Chapter 3 - 3: The Army

In a forest not far from the town of Bergorm, two people were walking through the forest, seen a man and a woman, by using clothes that look a little foreign and different from the soldiers usually and also seen they both use a mask with the shape of an animal, and the, the man with the shape of a monkey and the woman with the shape of a rabbit.

With a not-so-large sword located on the back of one of the men, they walked right up to the former laboratory where Zaki, Linda and Yuichi were found.

"What are we going to do with those guards?" said the foreign woman.

"Our task is to see only where they are found, so we are not ordered to fight or show ourselves" said one of them.

"Well if it's like that!"

They both looked very alert by lurking from behind a large tree trunk and located a little far away, due to the very tight guard in front of the laboratory, and on the left-right side of the laboratory was guarded by several soldiers who used full weapons and there were also several combat cars that contained enough weaponry to kill anyone who tried to get inside the lab was without permission.

"Why does the guard around this lab look so tight?" said the foreign woman in a tone that looked annoyed.

"I don't know, we were told to find information about this place!"

"I'd love to finish them all off and check into that lab" the woman said.

"Hufftt, I hope you control your bloodlust!" said the man who was seen sighing and holding the head of the woman who looked a little short with his right hand.

While watching around the laboratory, suddenly the phone carried by the man rang.

"Hmm... What's wrong?" ask the woman curious.

"Ah... Brother Mamani sent a message!" the man said as he checked the message.

"What's he saying?"

"We're told to go back!"

"Huh?..why is it like that, we're here only two days!" said the woman looked a little upset.

"Of course, we must return to Trafors!"

"No. I don't want to go back!" said the woman in an annoyed tone.

"Well, I'll come back alone.I hope he doesn't hear your complaint and kill you here!" said the man in a cold tone and left the woman.

"Eh?. a-ah t-wait, you idiot.." said the woman chasing after the man.

Meanwhile, Mervis, Zaki and the others are preparing to leave for Yordafala.

"Are we going to wait for those trucks?" ask Casta.

"No, they'll catch up. 'cause it's getting late!" mervis replied casually.

"Alright Colonel!" casta.

"Let's go up, all of you, we're leaving soon!" mervis said firmly.

They boarded the car, with Mervis and Ayla in the front seat, Linda and Casta in the middle, and Zaki and Yuichi in the back seat.

"Well, Zaki. Why are we always discriminated against like this?" yuichi was upset.

"Already, the important thing is we are still given a place to sit," said Zaki who looks resigned.

"Well... Linda, would you like to switch seats with me?" yuichi whispered softly into Linda's ear.

"Hmm.. can!" said Linda plain.

Casta who heard the whisper then looked sharply at the two of them, and saw Linda who wanted to come down to replace Yuichi behind but was prevented by Casta.

"Hm... Linda!" call Casta.

"Yes?" said Linda plain.

"I think they're comfortable in the back... HM... AREN'T YOU!?" casta said in a slightly heavy tone and stared intently at the two of them at the back.

"A-ah I-you're right Casta. I-I'm very comfortable being back here, well Linda I don't think so, t-I'm not going to give you this comfortable chair...." yuichi said in a nervous tone.

"Hmm?" linda was confused.

"And it happened again." Inner Zaki while showing a resigned expression.

"All right then!" linda said with a slight smile.

Mervis and Ayla who were at the front could only be speechless hearing their unrest in the back.

"Tighten your belts, we're leaving!" mervis said firmly.

"Good Colonel!" casta and Ayla.

The car was walking slowly towards the main gate and there were several guards in front of the gate who were saluting Mervis.

And finally the car left the building was quite large, and began to pass through a highway that is large enough and filled with military vehicles and private vehicles residents there.

Linda, Zaki and Yuichi who saw the scene could only look endlessly amazed, Casta and Ayla who saw their behavior could only smile.

Casta told some stories and the history of the buildings they passed, and they seemed very enthusiastic to hear the explanation.

"Well..is that really Casta?" linda said in a curious tone.

"Hmm.. The food there is very good, later I will take you there!" reply Casta chuckled.

"I can't wait!" linda said again in a passionate tone.

"Casta... How was Misca?" cut Mervis asked Casta.

