Chapter 2 - 5: Destination

In the courtyard of Colonel Mervis' office, several residents and soldiers were helping to repair the place, some were rebuilding the shattered concrete pylons and clearing the rubble scattered around it.

Meanwhile, Zaki, Linda and the others were already in the living room.

"I hope Major Misca and Mr. Jancoct are okay" Linda said with a hopeful expression.

"Hmph..a barbarian woman like her where might die that easily," Yuichi replied fixedly with his silly answer and expression.

"Yes, it's a good thing that he's not here, if he hears it, I'm not sure that your face will remain smooth" Casta replied with a slightly insinuating tone and expression.

"Hmph. despite being hit how many times my face will still be handsome and will not change," he replied with confident expression and clenched his hands forward excitedly.

Then Zaki picked up the book that was thrown earlier and looked at the front cover.

"What's this?" ask Zaki.

"That's a basic theory book for you guys to practice," Mervis replied casually.

"Exercise?" yuichi asked confusedly.

"Yes.you will train to be soldiers," Mervis replied in a relaxed tone and like no burden.

"Haaah.." said Zaki, Linda, Yuichi and Casta in shock.

"W-why can?" ask Casta.

"Hm... Ayla told me that and advised me to put them in the army" told Mervis.

"A-Aylaaaa.." said Casta while looking at Ayla with a sharp look.

"Ahahaha.I think that's a good idea, because they seem to like fighting," Ayla replied in a panic and rubbed her hands against her back head as well as with her cute expression.

Seeing Ayla's faith, Casta became unbearable and just breathed his breath slowly while closing his eyes.

Casta who was aware of it then immediately dismissed the meaning of his words.

"Eh. We all I mean are women, you stupid assholes...." reply Casta while hitting Yuichi's face very hard and looks also the expression of Casta's face reddened and very upset.

"Where am I sleeping?" said Zaki who was initially seen to be happy but held back his expression because he did not want to fate the same as Yuichi.

"Hmph. if you two, sleeping on the toilet is not a problem," Casta replied in a cold tone while throwing his face away from the two of them.

Meanwhile, the women who were also already in the bath began to enter the bathhouse which looked like an open-air bath, then they soak in a warm water pond that is box-shaped and looks a little spacious and decorated with trees and flowers from nature that beautify the place.

The three of them told each other and asked each other.

"Well Linda... How do you feel about getting into the army?" ayla asked with a cheerful face.

"A-a-ah. i-that's it. I'm so happy.." Linda replied timidly.

"But doesn't that matter?" casta asked with a slight disappointment at the decision.

"Hm... Casta why are you?.. Since you seem to really dislike them getting into the army!" ask Ayla curious.

Linda was only speechless to see that because she did not dare to reply to Casta's words.

"A-ah. I don't dislike that, but, they've only been here a few days, and you know, Ayla herself, how harsh the lives of the soldiers who even had to be ready to sacrifice their souls and bodies for the country," Casta retorted trying to dismiss Ayla's negative intentions.

Then Casta rubbed Linda's head and Casta looked back at the wound.

"Linda.." said Casta slowly.

"If I could tell, where did you get that scar?" ask Casta curiously.

"I don't know, because I don't remember anything when I got that wound, I don't even know if I had it" Linda replied quietly as she sobbed.

"Alright then. so stop crying the beautiful Linda.." persuade Casta gently to try to stop her crying.

However, Linda's cries even louder.

Meanwhile, at the men's bath, Yuichi is seen looking at a small gray monkey and using a plain dogtag necklace that is soaking in the water with them.

"O-oi. k-why did you turn into this Zaki.." Yuichi said to the monkey and intended to insinuate Zaki who was soaking beside them.

"...." the monkey just silently looked at Yuichi's silly face.

"Eh?. oi horse hair... Did you hear someone crying?" zaki asked Yuichi who kept chatting with the monkey.

"Ah... you finally spoke also Zaki.." he said excitedly towards the little monkey.

"Oh yes Zaki.. Why did you suddenly faint?" yuichi asked the cute little monkey.

"I don't know the last thing I remember...." Zaki stopped his words.

"Eh?.. What's up Zaki?" yuichi asked confusedly.

The speechless Zaki again recalled the slight oddity at the time when he wanted to help Jancoct sir and Major Misca to defeat the stranger who attacked them.

Then suddenly he made a slightly loud sound.

