Farida was very surprised when she saw the Emperor's car enter her yard. He stood at the door.
The Emperor got out of his car and opened the door for Alisa. Alisa saw the house.
"It's home, Dad?" ask Alisa plain.
"Then what do you think?"
"Why so small? It turned out that Maulana was not as good as my mind," Alisa's way of speaking was very similar to the way Cantika spoke which always demeaned the people below her.
"Hush, you can't say that to someone."
"Sorry, Dad."
Though the house that Farida occupied was a house with two floors. Although not too spacious like other luxury homes but the house is quite good for the lower middle class.
Farida who heard the conversation smiled wryly. He approached both.
"Beautiful, it's great that Aunt saw you again" Farida said. He looked at the Emperor.
"What are you here for?" he said with an unhappy face.
"Alisa forced me to come here, she said she wanted to see her friend's situation and I just found out that her friend is your niece. It's a strange coincidence, isn't it?"
Farida smiled by pulling her lips one corner.
"Thank you for worrying about Maulana, honey. It's just that Maulana is at her house" Farida said.
"You said Maulana lived in a house with you yesterday?"
"Sometimes it is when your father and mother are busy working. Then he'll be deposited here. However, they have their own home," she tries to look normal. Though his heart thumped with fear that the Emperor would find Maulana.
"I hope you didn't accidentally hide it from me, did you?" emperor Said.
"For what?" reply Farida with a tense face. His hand tucked a strand of his own hair behind his ear.
"Maybe you're playing a secret with me?"
"You're all there, Mr. Cortez."
The Emperor stared intently at Farida for a moment.
"But Dad bought a lot of food for Maulana and toys. Maulana doesn't exist."
Farida bent her body.
"Sorry, Beautiful. But you don't worry, Auntie will give it to Maulana."
"Dad, give the bag to Auntie Beautiful" said Alisa. The Emperor gave Farida his bag.
"It's a lot" said Farida carrying three bags. Two bags of toys and one bag of food.
"Maybe I'll bring you more if I can see it" said the Emperor.
Farida rolled her eyes lazily. "There's no need to bother because Maulana always gets what she wants and she doesn't lack anything.''
Alisa raised her face up, seeing her father and Farida fighting each other. They look more like enemies.
"I've received the gift, you can go back home" Farida said.
"Aren't guests allowed in this house and treated to a hot cup of coffee?"
"I don't think it's afraid that the guest will linger in this house" Farida continued.
The Emperor placed his hand on Alisa's shoulder. "What a pity, dear. This beautiful aunt is not as pretty as her name. He's so stingy for not giving us a glass of water."
"And I was thirsty and hungry too. Dad said we brought food to Maulana's house and we'll eat together."
The Emperor smiled faintly when he saw Farida's unpleasant facial features.
"Sadly, Maulana's not home so we have to go home. Let's find food elsewhere" whispered the Emperor in Alisa's ear with the volume of sound Farida could still hear.
Farida rolled her eyeballs lazily, she glanced towards the window, where there was Uyun who was peeking. Give him a safe sign.
Farida breathed a sigh of relief.
"Because you are guests, please come in. Alisa, what do you want to drink?" ask Farida.
"Corrus juice. I'm thirsty for the cold" cried Alisa.
"No need! Just enough water to clear your dirty mind," said Farida annoyed. "Not shameless!" grunts while walking into the house. He recalled how the Emperor attacked him the last time they met in the office.
Alisa sat on one of the chairs in the living room. The Emperor chose to look at some of the photos on the wall. There are no pictures of children there.
The Emperor's focus was on one photograph, in which a baby and four men surrounded him. No, it's not four. The emperor looked carefully. Isn't that Farida with a short haircut?
"Ehem." Farida cleared her throat to distract the Emperor.
"That's you?" ask Emperor. Farida placed the drink on the table along with two jars of food filled with cake.
"You look more like a man" added the Emperor, who was under the sharp eye of Farida.
"Eat the cake, dear," Farida said gently to Alisa.
"The cake is funny." Alisa takes one ducky-shaped cake. "It's from chocolate?"
"You're right, the white brown that was molded and colored. Lana really likes to decorate cakes if I'm making them."
"Yes, Lana likes to draw and color," added Alisa. He then bit the chocolate cake.
"How's it?"
"It feels soft, it's delicious. I would make bread like this sometime. Definitely fun. My mother never taught me to make cakes" Alisa said.
The Emperor chose to sit in a single chair next to Farida, raising his glass. "You really gave me water? To your own boss?"
Farida held a smile and looked unconcerned.
"It's worth it to you! Besides you're not my boss anymore because I'm going to resign" he replied.
The emperor breathed. "White water is also okay, as long as I can be accepted by you."
Farida widened her eyes in annoyance. This made the Emperor happy.
"This is the cake you made yourself? You're smart too, fit to be a wife" continued the Emperor.
"How's your mom doing, Alisa?"
"Mother, fine, it's just that mom still likes to fight with Dad," said Alisa innocently.
The Emperor seemed to be relaxed in response.
"Maybe it's because your father was naughty!"
"Dad," Alisa glanced towards the Emperor. "That's fine, it's just that Mom and Dad don't fit in, like Tom and Jerry, fighting all the time."
"You fought in front of your son? It's so uneducational and bad!" farida.
"Alisa you can't tell anyone about the state of our home, let alone a stranger."
"A stranger, he's that ...." Farida stopped her words.
"He what? Try continue? Alisa said you know Cantika? Are you his best friend or what? What are you trying to plan?" the Emperor whispered towards Farida.
Farida pushed the Emperor's body away from her.
"She's a little kid so you can tell anyone about her feelings so she's not pressured by living with the wrong person."
"You're very good at tongue-licking."
"To be close to a crafty person like you should use reason if you don't want to be deceived."
"Oh, sneaky? Who is cunning, pretending not to know when our relationship is more than that? You used my amnesia to get close to me again? What exactly do you want?" the Emperor did not want to lose.
Alisa who was there looked confused by the actions of two adults in front of her.
"Dad, always fighting. No, Mom, no Auntie Pretty!" yelling Alisa upset.
Farida smiled and hugged Alisa and kissed her head. "Your father is like that. Now you know why I didn't want to bring her into the house. We are both women, understand this problem," he said trying to say mature to Alisa.
"When you visit, you must be polite!" continued Alisa who got a triumphant smile from Farida.
The Emperor pulled his hair back with his fingers.
