PTI CHAPTER 114 - Arab Neighbors
When the weekend arrives, as planned Ara and Zester go to see their new home. The house was located in one of the elite housing.
Ara had never seen the construction of the house so she was quite surprised by the results.
"It's better than the catalog" commented Ara.
"I added a tropical feel to the European style, let's go in!" bring Zester. The man took his wife to tour their new home.
Although not as big as the family mansion, the house was quite spacious and there was a section left behind the house.
"The plan will be to have a garden and a pond here, Yank," Zester explained.
Ara's focus was precisely on a bridge behind their house.
"What bridge is that?" ask Ara.
"Ah, that's the bridge connected to the house next door. I'll ask the handyman to destroy the bridge when it's done" Zester replied visibly annoyed.
"Can we connect to the house next door?" Ara was still confused.
"The one who owns the house next door is a former friend of mine and he deliberately bought the house next door and built a bridge" Zester said. He gets more emotional when he remembers.
"Former friends?" Ara was curious. "Why did you guys fight?"
"The story is long" Zester refused to tell.
And the former friend that Zester talked about was already occupying the house early, the man saw Zester come and cross using his artificial bridge.
"Well, look who's coming?" reproofing. The man of Arab descent looked towards Ara. "Mrs Schweinsteiger, right?"
"Hallo," said Ara. She nudged her husband because Zester had her eyes glaring sharply.
"You have an Arab friend, Zee?"
"He's not my friend," Zester still firmly doesn't admit it.
"Come, Zee! It's just the past" said the Arab.
"Include me to your wife!"
Instead of introducing, Zester prefers to take Ara away.
"We just sell the house, Yank," said Zester who did not want to live in his new home.
Ara sighed and did not want to comment, she knew that Zester could buy another house but she did not like that her husband acted as he pleased.
The atmosphere of a quiet apartment is more quiet.
"Yank.." call Zester while hugging his wife while Ara cooks.
"You angry?"
Zester felt bad and tried to melt the mood.
"Aren't you angry, yes," replied Ara.
"I was just getting carried away. His name is Zein, he was my friend in Junior High, we were always together but when my daddy died he chose to go with his new friend" Zester explained. Finally he told her not to misunderstand.
"Why not tell me from earlier? And have you figured out the cause? I saw that he wanted to make up his mind until he bought a house and made a bridge next to our house" Ara responded.
Zester did not speak anymore in confusion.
"I love the house, Zee!"
"really?"
"Yes, from the beginning we both make the design, baby if sold,"