"Gun?" yuichi asked confusedly.

"O-oi where are you going?" yuichi asked, turning his eyes away from the little monkey.

"Hmm. You're right, if it's too long in the water then it will be. o-oi wait," said Yuichi while standing up and ending the soak as well.

In Major Misca's room, Ayla was wearing her tanktop and shorts and Linda was still in her patient's clothes, and it was also seen that they were making the bed to be used.

"Well Ayla... Casta where?" ask Linda astonished.

"Ah..he was meeting the Colonel in his room," Ayla replied gently.

"Well, today feels quite tiring." said Linda who looks a little tired from the look on her face.

Ayla who saw the clothes used by Linda then opened the wardrobe of Major Misca and looked for sleepwear that could be used by Linda.

"Ah.. This looks suitable Linda," he said passionately.

"But that...."

"It's okay, just for tonight, I'm sure Major will also lend you this shirt while you stay here" he said.

"W-well, I'll wear it" Linda said shyly and looked a little happy.

Then Linda also wears a sleepwear that looks dark blue with a picture of a small green turtle on each part of her clothes.

"W-how?" ask Linda timidly.

"Ah...you look beautiful.." said Ayla praised him with enthusiasm.

"A-ah.. t-thank you.." Linda replied in a soft tone and blushing face.

In the room Mervis, seen he was reading a book and looked serious, but suddenly the door of the room rang.

"Who?" tanyakanya.

"Eh?. I-I'm Colonel... Casta," replied Casta from the outside.

"Ah.. You apparently..come in," said Mervis.

Casta opened the door and entered the room.

"What's wrong?"

"Ah. i-this is the book you requested," he replied, giving three books in his hand.

"Ah... this book.I almost forgot to take it," said Mervis with a silly expression.

"Heh?.. when he always reminds me not to forget to bring the book.." said Casta in his heart.

"Thank you Casta...."

"Well Colonel!" casta said wrongly and rubbed his hands behind his head.

"If I may know.." said Casta timidly.

"Hmm... What's wrong?" ask Mervis wonder.

"A-what do you mean send a k-yesterday message with the h-h-hati i-tu symbol?" said Casta with a broken tone and a slightly reddened face because it held his shame.

"Ah...that's it. I mispress," Mervis replied quickly and with her flat expression.

"Did??" casta said confused with a flat expression as well while tilting her head to the right.

"Why?" asked Mervis with a look of a confused face.

"A-ah.. t-it's okay.. he..he..hehehehe.." said Casta who held the shame.

"How are they doing?" ask Mervis again.

"Ah... For the time being we sleep in Major Misca's room" Casta said.

"We?" look at Mervis sharply.

"Eh. I mean me, Ayla and Linda" Casta said.

"Then the two of them?"

"I don't know where they are."

"Hmm. well then, if there are no more problems, you can go back to Misca's room and rest, because tomorrow we have a lot to do" said Mervis.

"B-good Colonel!" reply Casta while paying his respects.

Casta turned around and walked out of the Mervis room and closed the door back from the outside.

"Aaaaaa. - what am I doing." she said in her heart and held her head and looked shocked.

After muttering in front of the door of the room Mervis then Casta again walked to the room Misca.

"That's a shame." she said as she walked over while covering her flushed face with both hands.

When I got to the door of Misca's open room, I saw Ayla and Linda waiting for him.

"Ah Casta you're back" Linda said with enthusiasm.

"Casta... Why are you?. Why is your face red?" ayla asked confusedly.

"A-a-ah. t-nothing," he replied in disarray.

"Eh... Are you seriously nothing?" ask Ayla who is getting curious.

"That's it, let's just sleep, I'm tired.." invite him with gesture wrong behavior.

Meanwhile, Colonel Mervis who still remained in his room was curious about the book that Casta had just given him.

"Secret?" said Mervis who read the writing on the cover of his book.

"Two books of the same writing and one book of the same writing... Old Division?" he said again curious.

Mervis who is increasingly curious then read the diary book with the writing 'Secret' first.

"This Red Book contains only the results of laboratory trials there!"

"And this black book is about Artifacts weapons that I've never even seen before." he murmured curiously.

Then Mervis glanced at the third book.

"Old Division...." Mervis looked at the book seriously.

When he opened the first page of the book, he was shocked....

"I-i-this is right." he said with a look of a slightly shocked and pale face.