"Ah... Major is fine, said doctor Kurdan maybe tomorrow he can already go back to the office" reply Casta relaxed.

"Then I don't have to send him there" Mervis smiled back.

"Him?" ask Casta wonder.

"Have you forgotten?" reply Mervis smiled small.

"Ah...is it possible?" answer Casta and Ayla simultaneously.

Linda, Zaki and Yuichi who saw their expressions could only pay attention without knowing who the person they were referring to was.

"Is this a long time?" asked Zaki with a bored expression.

"Hmm. soon we'll be there," Ayla replied with a small smile.

"Yes, after passing this large toll for at least two hours we will arrive" Casta explained.

"When we get to them, Casta, you take them to the meeting room, I'll go straight to General Rayfox" Mervis ordered.

"Good Colonel!"

"Then how am I?" ayla was confused.

"Well, if you want to go to that selection, meet Louis and talk to him" Mervis replied casually.

"B-good Colonel!" ayla said firmly.

The car continues to run on a large overpass without stopping at a speed of 70km/h, Ayla looked back and saw that they had fallen asleep except for Zaki who was still watching the large streets and the towering buildings in her vision.

 "Zaki, why don't you sleep too?" ask Ayla plain.

"Hmm.. how can I sleep with this stupid snoring on my side" Zaki said coldly while still looking outwards.

"It's like you're thinking about something, what's wrong?" tanya Mervis is monitoring Zaki from the car's rearview mirror.

"Today, it's like I'm looking back at the past through the unfamiliar memories that often come to my head" Zaki replied as he looked out of the car.

"Is that your old memory?" ask Mervis relax.

"Let's go. I hope I remember everything soon," Zaki replied again remaining in a cold tone.

"I hope you get your memories soon and they, too, Zaki." Ayla said expectantly.

"Hahaha.thank you Ayla!" reply Zaki gave a small smile and directed his gaze to Ayla.

"Then?...What do you see in your memory?" ask Mervis again curious.

"They're both!"

"They?" ask Mervis confused.

"Linda and Yuichi!" zaki replied with a serious look.

"It's only natural, since the three of you are inside that one lab, it's certain that they both have something to do with you!" mervis replied casually.

"But.." said Zaki, stopping his words.

"But?" mervis replied curiously.

"In my memory, I saw two more people besides us!" zaki said as if thinking of something.

"Do you know them?" ask Mervis curious.

"No, but I don't know why they're in my memory!" zaki was confused.

"If not wrong." said Mervis trying to discuss something in a serious tone while driving the car.

"...." - ".Zaki and Ayla just stared confusedly watching Mervis who stopped his words.

"What's the Colonel?" ask Ayla curious.

"In the laboratory there are five capsules" Mervis said.

"Five?" ayla was surprised.

"Yes, but the two capsules were empty, I didn't know the contents of the two empty capsules, because I thought they were empty capsules from the beginning" Mervis explained.

"It's possible that the two people Zaki remembers are them" Ayla said, trying to guess.

"But if they are frozen together with Zaki, Linda, and Yuichi?" ayla said again curious and pointed her index finger to her chin as she looked up at the roof of the car like she was thinking about something.

Question after question arises from the three of them, so that the journey is always filled with question marks from the presence of Zaki and his friends to the world they currently occupy.

"Well... Colonel!" call Zaki.

"What's wrong?"

"I don't think Linda needs to be included in the Division selection," Zaki said, looking at Linda who was asleep in front of him.

"Why?" ask Ayla wonder.

"Let's know, I just don't want her to be okay, until I find out who we really are" Zaki replied seriously.

"If you don't have to worry, I will protect him" Mervis said in a reassuring tone to Zaki.

"But...."

"If you want to be strong, you just need to focus on the training that will be given to you later, with your stupid friend," said Mervis looks a little relaxed.

"Yes, I'll take care of Linda too, you don't have to worry about Zaki, and I think Casta will protect her no matter what," Ayla said, trying to convince Zaki.

"I won't let you get hurt again, whatever it is, I will promise to protect you," Zaki looked at Linda and Yuichi.

"Ah.. we're almost there" said Ayla while trying to wake Casta and Linda.

