Morning greet again, through the gap of curtains. The light of the sun hit the pretty face of a woman in her bed.

Jess squirms, finding the morning has come. The woman rushed to clean up before finally returning to her usual daily routine.

Kent had apparently woken up first. The man was seen sitting on the family room couch watching the morning news.

Jess just passed her husband. Start cooking all the ingredients to make breakfast.

Jess decides to make scrambled eggs and mix them with hot rice. It's like fried rice but not cooked. Just mix it with stirring until mixed evenly.

Cucumber slices are also fried chicken slices on top as appetizing complements.

"Make me lunch." Jess stopped her mouth, making her spoon float not to her tiny mouth.

"All right." There's no rebuttal. As usual, Jess always obeyed whatever Kent told her.

"When lunch comes to the office, I don't like cold food." Again, Jess was silent. This time I did not answer. It's a little weird about that sudden request.

"You hear me?" Jess nods when she sees Kent's unsettled gaze towards her.

"Isn't there a microwave in the office? OG can heat it up when you're having lunch." Push Jess smooth. This is Jess' first rejection after getting married three months ago.

Kent stopped his breakfast and looked at his indifferent wife while enjoying his breakfast.

"Is it that hard to follow my request? Just delivering Jess' lunch, God! I'm doing this because today papa is going to pay a visit to the company. I want to make a good impression on our marriage. I don't want you to visit my workplace either. I don't like distractions, including serving your presence. Cooperate this time, for the good of everyone." Cerocos Kent doesn't like to be denied.

Her tone that sounded thin and straightforward made Jess sculpt. Stupidly, she thought Kent was trying to fix their marriage. Geez! Jess wants to laugh out loud when she realizes how naive she is.

The arrogant man didn't like someone to argue with him. It was kind of a rebellion for Kent and he hated it so much.

Jess feeds her last feed. The woman drank in a graceful style and seemed to buy time.

Kent looks impatient, but can't show it now.

"Alright, I hope my presence will not be a distraction for you later. I don't want to be the cause of your declining quality of work because of the presence of a woman like me." After throwing out that poignant sentence, Jess took her plate to the sink.

There was a clear crystal that he was trying to bend, so as not to be careless out of his two beautiful eyes.

Kent moved from his chair to make a loud creaking sound. Jess knew the man felt stifled by her words. Jess doesn't care.

Seeing Kent's car leaving the yard, Jess cries loudly. The crying she had already endured during their three months of marriage.

A cry full of deep heartache. His fingers crept down the side of the sink to channel the pain, which he kept alone. His body trembled violently, a sense of tightness squeezed his chest to accept all the attitudes and treatment of Kent so far.

While in his car, Kent was seen staring at the side of the road. The morning atmosphere was full of frenzied vehicles, did not make Kent feel disturbed.

His mind wandered far away somewhere. The assistant could only take a quick glance, but did not dare to say anything. The driver just silently drove his car without daring to make a sound.

There was a sense of tightness when he saw the glassy bead in front of him earlier. But Kent immediately dismissed the sense of pity that began to disturb the calmness of his heart.

"Have you prepared my divorce papers, Dit?" Aditya, the assistant just nodded in the front seat with a glance.

"I want to stay in the apartment for the last three months. Maybe once in a while I'll go home, if mom and dad visit. Another time I'll give you to visit my daughter, Eli. Set my schedule for the next three months, I want my time not to be much for work. After all this drama is over, I will re-focus only on my daughter as well as the company. Prepare enough compensation for Jess. I want her life to be secure after we're apart."

But what power is, the Kent commandment is absolute and irrefutable.

"Okay, sir, I've been preparing the files for the past week. Here's the compensation money as well as some other assets that are intended for Miss Jess." Tukas Aditya though with a heavy heart.

No more talking. Arriving at Kent's office doing the usual activities. The workaholic man was busy struggling with a pile of files on his desk. Unaware of the many video calls from Melisa.

The knock on the door diverts Kent's attention. He saw his father smiling warmly at him. The middle-aged man who still looks beautiful and friendly entered the room of the child.

"Does papa bother you, son?" Kent shook his head quickly and approached his father.

Kent's warm embrace gave the father. Then he took his father to sit on the sofa.

"Papa's seen you've been overtime a while lately. Is there a problem in the company?" Kent shook his head again quickly, he knew it was the angler's line. And Kent doesn't want to get stuck any deeper.

"No pa, I'm just preparing some files for a new project in Bandung. So a little busy lately." Kent's light on the father.

Tomo just nodded in understanding. Then look around the room of the child who used to be his work space. But now his position has reached the highest peak in the company. Tomo occupies the seat of a chairman.

"This room hasn't changed much. You seem to like the design a lot. All of this is the work of your mother's hand. The stubborn woman designed a feel that she thought would make someone feel at home while working in it. It has a relaxing effect and always feels like home. Your mama's a unique woman, but papa loves her very much." Tomo's story while reminiscing about the past.

Kent fell silent. He knew there was meaning in the long words of his father, who he was trying to convey to him. But Kent chose not to respond further.

"Mama has good taste. A good home woman but a little coercive." Kent's words chuckled little followed by Tomo.

The two then began to talk about many things about work, as well as new projects that Kent worked on.

Until the conversation was interrupted by the presence of Jess. Tomo smiled happily when he saw the presence of the son-in-law. The man even had lunch with his son and daughter-in-law.

The cuisine is simple but makes Tomo can't stop opening his mouth.

"Thank you baby, you're always good at making a full stomach. You should be grateful to have a wife who is not only good at making your bed warm, but also smart to make you not hungry and unhealthy snacks outside." Kent almost choked. Quickly the man sipped his drink quickly.

Jess looks ordinary. The woman put on a smile as if everything was going the way the in-laws said.

"Papa was too complimentary. Just a simple dish that my husband happens to like. Kent's a good guy, so he never commented on any kind of cooking I had. Papa and Mama managed to create this handsome man, in the form of a perfect dream husband. I'm grateful to have it now." Kent stared at the compliment ending with the ambiguous sentence.

But Kent realized, Jess pressed the last two words with unusual intonation. The word today, has its own meaning for the woman.

Jess looked at her from her left side. The face displayed an unceasing smile on the father. It was as if they were a happy couple.

After a drama-filled lunch, Tomo returns home first. Jess has to wait a while to get out of there. Really Jess feels nauseous if you have to linger in a room with Kent.

At home they only met when eating twice a day, sometimes only met at breakfast. He is grateful for that condition.

They don't even keep their cell phone numbers. What a complicated relationship. But Jess tries to carry out her role nicely. He can't cut a wound in the mother's heart. The woman who had fought hard for him was also his younger siblings.

Once all this is done, Jess will use the compensation money promised by Kent as a business model. She's not a hypocritical woman, one thing's for sure. Jess doesn't feel like she's mortgaging her pride. Compensation as part of a divorce. Jess felt she deserved it.

Most importantly, Jess never asked let alone pegged the amount. All Kent had decided on his own without compromising with him. But it doesn't matter. Jess will accept whatever Kent gives her without asking for more.

He was used to a life full of struggles, just think of Kent as another path as a bonus from God. And he should be grateful. That's how Jess thinks.

...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...

How the continuation of the flat relationship, hopefully there is love that is present as time goes on that is left three months.
