Elsewhere, the Emperor walked into Farida's house accompanied by his aides. He knocked on the door and gave his greetings.
"Assalamualaikum," he said.
Sounds authentic from within. There was some relief as it turned out that the house was not as empty as what he thought.
The door opened revealing a large tall figure with a thick mustache perched above his lips. The mustache belongs to Hanafi.
"Good day, Uda."
"Siang, oh Lord Emperor. What wind brought you here?" hanafi.
The Emperor smiled faintly, his eyes staring inwardly looking for the small figure he had met last night.
"Is Maulana and her mother there?"
Hanafi frowned.
"I guess you understand what I mean."
A thin grin was briefly imprinted on Hanafi's thick lips.
"Let's just talk inside. Please come in, sir."
After allowing the Emperor to sit down, Hanafi went inside to make a drink.
The emperor sat in the living room of the house. The room was very simple there was only a set of small black sofas and glass cabinets containing decorations from the Sumatra area, such as cloth and statues and drinking utensils made of wood. Not fancy just organized and very clean. A comfortable home for a small family.
"Kopi Lord Emperor, the original coffee from the land of minang."
"Thank you. Just call Kai, to sound familiar. I guess you're above me, so I'm not guilty of calling Uda like Farida calls you that."
Hanafi only replied with a smile.
After sipping his coffee, the Emperor began to venturately ask about Farida. He began by thumping while stretching his neck that felt suffocating.
He then took out a kretek cigarette which he knew was Hanafi's favorite according to information from his men.
"Tell me." Uda Hanafi then lit his favorite kretek cigarette. Suck it.
"Uda, I've had an accident that caused some of my memories to be lost. I'm still collecting pieces of that memory."
Hanafi nodded his head. White smoke in the shape of a circle came out from his mouth, soaring upwards.
For some reason, Hanafi's relaxed style made the Emperor even more nervous. More nervous about getting married to Cantika.
"I forgot about Farida and our future son. Until we met and Uda found out what happened next."
"That means that Uda and Farida knew about me but why do they still lie?" the Emperor was careful. Know who the man he was facing. Former drug recidivists were eventually acquitted due to insufficient evidence.
Hanafi narrowed his eyes for a moment, looking at the Emperor deeply as if he was about to read the man's mind.
"That's to protect Farida from you!" hanafi.
"Is it my fault?"
"Should I remember, right? Marrying her pregnant sister and impregnating her sister, is that what is worthy of being called a man!" hanafi said loudly. He knew the real thing was just that he wanted to protect Farida.
The Emperor brushed his hair back and closed his eyes.
"She asked for my help to get away from you and her family. So I made her my sister by using my sister's identity. I thought you knew about this."
The Emperor did start to get suspicious when he asked about Farida's age. His age is different from the age indicated on his personal data. Since then, he's always found out anything about Farida. It's just that all the information is not completely true because Hanafi is very good at hiding the truth.
"I've divorced my wife religiously and am in court."
"Then?"
"I'd like to propose to him to you because he thinks of you as his biological brother."
"I think you're going the wrong way, Kai. Farida never loved you and did not want to be close to you because of that, she decided to leave your life."
"He left? Go where?" The emperor began to panic.
