Isadora stared at the screen of her phone many times. Hope someone she calls picks up the call. But until the fifth call, the call did not get an answer.
Although disappointed, but the woman still thinks positively. Maybe the daughter-in-law is busy, that's how she thinks.
"Somber kok mam? Not in the same room as Jess?" Guess the husband looked at his wife.
That lethargic nod explained the meaning of his wife's pouting face. The beautiful face of the bule made him unable to turn away, even though he was no longer young.
"Maybe Jess went to the parlor. Mama knows how Jess loves her sisters there. Their house would be deserted if Kent went to work. Let's hope we get some good news in the next two months." Comfort the husband calms his wife's heart.
"Papa's right. I don't know why they don't want to put workers at home. So Jess wouldn't feel so lonely in that big house." Tomo just smiled as he shook his head slowly. His wife always protested if she visited their daughter-in-law's house.
Kent and Jess accidentally hire a day worker. Privacy reasons, both agreed not to keep ART stay at home.
"Do you think their marriage is okay papa? Mama was just a little worried, afraid of making the wrong decision. This arranged marriage was too sudden even though Kent did not refuse at all." Isadora looks worried.
Tomo rubbed the golden-yellow mane fondly.
"They will adapt well. It takes time but they're fine. Do not worry too much about something that has not happened, it can be like prayer if you think too often. Jess looked good the last time she visited home. It means their marriage doesn't matter." Isadora nodded in confirming.
But deep down, the woman still doubted the meaning of the word fine. She was sure Jess, her daughter-in-law, was hiding something behind her shady smile, which looked soothing.

Alissa was seen crying in her father's arms. The little girl didn't want her father to leave again. But Kent had to go home. If it was before he married Jess, he could have stayed there for days. But now his status is different.
He did not want to add a new list of problems, but apparently the child did not understand the situation.
"Papa's coming back tomorrow, okay?" But Kent's words are only wind and then in the child's ears. The little girl was crying so hard.
Kent looks at Melisa hoping the woman will help him to persuade Alisa. But Melisa seems to deliberately let Alisa continue to cry.
"Mails? Try to persuade Eli. I really need to go now. Tomorrow morning I have an important meeting with a client." Pinta Kent pleaded for the woman's understanding.
Melisa took a deep breath, before finally trying to grab the child's body from Kent's sling.
"Your mommy is yuk. Papa has to get back to work, so he can buy Eli lots of toys and princess clothes." But Eli again refused and a little rebellious to almost fall if Kent was not alert.
"I can't force Kent, why don't you just take Eli with you. Maybe Eli's presence can help you explain a little bit about where we are with Jess." Kent stared intently at Melisa.
The man felt Melisa had started to carelessly arrange it. And Kent doesn't like dissident women.
"Sorry." Melisa's great-grandson looked down in fear.
Hearing the mother's sentence, suddenly made Eli's cry slightly subside. The girl whined to be taken with her. In her silence, Melisa pulled the corner of her lips faintly.
Kent gave a long sigh. There's no way she's taking Alissa home, where Jess also lives.
"Can't be darling, papa's house is still not renovated. It's still a mess and there's no room for you. Here alone, Eli has a nice room, doesn't he? Go to the mall, buy whatever Eli wants. How's it?" The girl was silent though occasionally still looked as hiccuped.
Staring at the mother who looks disappointed at Kent's rejection of his daughter. But the woman still nodded with a smile, looking at the same disappointed face as herself.
Alissa finally moved to her mother's arms. Kent breathed a sigh of relief. The man was saying goodbye as usual. After kissing the child's face, Kent did not forget to kiss Melisa's forehead.
While Eli billed a promise to shop as much as the father said. The two left shortly after Kent left their residence.
Along the way, Kent contemplated the nature of his life that was not as smooth as his career.
A lot of things happened out of his control, and he seemed to let it happen just like that. Like accepting his marriage to Jess even though he had never known her before.
Kent decides on the unilateral decision, without talking it over with Melisa first. And now he's stuck in a complicated situation. Among his wife Jess, also his daughter and Melisa.
The responsibility automatically increases. There's Jess in her life circle right now who can't be ignored. But in another city, there was a child and a faithful woman waiting for his arrival with longing.
"We stopped by sir?" Kent flinched from his daydream. Staring at the end of the road which is apparently the rest area.
"Almost for a minute, I need to go to the restroom." The driver nodded obediently.
Kent went down to a hawker shop. The man bought some food typical of the area as souvenirs for his wife, Jess. She knew Jess loved the food. Cake syringe, banana chips and dodol.
There was a smile rising on his lips, while recalling the woman's ridiculous behavior. Jess clandestinely buys the food at a roadside stall, then says it's a mother's order.
In fact, Jess only gave half of it, the rest of the woman was stored in a drawer in her room. Jess doesn't want to make Kent ashamed of his lonely tastes.
"Are there again sir?" Kent shook his head slowly then took his grocery bag. The man gave more money to the merchant. Making the old woman smile happily and shout in thanks. Kent simply raised his hand to respond without turning his head.

Jess arrives at her house at 8 p.m. Remember if Kent doesn't come home, make it a little freer to go home anytime.
But arriving at home. The woman was astonished by her husband's car. Even though her heart is still tight, Jess still tries to look calm.
While passing through the living room, a voice made Jess step to a halt.
"I think I'm the one who just arrived. You're busier than I am." Jess shook her head to hear the words in the tone of the innuendo. It's not his fault Kent went home first. Didn't the man say he wasn't coming home tonight?
"I just got home from the home. I don't think you're going home like you said this morning. Have you had dinner?" Jess switched the topic, their conversation would only create a sense of unease for the two.
"You think?" Jess looked at the dining table. The woman let out a long sigh and walked towards the kitchen.
Jess never asked about her husband's favorite food. Kent devoured whatever was presented at the table without much question let alone protest. And that was enough to make Jess' heart calm.
After struggling to make a simple dinner, Jess arranged it on the table. Kent approached as usual without being asked. I don't know what kind of relationship they are in. Everything was stiff and there was no warmth in it.
"I bought you a little souvenir. I put it on the kitchen table." Jess glanced at a glance. He saw it but asked nothing.
"Thank you." Jess just sat down to enjoy her chocolate milk. He was full, but as usual. Jess will accompany Kent to a meal until the man is done. There is no sentence to ask why Jess did not eat, as it has become commonplace.
After dinner, Kent leaves the dinner table without a word. Climb the stairs with wide steps but this time it feels a little heavy.
There was a desire to start a conversation with his wife, but the atmosphere was awkward and stiff. Makes Kent undo his intentions.
Jess cleans up the exes of her husband's meal. In silence Jess hopes their marriage will end soon according to the agreement they have signed together. She can't stand it for long, it feels like torture but Jess can't explain what happened to her.
