Kao Jing was still confused, her memory had not fully returned. He still thought he was in prison, as he remembered before sticking a fork into his stomach. His face shriveled as if he still felt the pain of his recklessness.
"Am I dead?" Kao Jing asked in confusion.
Grace's smile changed instantly, her lips no longer pulling a single smile but conical full of worry.
"Dad.. calm down dad, it's okay, dad's safe." Entertain Grace.
Kao Jing still gaped in disbelief, he wanted to get out of bed but failed because his body was still not so powerful. Grace swiftly supported her father's arm, leading him back to lie down.
"No. I just want to die. I don't deserve to live anymore, Chen Kho must have been waiting for me there. Kasian. I don't want her to be lonely." Kao Jing fluttered, looking nervous and pessimistic.
