I felt something was lacking, and to write the story of One Love, Two Hearts took quite a long time, and only then did I taste making this novel.
With all sorts of feelings and circumstances mixed in, but I tried to put together all these stories, because I had to convey them to the public, and the general public, as well as the writers who today are still in a dilemma, he said, just start writing or hesitate to pour your heart, do it now! Don't hesitate your fingers dancing on the keyboard.
Many wisdom and stories that I want to write, the first life experience I know Aa Syahrel, began when I became his guide in Bedouin, my homeland.
They called us as Urang Kanekes or Bedouins. We live in Lebak, Banten with a population of about 25,000 people. We isolate ourselves from the outside world, because we assume that our universe must be guarded, from the hands of the ignorant humans out there.
And I came out of the inner Baduy, just wanting to find myself in life, settled me in the outer Bedouin. The Bedouin's name was given by Dutch researchers. They think that we have similarities with tribes in Arabia whose lives are always moving, or nomadic.
Or there is another possibility, it could be because of the Baduy River and Mount Baduy in the northern part of the region. They themselves prefer to refer to themselves as urang Kanekes or "people of Kanekes" according to the name of their territory, or a term that refers to the name of their village such as Urang Cibeo.
Our guy or, Kanekes has a relationship
history that can not be separated with the Sundanese. From the physical and to what we use is the same as the language of the Sundanese. What distinguishes us from other Sundanese people is the difference in trust. We shut ourselves off from the influence of the outside world. And so fanatical about our own culture. To preserve the culture and traditions we have.
Our society is generally diverse between groups of tangtu, accompaniment, and dangka. The tangtu group, known as the Bedouins in, our first tribe and I were included in it. In Bedouin there are some areas that are still strict with the rules of customs.
The areas that are still thick with custom are Cibeo, Cikertawana, and Cikeusik, which are characteristic of the region, is the way the clothes are natural white and dark blue and wear a white headband. It is forbidden to meet foreigners.
Inner Kanekes are part of the overall Kanekes people. Unlike the Outer Kanekes, the citizens of Inner Kanekes still hold fast to the customs of their ancestors.
Some regulations adopted by the Kanekes Dalam tribe include: not allowed to use vehicles for transportation, not to use footwear, among others, and until set up details such as the door of the house must face north/south (except the house of the Pu'un or customary chairman), they are not allowed to use electronic devices (technology)
Using black/white fabric as clothing that is woven and sewn alone and is not allowed to use modern clothing.
And the second Kanekes group is, Luar (Outer Baduy), which lives in various villages scattered around the area of Kanekes Dalam, such as Cikadu, Kadukutuk, Kadukolot, Gajeboh, Cisagu, and so forth.
Outer Kanekes are people who have come out of the customs and areas of Inner Kanekes. There are several things that cause the release of citizens Kanekes In to Kanekes Outer.
Kanekes Outside, is a society that violates all the rules that Kanekes in doing. They are also considered a tribe that violates the sanctity of the Bedouin tribe. No more clothes
They have violated the custom of the Kanekes Dalam community. When Kanekes Dalam and Kanekes Luar live in the Kanekes region, then "Kanekes Dangka" live outside the Kanekes region, and at this time there are 2 villages left, and there are 2 villages left, they are Padawaras (Cibengkung) and Sirahdayeuh (Cihandam). Kampung Dangka serves as a kind of buffer zone for outside influences.
This is where I got to know him, while I was the guide for coverage of the deceased. From him I learned to know God, who was all animism. Aa Syahrel taught about divinity. How God rules the universe, and erases my paradigm of God's vision, which I knew was only the existence of the supernatural, to the extent of it. It is precisely Aa Syahrel who instills the meaning of Godhead in himself.
And I finally consciously, and watched him worship, plus his character or his wisdom, which did not look old and young, he still respected. That's where my curiosity comes from,"Kok there's yah? People who remain polite even though their age is far adrift?" when I look at the way he speaks. From there, I was curious about the figure of Syahrel. What else when he taught me the understanding of divinity, none of it accentuated feeling the most understanding and so forth.
It was precisely from youth that I learned how to appreciate people, dim the ego, and other examples. Until finally, this mouth asks to join the drone. And he always asked permission from his mother. Which in my opinion, he can succeed and become a great writer because it is a blessing because he is so respectful and unfortunately he is with his mother.
I pay attention to his daily life, how so respectful he is with his mother, even as busy as he is, still had time to bring his favorite food, contact him, until there is something that makes me cry, that is when he sent the mother to the illegal mosque, to adjust the Hajj, and it became the last day he met the mother, and will not meet again for good.
"Jama' My dream to send my mother to an illegal mosque, is the greatest dream in life, and long before I became a writer had kept it above home, even until I look up to the roof of the house. And when all the harpan has been achieved, then I lengapi what is the mother's need to go to Hajj, I happen to have long also tasted the house, all of which are coincidental and peaceful. That is where we will know that God is involved in our affairs. What we think is bitter, not necessarily before man." Inget what he said at that time, and did not set up as much as his journey to send the mother to the holy land, while I? there were no more parents, until I did not recognize who my mother and father were, did not know how my parents' faces were. On that basis, too, the late considered who finally passed me to come to Jakarta and become his assistant.
