Chapter 38. Sleeping drug stuff

Zeevana was still silent near the door of her room not far from the living room. He was still listening to the conversation between Xander and his personal secretary. Luckily the night was quiet so Zeevana could hear the conversation between the two men.

"Sir.. should you stop taking these drugs, if you over dose again-how?" fredy asked worriedly considering Xander had overdosed 3 times because he consumed a lot of sleeping pills.

The woman who was eavesdropping was surprised to hear it. He tried to put his ears well, it seems he did not hear wrong. Zeevana believes Fredy is talking about an overdose.

"Relax Fredy, despite several overdoses..Am not I still alive today? I have to live, because I have to get my wife and child back" Xander said, smiling casually, thinking the overdose was not a bad thing.

"Sir, please don't think your health is a joke. My advice would be better if you sleep near Madam Zeevana, than if you had to take sleeping pills every time you wanted to sleep." Fredy explained to Xander.

After Fredy left from there, Xander walked back towards the living room sofa while carrying the white tablet medicine bottle. The amount is quite a lot, like vitamins but in fact it is not.

Xander took the drinking water that was on the table in front of him, he opened the medicine bottle and took out one tablet. When Xander was about to take the medicine, Zeevana came and immediately took the bottle of medicine that was also the medicine in Xander's hands.

"Zee's? You haven't slept?" Xander was surprised that Zeevana was there.

Zeevana did not speak, she stared fixedly at the medicine in the bottle. Then he put it back in the bottle, a tablet of medicine that was to be taken by Xander.

"What medicine is this?" ask Zeevana sharp.

"It's not a cure, but a vitamin." Xander lied quickly, he took a bottle containing the medicine grain from Zeevana.

"You're still lying, just like you used to. So--how can I trust you again?" Zeevana stared intently at the man, he was in a standing position while Xander sat down. Xander looked up at his wife.

"I'm not lying!" shangkal Xander's.

Seen the look on Zeevana's disappointed face, the man again lied to her. Just like before, when the man claimed to go to work when he met Tessa.

"You're the same as you used to be, he said you'd change. That's what you said this morning at the hospital. But what the fuck is with this attitude of yours? You're still the same, you're still a liar. You used to lie to me with little things, for example when you said you went overtime, you worked in the hospital and left me alone. But when you met your lover. And now you're lying too?" zeevana's tears rolled down her cheeks. Xander immediately moved from his seat, staring at Zeevana with guilt for being reminded of the sins of the past.

"How can I trust you if a little thing like this is a lie? I hesitated to give you a chance." Zeevana, the girl stepped away sadly. Of course Xander would not let Zeevana go crying and disappointed in her like this. Xander held the woman's hand.

"You. You're gonna give me a chance? Is true?" ask Xander with sparkling eyes. He focused on the word give the opportunity thrown by the beautiful.

"It's not because of your current attitude" Zeevana replied without turning to Xander.

"If I'm honest about this drug. Are you going to undo your intention to cancel giving me a chance?" xander asked again, with the hand still holding Zeevana.

"Either" said Zeevana cuek.

Zeevana turned towards Xander. "You're not lying?" actually the girl just wanted to test Xander's honesty. He knew that the man was telling the truth.

"No, you can ask Fredy if you don't believe me. I'm telling the truth."

"Hem.ya already." said Zeevana while holding back her tears that would come back out.

"Don't go yet! Please tell me that you're gonna give me a chance, right?" xavier asked enthusiastically, her lips implied her thin smile.

"depends."

"So you said you'd give me a chance if I told you the truth."

"Where it is, I never talk that way!" sangkal Zeevanna.

"But you talk like that! You promised."

"Is there any proof that I promise?" ask Zeevana who made Xander smile. Yes, at least Xander already knows that there is still a chance here, he knows that all this time Zeevana still loves him. It's just that love is eroded by hate and disappointment.

As God turns the hearts of men upside down, Xander is convinced that the hearts of Zeevana and Aiden will change over time.

"Alright, I'll assume you're giving me a chance. Then return my medicine, I must sleep." asked Xander with relief.

"You can't take this medicine,"

"But I have to sleep."

"Not by eating this drug" said Zeevana cared. He won't give Xander the cure.

They get into a little argument about sleeping pills, even Zeevana explains that Xander is a doctor and he should know the dangers of sleeping pills. While the drug has been consumed for 4 years with 3 overdoses.

Xander persuades Zeevana to accompany him in a chat so he can fall asleep. Zeevana responded, they chatted and Zeevana sat not far from her. They were just chatting, more precisely Xander who spoke sorry and sorry continued for his mistakes in the past and on a hot night at the Dacosta hotel. Zeevana doesn't talk much and just listens.

Xander fell asleep without sleeping pills after Zeevana clasped his hand. "What's been going on with you all this time? Why do you have to take sleeping pills? I thought you were happy when we parted, but after seeing you like this.I don't think so." said Zeevana softly, she took her hand off Xander slowly. The girl put a warm blanket on the man's body, then she stepped away from there.

Without them noticing, Savana and Javier see it secretly. Javier tells Savana that they still have the bond of fate.

In a room in a luxurious house, a man was seen rampaging and throwing things in the room. His wife was crying and tried to stop him.
