Prologues

Yuika Jasmine is a girl from a broken home family. He had parents who eventually chose to divorce, his parents separated since he was 12.

Yuika has a younger sister named Fuji Jasmine who is only 6 years old. They live in Tokyo with their father, Yoshimura Jasmine. They chose to be taken care of by their father because their mother had remarried to a widower rich businessman.

Their father was a great painter who was quite famous in that city. During his separation from his mistress Elena, Yoshimura chose to remain unmarried in order to care for and raise his two daughters. She loved her two daughters with all her heart and soul.

So that all this time he always worked hard to keep trying to make his two children happy.

The season has passed and time has made little Yuika grow up to be a very beautiful teenager.

Now that Yuika is 16 years old, which means that soon she will face the final exam of school, she hopes to pass and get a satisfactory score later.

On a clear morning the sun shines so warm. In a school building, the sound of a bell rang, it appeared that all students in class 9 C lined up following the direction of their homeroom teacher, looking a slightly nervous Yuika standing between the rows while holding a small pink bag, she then entered the exam class.

The exam class in the morning was very good and solemn. The whole student seemed so serious and focused on completing every exam problem given.

After the test, Yuika goes home soon. In a hurry, he pedaled his bicycle to SD 2 Tokyo, where his sister Fuji attended school. Yuika had to take her sister to school because their father was attending an invitation to a painting gallery outside the city for one week.

During this week Yuika has been working hard to take care of the housework and her little sister. Yuika has a dream of becoming a famous painter like her father, since she was 10 years old Yuika has participated in many national championship painting competitions in Tokyo, many medals and awards that she has won.

After graduating Yuika hopes to enroll in Tokyo's Negri 1 High School and continue to study at Tokyo Art University, she hopes to achieve her dream of following in her father's footsteps.

The school exam is now over and the results of the exam will come out in October, which means Yuika will spend 3 months at home while waiting for the results of the exam. Actually he and Fuji are eager to meet his mother during the holidays, but he also could not bear to leave his father alone.

So Yuika chooses to stay at home spending three months of her vacation.

That afternoon Yuika had just finished homework, suddenly from the outside there was a clash that was so hard hit the wall of the house, Yuika immediately ran out of the house and found her sister fell down with her bicycle, hers, apparently Fuji Yuika's sister was learning to ride Yuika's bike.

"Oh my goodness Fuji, what are you doing..? Why are you riding a bike without your permission..!" Yuika said to Fuji.

But Fuji did not answer her brother's question, he was just moaning in pain.

Seen by the feet of Yuika's sister bleeding, Yuika immediately embraces her beloved sister into the house and immediately treats her wound.

Then Yuika approached her father and asked.

"Dad, what happened..? What's wrong with dad..? Why are you sad..? I've never seen you grieve like this before, tell me dad..! What really happened to Dad..?"

Master Yoshimura cut a deep breath while looking at his two little princesses. He then hugged the two daughters he loved so much.

"He cheated dad..! Dad was wrong to believe so much. Now that I have nothing left, dear, Mr. Takeda has gone somewhere." Said master Yoshimura while continuing to hug his two daughters.

"What do you mean dad..? Really Yuika doesn't understand..? Mr. Takeda, who is he..?" Yuika was confused.

"He's a dad's best friend, he's auctioned off all the paintings he's done and ran off somewhere. Even the only gallery of paintings that I have had been sold without a paternity and now I have to pay the installment bill to the Bank dear..!" Said mister Yoshimura while rubbing his face.

The eyes of Mr. Yoshimura were glazed over, not knowing what to do. He hugged his two daughters tightly while shedding tears.

Fuji, who was a child at that time, did not really understand what had happened to his family, so he just fell silent and hugged his father tightly.

"We have to leave this house, next month we will move and find a new place to live. I'll sell this land and house to pay off the bill to the bank. I hope you two don't mind..!" Mr. Yoshimura then took off his embrace and looked at the faces of his two daughters.

"But what about our school..? Does that mean we're going to stop going to school too..? I even just took an exam at school..!" Said Yuika who was feeling sad.

"No, baby, you're gonna stay in school. But after you graduate, maybe I won't be able to enroll you to the favorite High School as you want, sorry dear father. But I promise I'll work hard to make you both happy. So please be patient." Said master Yoshimura while holding the faces of his two daughters.

A few months later, Yoshimura and his two daughters live in Otaru. A port town near Sapporo with beautiful canals and historic buildings like old warehouses. Also known as the winter festival. Otaru City is a city that is not so big, but it is very beautiful. Many people from outside the city and even tourists from various countries come to visit the city to watch the winter festival held there.

The Jasmine family had bought a modest house in the city, albeit with a little difficulty but the little family was still grateful.

They bought a house not far from the train station.

Yuika attended Otaru 1st High School and her sister Fuji attended Otaru Elementary School. Yuika's desire to continue school at Tokyo's favorite High School must now be pent up, maybe even Yuika will lose her dream of continuing to school at Tokyo Art University.