"Hmm... Did I fall asleep?" casta said as she rubbed her eyes and looked out the window.

"Have we arrived?" said Linda also rubbed her eyes and looked towards the road ahead.

"In the meantime, we're in Yordafala, and we're heading to headquarter" Ayla smiled.

"Heh?..really?" reply Linda with a passionate tone.

Zaki sees Yuichi still sleeping and snoring next to him and tries to wake him up.

"Oi'm a fool, we've arrived" Zaki said as he patted Yuichi on the shoulder.

"AAAAA.. Stop kissing me you fucking fish.." yelled Yuichi a little loudly in the car.

Everyone in the car was shocked to hear the scream and confused the meaning of Yuichi's words.

"Eh?.. Why are you Yuichi?" ayla asked confusedly.

"At least he had a weird dream again" Zaki said in a cold tone.

"Hahaha, it turns out that fish is much more suited to you than women, yes horse hair," Casta mocked while laughing out loud.

"Well?.. What did you say?" yuichi said in an annoyed tone.

"Well?.. You dare challenge me?" casta said back with a look as if he wanted to kill someone.

"You think I'm scared?. Don't equate me with this fool next to me" Yuichi said in a slightly harsh tone.

"What are you saying?. Who do you call a stupid fucking horse hair," Zaki replied with an already very annoyed expression.

"Ah...we have arrived.." Ayla cut off telling those who were fighting behind.

Suddenly the three of them who were jambak-jambak behind looked towards the front.

"Well, the magnitude.." said Linda with eyes that shone brightly.

"I-this.g-gate of the demon king's palace," Yuichi said with a shocked expression.

"The demon lord's palace is your eyes. This is the first gate before we enter the headquarters," Casta told in a cold tone.

They began to enter a very large and white gate, with the image of the Xenozia flag engraved on the gate adds to the beauty of the large gate and there are also Xenozia flags fluttering on the left and right side of the gate.

The office, located in the middle of the city center, is guarded by dozens of fully dressed army personnel and firearms and also seen military cars lined up neatly.

Mervis opened the windshield and gave a card to the postman in the middle of the big gate.

"Welcome back Colonel!" said the gatekeeper kindly while saluting him.

"Hmm.." Mervis nodded casually.

After checking the card, they were also welcome to enter into the very large building.

The car went straight back to the second gate and so on.

"This is how many gates we have to go through?" asked Yuichi who had started to get nauseous from being in the car for too long.

"50 gates" Casta said in a mocking tone to the nauseous-looking Yuichi.

"I think I'll die before we get there" Yuichi said, holding his mouth as if holding something out.

"I'll kill you if you throw up in front of me" Casta said with a very creepy look.

"Hold on Yuichi soon, we'll pass the last gate" Ayla said, trying to calm Yuichi down.

"Are there really 50 gates of Ayla?" ask Zaki curiously.

"Hahaha.no, just five gates, we just passed the fourth gate," Ayla told me.

"Why is that much?" ask Zaki again.

"Because this is the office as well as the last fortress if the enemy manages to control other cities, so this place is made very strictly," Mervis told them.

"Hmm." said Ayla with a smile.

"Woaahh.. is great. There are too many soldiers here, and also many fountains and also very nice places," said Linda who put her face on the car glass and looked out with shining eyes.

"Ah.. That's the last gate," tell Ayla.

"Thank God we've arrived, Uegggkkkkk." said Yuichi while suppressing his nausea by covering his mouth with his hands.

The car stopped right in front of the stairs to the main entrance, the soldiers who stood guard at the front of the stairs in full clothes and weapons went straight to their car and opened the door of the car while saluting Colonel Mervis.

"Ah... we finally arrived.." said Casta while stretching his body and fingers.

"Welcome back Colonel!" said the male soldier who opened the door of Mervis' car while saluting Mervis.

"Hmm.." Mervis nodded casually.

"Welcome back Casta... Ayla.." said the female soldier who opened Ayla and Casta's doors.

"Hmm. we are back," said Ayla smiling gently at the female soldier.

"And them?" the female soldier was confused.

"Well, they're the ones found in the lab" Ayla said.

