Not the Second Wife!

Not the Second Wife!
Chapter 61

I am back again readers 🤗🤗🤭

...----------------...

The fierce debate stopped immediately when a woman's voice interjected.

"Please stop your debate, I beg you." Lirih Jess who seems to have realized since. The woman chose to gather all awareness, as well as her energy while listening word by word that was thrown out of the mouths of the two men.

That's what Jess feels right now. Yet the woman suppressed the pain that was creeping through her heart with a calm expression.

Kent stared wistfully at his wife's thin face with a pounding heart. His mind raged, whether the wife heard all their debates or even knew the root of the problem.

With a slow step, Kent approached the wife's bed with a feeling of anxiety.

"Dear, thank you for coming home. I miss you, " Kent said withholding the tightness of having hurt his wife accidentally.

As she was about to land a longing kiss on Jess' forehead, the woman reflexively turned her head. So that makes Kent stunned. The man knew his wife was trying to avoid his touch. Although saddened by Jess's rejection, Kent still tried to smile to welcome the wife's consciousness.

Sadam stared intensely at the stiff interaction between the cousin and his wife. The man grinned triumphantly. Sadam approached Jess' bed with a big smile.

"Finally you found your way home. It must be because of the emergency signal I sent all this time, right? you're apparently afraid that your two children will get a stepmother." Kekeh Sadam grabbed Jess' skinny fingers.

Kent's jaw hardened perfectly, his fist tightening as if preparing to hit someone. Sadam deliberately provoked his emotions with the innuendo.

"Look, you have to eat a lot after this. You're too thin" said Sadam, laughing crisply. The man was just trying to carve a sweet smile on Jess' paled lips.

"Where are my kids, Dam?" ask Jess to switch the topic.

"They're at home baby, mama's asking that the twins be treated at home." It was not Sadam who answered him, but Kent who replied before Sadam could open his mouth.

Kent sat on the side of the bed because there was only one chair now sat by Sadam. Sadam had just called the nurse through the emergency button attached to Jess' bed.

"Are they okay without me, Dam?" again, Jess asks Sadam about her children. It made Kent's heart ache but the man did not dare to protest.

"They're good, your two children have a lot of people who love them. So just focus on yourself. You have to recover in order to meet both of your adorable babies." Sadam smiled warmly.

Kent simply stared at the interaction by holding back the various chaotic feelings in his mind. How else, Jess wouldn't look at him at all.

"Excuse me?" greet a female doctor who was followed by two nurses behind her.

"It could be my second home." Dr. Ratih's timpal, a woman in her 40s, was following slowly.

"Hi Jess, how are you? you look like you're shining like the sun in the scorching sky out there." Jess smiled at the doctor's speech that looked very friendly.

"I'm a good doctor, thanks for taking care of me." Jess replies with a sweet smile behind her pale lips.

"That's my duty, besides there are many doctors who handle you as long as you fall asleep. I'm one of them, and I'm lucky to be able to exchange words with you in person." Said Dr. Ratih while doing an examination of Jess.

"You still need a few days to get back home. We'll do our best so you can leave this room with all the details." Doctor Ratih's joking laughs.

After completing the examination, Jess is now back in mute mode. The woman occasionally glanced at the woman who was sitting on the sofa and without the slightest intention to leave from there.

Jess accidentally saw the shirt worn by her husband exactly the same as the one worn by the woman. His heart laughed. So impatient was Kent waiting for him to wake up? whether the man's love is only limited to his consciousness, and will fade when he withered and helpless.

Jess started thinking rationally. Perhaps true, a grown man who had felt the beauty of heaven. Will not be able to hold back longer without the touch of a woman. He will learn to let go, then slowly let go.

From the beginning, their relationship was a mistake. It will end now because of a mistake.

"You want me to take a bribe?" sadam interrupted Jess' daydream. The man volunteered to feed Jess the food that a nurse had just delivered.

Jess shook her head slowly, not forgetting the thin smile that described kink.

"I'll eat when I want, you can go home Dam. I'm fine now, thank you for taking your time for this sick woman. You've bothered me too much, I'm embarrassed to remember your kindness." Jess says rejects subtle.

"Ck, I'm not someone else. Anyway I'm glad to be able to help you, counting up I can learn to be a standby husband when I get married. I already know what I should do, and someday if something bad happens to my wife, I understand that I have to have patience to be a loyal man." Sadam's reply was full of satire.

Kent, who was sitting on a single sofa, felt slapped by the sentence of his cousin. The man glanced at the wife then at Flora who had been staring at her ever since. Kent felt insinuated many times by the cousin's lemes mouth.

"Sorry to interrupt, I'm sorry and sorry if my presence has made a misunderstanding happen. I really don't mean to be the third person, but who can resist the feelings that come secretly without being asked. Moreover Kent gave me quite a wide space, so I easily entered into his heart. I know my words might hurt you, Jess, but you need to know. I'm the one who's always been there when Kent was devastated by the circumstances, I've always been there for him. And Kent accepted my presence with open arms, I never forced myself. It was Kent himself who drew me further into his life. Your husband likes me, that's a fact you have to accept now. Your husband's heart is not just yours, but it's divided for me. Like it you don't have to be willing to share, because I'm not just going to let go of my love."

Flora's long sentence made Jess' head throb violently, while Sadam clenched tightly his hand holding in anger. Kent's? the man was stunned to hear the long confession from Flora's mouth. The woman apparently harbored high hopes for their closeness all along.

Why regret always comes at the end of the problem. Kent was completely trapped by the circumstances and didn't know how to end it
