked up, Jessica yelled at me. I know he must be upset because I never responded to his call or Jona hyung.

I immediately drew my smile as naturally as possible.

There were two feelings I felt after hearing Jona hyung's statement. On one hand I love to hear Jessica and Jona hyung look happy but on the other hand I feel sad when I hear Jessica crying because she misses my voice. I know his longing is only limited to a sister not like me who misses him as a man who misses his lover who can no longer reach him. But may I be happy to hear that Jessica misses me too?

" Ah hyung why are you talking about that? I don't want to avoid it, I'm really busy. I just met BTS for an advertising contract."

" BTS? Bangtan Sonyeondan?" Ask Jessica enthusiastically.

I didn't realize I'd immediately pull my smile reading Jessica's second message.

" Any Jessica." I muttered which then continued reading the message that was still not open.

No half-hearted is indeed my noona on this one. 15 incoming messages just because I hung up the phone without her consent. It all contained scolding and kepo questions.

* Aidan? Answer it. Are you really busy or what?

* Loe said I met BTS, right? Dong story with noona loe's. I also like BTS.

* Hey, you're not avoiding me with Kim, are you?

" To be honest, I'm avoiding you guys because I'm having a hard time getting rid of Jess. But I'm happy to see you're happy too."

" Loe again got a problem?" He asked, and then took another sip of coffee in his hand.

Of all the hours I was with Cinta all day, care questions like the one she just asked was the first time. I don't think he likes to talk about anything other than work.

Love looked at me for a moment, looking into my eyes with a gaze I could not understand. Honestly, her gaze just now made me a little uncomfortable.

" Loe can make some examples of designs for the latest snack cover that we will use for collab with BTS?"

" okay. Make at least three designs for tomorrow, will you?"

" So this is my first assignment at Star Food? "

Love nodded her head.

" okay. Can I have an initial design for inspiration?" My toot.

" I'll send you an email soon. Oh yes save my number. Send me your email address." He gave me his business card.

I immediately carried out his orders.

" I sent you the original design. I just want to let you know that my team rarely makes mistakes, so you must be able to do all the tasks perfectly including sending the results of your work according to the schedule that you have been able to." His word.

Actually I could have gone home but since I don't have any friends in Korea yet, I would have been stranded in my room alone. I immediately opened my laptop and just started doing my first assignment for Star Food.

It didn't feel like an hour had passed, I was about to finish one design. I was still fully concentrated on working on it while occasionally sipping on my caramel machiato that was already half-living.

I am indeed a typical person who if working on something will focus on what I do, often do not even pay attention around. And without me knowing it, I was surprised when suddenly Love was sitting next to me watching what I was doing.

" Loe why I like it so much I'm surprised. What if I hang?" Omelku on Love.

He nodded his small head then stood up without giving me any explanation that already looked puzzled.

" Loe still wants to be here or something? I'm going home." He said and then prepared to leave.

" Wait for Love." My words that he doesn't care about. Love just left me.

" A cruel girl, I've been waiting for her and she left me." Omelku himself because Love has disappeared behind the door.

When I was tidying up my work, the door suddenly opened again.

" Loe's design is pretty cool." Say Love then go again.

I was confused by her behavior but before long I pulled a misbehaved smile because of her sudden praise.