"Hoo... do they?. welcome to the headquarters," said the female soldier with a friendly smile.

When they got out of the car, there was someone waiting for Mervis at the main door.

The nauseous Yuichi kept trying to hold back his nausea.

"O-oi where is the toilet?. a-I'm not strong anymore," he said with a look of sadness.

However, Yuichi's gaze was suddenly sidetracked by someone standing at the main door, and a voice sounded calling Mervis from afar.

"You're late Mervis!" he looked towards Mervis.

"Well?.. What do you mean Richa?" reply Mervis.

"Where have you been?..we've been waiting since," Richa replied again as she folded her arms under her chest.

"R-R-Richa?.. Is that Richa Geavany?" yuichi said, looking at the woman.

"Eh?" said Zaki shocked to see Yuichi who suddenly recovered from his nausea.

"Ah... Do you know Yuichi?" ask Linda in amazement.

"We saw his picture in one of the rooms in Colonel Mervis' office" Zaki told Linda.

"Heh?.. Why don't you guys take me?" linda asked with a slightly angry expression and puffed her cheeks.

"Well, we were lost and accidentally went in there" Zaki explained, rubbing his hand against his back.

"You must have seen Colonel Richa's picture in the lounge, huh?" ayla asked with a cute smile.

"B-but she's so beautiful." said Linda with shining eyes in awe.

"Really... Colonel Richa is so beautiful" Ayla replied with a cute smile.

Seen Colonel Richa wearing army officer clothes in white, on his shirt there is a medal and the same rank as Mervis, Mervis, her face looks very beautiful with bright green eyes and uses very elegant glasses, and there is a small mole on the bottom of her left lip, she said, Colonel Richa has long, pink hair, and wears a white cap with a small bear in the middle of his hat.

"M-m-angels." said Yuichi when he first saw Colonel Richa's face.

"Huh?" mervis was confused.

"W-will you marry me?" yuichi said that he immediately proposed to Richa.

"Well?.who are you?" asked Richa with an expression that looked disgusted.

"Ah... turned out not to be in vain I was here," said Yuichi with a style and expression that was hopeful and did look a little disgusting.

"Oi Mervis, why are you bringing another freak into this place?" richa asked who blamed Mervis.

"Well?.why do you always blame me?" said Mervis who looked upset.

"So how?... Did you accept my proposal?" yuichi asked expectantly.

"Certainly not.why should I accept such a disgusting offer from a person who looks weak like you" Richa said in deeply piercing words.

Hearing those words made Yuichi become depressed and lose his spirit.

"O-oi Yuichi... Are you okay?" ask Zaki to worry.

"Well, Zaki, you better kill me!" he said with a depressed tone.

"Huh?... If you really want to die, just have Colonel Mervis or Casta kill you, I think they will be happy to do it," said Zaki coldly.

"Yuichi.. spirit!" said Linda plain while encouraging her.

"I don't think anyone will like an old woman like you anymore" Yuichi replied to Richa.

"AH?.. Who do you call an old woman?" richa replied with a murderous gaze and aura.

"Watch!!... Colonel Mervis!" casta said commemorating the Mervis.

The atmosphere around the building suddenly darkened with an extremely strong aura of pressure, the soldiers standing guard around there suddenly became extremely frightened by what was about to happen.

"O-oi... What the fuck is this?" zaki said nervously.

"Currently, what are you doing Yuichi" Mervis said, scolding Yuichi.

"Eh?" yuichi's reply was confused.

Mervis tells them to hide behind the car.

"W-why?" ask Linda plain while feeling scared.

"Colonel Richa, if you're angry, it's very dangerous" Ayla said.

"Even Colonel Mervis couldn't stop him" Casta told him.

"Why can?. aren't they the same?" ask Zaki wonder.

"According to the rumors, Colonel Richa is the owner of the Artifacts with a rank above Colonel Mervis," Casta told reporters.

Suddenly, when they were panicking and hiding behind the car, Mervis' voice suddenly sounded a little loud.

"Prepare." said Mervis put up the horses and warned them of the impending danger.

"Legendary Artifacts: Wild Bear." said Colonel Richa in a blood-red tone and gaze that was very terrible.
