"We will not be separated" Cantika said.
"Dad talked to Om Keanu about separation .. and I'll come with Mom, I don't want Mom," Alisa said in tears.
Cantika's body froze for a moment, not expecting the Emperor to go that far and make his son sad. Cantika hugged her daughter.
"When did you hear this?" ask Alisa who is concerned about her child's mental. He must have been shaken for harboring that feeling himself.
"For a long time, Alisa did not know," he said as he pleased in Cantika's arms. "I don't want to be separated from Dad, Mom," he said. "I'm scared."
Cantika can't do much. His chest felt tight. Farewell is the scourge of his life. He was unwilling to let go of the Emperor in his life. He thought he had to do something so that the Emperor could come back with him.
What reason did the Emperor seem to have stayed away from him in these few years. He never even touched it. If he used to think it was because of his illness after the accident, now he asked even further. Was the Emperor not a normal man because they could never be physically united? Did the accident make the Emperor impotent?
Questions popped up in Cantika's mind. He would not give up on maintaining his household as much as possible because there was no one better to be Alisa's father than the Emperor. He will also investigate the Emperor's life outside. Maybe he had a mistress that kept him from being cold to her.
Cantika then drove Alisa to her school. He just drove it to the front of the school gate. Not going inside.
While in class. "Remember Lana, don't embarrass me because you can't do the job. You have to be the best because you're a hotshot. Yes B." Maulana shut her mouth. "Auntie."
Farida widened her eyes, then smiled hugging Maulana. "Don't embarrass me, Okey."
Maulana.
At the same time, Alisa entered the classroom. "Hi, girl," Maulana said to Alisa. Alisa threw her face to the side past them.
Farida opened her mouth wide. He pinched the big little arm of Maulana.
"Aww hurts ...," said Maulana grimaced, but with a laugh.
"Where did you learn that?"
"From Ryan and Dad."
"Ish, those two people ...."
"The girl will like it when called like that, the proof is that Mba Mirna will smile." he said hesitantly.
Farida stared intently at Maulana.
"Well, I wouldn't do that again if Auntie didn't like it."
Farida nodded while tidying up Maulana's uncluttered clothes.
"Auntie will go to work first. Remember to be a good student here. And ...." Farida approached Maulana's ear. Whispering, "Good apologies to Alisa as well as invite her to play."
Maulana nodded while looking at Alisa. "But he's quiet." Whisper Maulana into Farida's ear.
"You're a smart kid, you know how to get close to him."
"Say Om Ryan is quite a gentleman."
Farida rolled her eyes lazily. Maulana if you often interact with people in her travel agency it will be like this. There were many bad teachings that the man gave this innocent child.
"Yes, Auntie's going to work first."
"Is Aunt going home like yesterday?"
"Tante will try to get home soon."
After which, Farida approached towards Alisa. He knew that the boy was his nephew. "Hi, Alisa," she crouched down in front of the boy.
Alisa looked over and smiled. However, his eyes said that the child was sad.
"You are so beautiful today" she said. Alisa started looking at Farida. "Aunty looks pretty too."
"Aunty...." Farida smiled at the call. "You're so much prettier, like your mother."
"Ehm, does Auntie know my mother?"
"Of course it's because she's Aunty's current superior's wife."
"Tante knows Dad too?"
Farida nodded.
Farida nodded. Then hugged down to Maulana's ears. Whispering, "That's why you should be nice to her if you don't want Aunt fired."
Maulana nodded, understood.
Half an hour later Farida just got out of the elevator in the Cortez office building by running. He almost ran over some of the other employees, before reaching the front of the room.
"He .. he ... Miss Farida, what happened?" greet Betty friendly.
"Has the Emperor come?"
Betty grimaced while nodding.
"Dead me!" Farida was about to run in but her hand was held by Betty. He handed me an empty plastic folder.
"For what?"
"You need it" replied Betty.
Farida took a breath before turning the doorknob.
"Spirit!" betty said with an anxious face. While giving a sign to knock on the door first. Farida nodded her head.
The door of the room began to knock. After that, Farida entered the room.
The man only glanced at him sharply at a glance then refocused with a pile of paper in front of him. Signing the pile of maps in front of him. He stepped forward to Farida.
"You are late" said the Emperor without distracting him from the pile of papers in front of him.
"I'm sorry" said Farida.
The Emperor smiled in horror, it scared Farida. His heart beats faster. Hold the empty map tightly.
The Emperor's face stiffened. "Sorry, it doesn't solve the problem."
He then threw the pile of paper in front of him towards Farida. Automatically, Farida made the map as a shield. Now he understood why Betty gave it to him.
"You go through all that paper and hand it over to me in two hours. Tell me what the mistakes are in it."
"Alright, sir," said Farida crouched down picking up the paper scattered around her body.
"Inhuman," he murmured.
"What are you talking about?"
"No, Sir. You heard it wrong."
"My ears aren't deaf, Farida."
After he finished stacking all the papers in the order, Farida got up about to go out of the room.
"Where are you going?" ask Emperor.
"Do this outside, sir."
"Do you know where your room is?"
"That's what I wanted to ask Betty. If you have not provided a room for me then I can sit with him at a table."
"You're just gonna interrupt his work."
''Actually, what do people want? Hard to guess.'
"Then I will look for a place that no one else will bother with me."
"You just sit there, if you don't understand something ask me," pointed the Emperor towards the sofa in a soft voice.
Farida blinked her eyes in disbelief. He thought the man just wanted to work on it later. Look in front of him what the man will do. The emperor is not that stupid. He must have a plan. Farida must be able to guess it in order for her mission to succeed this time.
He did not want to lose and would not succumb any more to the life that had brought him to the abyss of old sorrow.
