PTI CHAPTER 56 - Getting Wrapped
Zester did not understand Theo's words so he expressed his intention to come to Ara's apartment.
"I want to take Ara out to dinner" Zester said, asking for permission.
"Ara can't leave so you better go home" Theo said grimly.
"But we made an appointment yesterday" Zester insisted.
"Ara, I've come!"
Zester just tightened his voice so that Ara to be a notice to him.
"Something seems to be looking for you" Megan responded.
"When he will let me calm down for a day," Ara grumbled as she walked towards the door.
"Dad, better take a shower let me handle that local bule!"
"He must be the pocong that Agam saw," Theo was still upset because of the pocong that made Agam so high fever.
"Geez, why does my father-in-law equate me with a subtle-creature?" Zester felt his good looks fade.
"I mean my father, you must be followed by a pocong" explained Ara.
"Where's the pocong?" Zester gets goosebumps and reflexes hug Ara which makes Theo more inflamed.
It could be that her daughter was hugged carelessly like that.
"Ehem!" Theo cleared his throat loudly and tried to remove Zester's embrace from his daughter's body.
"I'm raising and keeping my daughter from being hugged by strangers like this!"
"But we are a couple, father-in-law," said Zester, who felt Ara belonged to him. "I even gave him a sign!"
Hearing that, Ara hurriedly covered Zester's mouth with her hands.
"Are you crazy?" Ara protest.
Theo looked towards the two people one by one, then convened them in the living room to explain everything.
"Ara, are you really in a relationship with that bule? At that time, I told him that I didn't like him" Theo told his daughter.
"It's not so, Dad. We became close because there was something we had to take care of" Ara said.
"Whatis that? Try saying!" Theo demands a definitive answer.
"So here's the..." Zester finally told me about their relationship. "Thirteen years ago I drowned and Ara helped me but there was a woman who claimed to be a helper, almost I was going to marry the wrong person!"
"It turns out Ara was my soul mate because I had made a promise to marry her!"
Theo's pupils grew bigger hearing silly things. His daughter will be married because of such a promise.
"Ara has the right to determine her own soul mate so do not want to marry her just because it is based on promises," Theo gave a strong warning.
Megan joined in and tried to make the atmosphere less tense.
"Dad, don't get emotional later your blood pressure rises better we all eat first and then hunt the food cold" said Megan while stroking her husband's chest.
"You see them, baby, I don't like my daughter to end up miserable like that" retorted Theo who still didn't accept.
"I will definitely make Ara happy, I promise," Zester said earnestly.
"Aren't you thinking about your future?" ask Theo.
"Of course, I have even calculated the ideal age when becoming a daddy," replied Zester.
"Geez, my granddaughter will have a name wrapped around her tongue, I don't want to be like a stroke person when I call my granddaughter's name," Theo still balked at having her son-in-law.
Ara again patted her eel because the situation was getting complicated because Zester was drunk with love while Pak Kades did not want to have a daughter-in-law bule wrapped around the tongue.
Especially if Mr. Kades knows what Zester has been doing all this time, surely Theo will be increasingly opposed to their relationship.
"Are we backstreet?" whispered Zester gave a suggestion.
