The emperor could not say anything more. He realized that he had made a lot of mistakes with Farida, there was no good reason to justify it.
"I know it's hard for you to forgive everything I've done. I will accept all the punishment. I will not force you to accept me again because what you say is true. Love needs proof not just words."
"I won't punish you because we don't have any relationship." Farida threw her face to the side.
"But your anger has punished me," the inner Emperor.
"From today on I will not ask you to accept me, but do not limit my relationship with Maulana" the Emperor asked.
"You are his father!" farida left that place. He should not be upset to see the man give up, the reality was different, he wanted the Emperor to fight for him instead of giving up like that. The mood's getting ruined. He wanted to scream in anger, but he couldn't.
Maulana who was peeping from earlier went straight to the dining room when her mother walked in.
"Dad here, Mom?" maulana asked while pretending to hold her spoon.
"Yes, she's in the living room," Farida replied with a bent face. The woman sat down in the dining chair.
"I'll take you here to eat, Mom?'' ask Maulana.
"Hm."
Fadil blinked his eyes at Maulana. The boy ran straight to the living room. There he saw his father's lethargic face bowed to a chair, holding a large bouquet of roses.
Maulana then climbed into the chair and sat down next to her father. "Are you going to give up?''
"No," replied the Emperor smiling wryly.
"Then don't make me sad anymore."
The Emperor rubbed his son's head affectionately.
"Women love to sulk" Maulana whispered.
"Where do you know this?"
"Erick's father and Om Ryan like to say that" Maulana replied.
The emperor nodded his head. During this time , his son did live among adults so that his speech was not like a child in general.
"Then what are they doing?"
"Mother Uyun was given a lot of money to shop," Maulana replied innocently.
The Emperor was stunned thinking of Maulana's suggestion. Farida won't take any money from him just that another way might work. By taking her shopping.
"Dad, we eat yuk" Maulana asked.
"Did your mother allow it?"
Maulana nodded her head. The emperor was excited again. He just needs a little patience to face Farida.
They went to the dining room. The table is round. Maulana chose to sit close to her grandfather, letting her father sit next to Farida.
"Dad, take the rice," pointed to Maulana who saw the Emperor just silently.
Farida sighed. He then took the rice and side dishes to the Emperor's plate with a slightly rough movement.
"Already," said the Emperor, stopping Farida's hand, who had taken a lot of food for him.
Farida immediately pulled her hand quickly and wiped the former Emperor's touch with a tissue.
Maulana looked at her father with pity. However, he could do nothing. His mother if angry is indeed silent and more frightening than Mother Uyun who scolded him.
They eat in silence. Farida lost her appetite to eat.
"Dad, did he say he wanted to buy some brownies for Mom?" ask Maulana.
"Oh, Dad almost forgot, it's in the living room," the Emperor answered, picking up a brownie. He put the cake on the table.
"So she went out to buy flowers and cakes?" inner Farida.
The emperor then ate it with great greed, like a starving man. "I haven't eaten since Jakarta" said the Emperor.
In fact, it had been a few days since he had lost his appetite. Even these two days he had not eaten rice at all, all he had in mind was wanting to quickly meet Farida and her child. However, there was something he had to finish first before going here. He even handed over all corporate responsibilities to his father until he could persuade Farida to return to him.
His body did look thinner than usual and a little wrinkled. Her hair was not slippery. Even the clothes worn are not as neat as usual. Just wear a shirt and suit without a tie.
"I miss your mother's cooking. All the food looks unappealing" continued the Emperor.
Farida stopped the chewing.
"Dad, can I eat this cake?" The Emperor nodded his head, opening the cake. Brownies that look beautiful with a brown flower decoration on it. Not like a chocolate cake.
Maulana was about to spoon the brownie cake directly, but Farida prevented it.
"Don't eat from a spoon directly" Farida said. This is what Maulana wants. Seeing his mother's attention.
He got up and took a knife and a cake plate. Sliced it up a few slices and then got it for Maulana. Then sit back and continue eating that does not end.
"You like that, right?" Fadil. Farida looked at her father.
"Ultimately, now no!" farida toilet.
The emperor had finished his dinner without leaving a single grain of rice on the plate. She smiled and looked towards Farida. Take one slice of bread, scoop it up and put the cake in Farida's mouth straight away.
Farida surprised. However, this cake was indeed delicious, it was just that he could not say it.
"It's delicious, I'm sure you'll like it" said the Emperor.
"I don't like it!" farida said while drinking.
"Right, Mom, it's delicious" Maulana continued.
Farida narrowed her eyes at Maulana, making the child bow. He felt that father and son were working together.
"You guys spend it, I don't want to!" push Farida to get up.
"That ma-mau's father," said Fadil.
Farida would not want to have to serve her father to get the bread. He then fed his father.
The emperor himself brought dirty dishes to the laundry. Then start washing it.
"Let me alone" said Farida.
"You must be tired of doing everything yourself, let me help you, after all this is the cost of me eating here," said the Emperor who had only wanted to do this since he was with Farida.
Farida looked towards the Emperor who started washing all the dirty dishes. The man during his life received treatment according to his name, the Emperor. Never doing any homework. Everything was prepared by his servant. However, when he was with Farida, he was willing to help her.
Even at the man's house, if Farida cooks, she will try to help even if she is not good at it. After taking care of her father, Farida returned to the dining room to clear things up. However, everything is clean.
The Emperor and Maulana looked cool talking and laughing in the dining room. I don't know what they're talking about, it warms his heart. Maulana does need a father figure like the Emperor who looks perfect in every way.
The Emperor noticed Farida's presence, turned his head so they stared at each other for a while. Farida turned to Maulana.
"Lana, let's go get your body cleaned and get some sleep" asked Farida.
"okkey. You sleep here, right?" ask Maulana.
"Your father will return to his place" answered Farida.
"I'm from the airport straight here, haven't booked a hotel yet" replied the Emperor. "I didn't even bring any clothes at all because it came straight away as soon as I knew you were here."
