Chapter 25. 6 years of punishment?

Xander did not believe this, he was so cruelly lied to by Zeevana. The woman gave him hope then dropped him to the bottom. He made Xander fall until he was hard to reach the light. Xander's heart is broken, devastated to learn the fact that Zeevana lied to him and left him. But he left their divorce papers to Javier.

Javier didn't want to tell Xander the truth, but he still had a heart for his adopted brother. Javier has tried to advise Zeevana not to be selfish and to think about the baby in her womb. Trying to think ahead about the boy who would grow up without his father.

"Daddy understands you're hurt and disappointed by what Xander did, but running away isn't the solution." Javier attempts to change Zeevana's mind to go missing from Xander's life.

"Dad, I'm not running away.I just want to split up and this is also for the good of both of us. This is the best, dad, since the beginning it should not be me and uncle married. We married without love and only I alone fought for her, I tired dad. I'm tired." explained Zeevana before she left for Australia.

"Hubby, what Zee said is true. They marry without love and it will be difficult for them to nurture those feelings. A man who has cheated will be hard to believe his words. I agree with our daughter's decision to split up."

"Savana don't be selfish! Your granddaughter needs both parents, a complete family!" sergeant Javier disagrees with the thoughts of his two favorite women.

"You're saying I'm selfish? Hubby, I just want our daughter to be happy. I gave Xander a chance, but what did he do? He let our son down.he made our daughter wait and fight alone. While she herself is having fun out there with other women! I as her mother, hurt!"

"I also hurt Savana, but-this is not the solution."

Zeevana was dizzy because her parents even argued about her household. He shouted and asked his parents to be quiet and he would make a decision.

"MOM! DADDY! I'll make the decision! I decided to separate from Uncle and take care of this child myself! So, stophh it!! Don't argue anymore!"

"Well, did you hear what your daughter said? He has already made up his mind, so don't try to defend your sister! It's her fault!" savana exclaimed to her husband.

Javier approached Zeevana who was crying. Javier tried to put himself in a neutral position, fine-Xander is wrong but not everyone deserves a chance. "Dad, I can't. I want to split up, so please-don't force me." said Zeevana softly and her decision was unanimous.

Returning to the present, Xander smiled looking at the divorce papers that had been signed by Zeevana. Everything signified that the woman's decision to part, was already very mature.

"Xander, if you are a match and your relationship is not just an ONS. Surely you'll get back together, I believe." Javier said trying to comfort Xander.

'Because there are children among you, surely you can get back together'

Xander fell silent without a word, only tears drenched his face. After that Xander searches for Zeevana to the girl's apartment, to the campus and places she might visit. But the girl was lost to the earth. In the middle of the night he returned to his apartment, carrying a divorce letter signed by Zeevana. Look at the letter sharply. "I won't let you go, I won't. To the ends of the world, I will find you and I will take you back to PUNISH YOU." murmured Xander as he gulped down a bottle of booze that was on the table. Xander's appearance looked contemptuous, the handsome doctor looked chaotic.

At all costs, he has done to find Zeevana until his job as a doctor becomes neglected because of the time it takes to find Zeevana. But he never found his whereabouts, yes obviously it's because all the family hid his whereabouts. Xander was no longer the chief doctor, he quit the practice and decided to become a businessman. Luckily he has a bachelor's license majoring in economics as well, so he can grow his business even though he has stopped being a doctor.

Years changed, it's been the 6th year since Zeevana disappeared without news. Medsos, cell phone numbers, everything about the girl's gone. Asking, pleading, Xander has done to his family to let them know about Zeevana. However, the result is nil they remain silent. But there was at one time, Xander saw the diary book Zeevana. Where the girl always tells about her daily life, how the pain is waiting. How lonely and upset that Xander always reneged on his promise. But is this punishment enough? 6 Years is not enough?

Xander's days are starting to change, not the same anymore. He lived his day flat, even he was cold and tried not to care about others anymore. Almost every night, Xander was accompanied by liquor and took sleeping pills so that his eyes could be closed. Already 3 times he overdosed because of sleeping pills that he always took. It's all because Zeevana's shadow always haunts her. Where the girl was always waiting for him to come home, welcoming his arrival with great affection.

"It's worse than death. Every time I close my eyes, I think of your crying face, your disappointed face and how angry you are at me. Zeevana, where are you?" the man muttered in frustration. Then he swallowed a sleeping pill and then his eyes could be closed.

In a 1-story house with a large yard, there is where the beautiful Zeevana lived all this time. Away from the crowd and suitable to calm himself.

"Mom, is mommy going to the office again today?" ask a handsome, brown-haired boy to a beautiful woman with such long hair.

"Yes, baby, I'm sorry mommy. But today mommy promised to come home soon." said the woman to her son. She is Zeevana, the woman who has been making Xander crazy.
