A Broken Heart

The atmosphere inside the 10 B classroom that morning. All students seemed to focus on paying attention to the lessons taught by Mr. Watanabe.

"Let's open your printed book on page 156..! Finish the task that is there. You will be out for a while, within 1 hour later, collect your duties when you return later..! You guys got it..?" Said Mr. Watanabe.

"Yes sir..!" Sahut the students simultaneously.

Then Mr. Watanabe walked out of the 10 B classroom towards the teacher's room.

Yuika and Hana are seriously working on some questions in their print book.

"I'm so hungry..! Let's go to the cafeteria..?" Miki said to Hana while holding her stomach.

"It's still lesson time, be patient for some more time until the break time comes. I'm really surprised what your stomach is made of..?" Hana Saying.

"I can't be patient, I'm waiting to be so hungry, this morning I woke up late and rushed to school so I forgot breakfast." Miki complained to Hana.

"Bas with you..!" Hana Saying.

He ignores Miki's invitation and continues to complete the task given by Watanabe's teacher.

"All right, let me go alone..!" Miki said as she stood up from her seat.

"What about your job..?" Ask Hana.

"I won't be long, I'll be right back." Miki said as she walked out of the classroom.

"Where is he going..?" Yuika asked Hana when she saw Miki walking away leaving the classroom.

"Yes you know for yourself, where else does the child go when hungry..!" Answer Hana.

"Oh..!" Said Yuika while nodding her head.

Meanwhile unnoticed by Yuika, Minato was watching her from her seat.

A few minutes' delay. Miki came with some bread and a can of milk.

An hour had passed, teacher Watanabe returned to the classroom and requested that all students deposit their assignments.

"Alright kids, collect your duties now." Said Mr. Watanabe.

Yuika, Hana and Miki as well as the rest of the students brought and gave their duties to the Watanabe master.

"Has all the disciples deposited their duties..? Mr. Watanabe asked to make sure that none of his student's duties were missed.

"Yes sir..!" Speak to the students.

While carrying the assignment books from his students, the Watanabe teacher went out of the classroom.

During the break, Miki and Yuika go to the cafeteria behind the school.

Meanwhile, Hana stays in the classroom. Hana accidentally does not come with Miki and Yuika to the cafeteria because she wants to see Minato.

Hana looked at Minato who was sitting daydreaming while looking at the atmosphere outside the classroom from behind the window glass.

"Hey, what are you thinking..?" Hana said hello while smiling sweetly at Minato

"Eh, you're Hana..! It's nothing, I'm just looking at the sakura tree that's there." Minato was again surprised by Hana's sudden arrival.

"Really..!" Hana then sat beside Minato while watching the cherry trees growing in the school grounds.

"Did you know..? The cherry trees that grow in our schoolyard are said to be haunted..!" Hana Saying.

"REally..?" Minato Sahut.

"Yes that's right, I'm not making this up. The security guard who guarded the school building had seen several times the figure of a woman standing under the tree. Hana Saying.

"The creepy rumors about the tree have been rife all the way outside the school. He said there was a student who committed suicide in the cherry tree. The student ended her life by hanging because she was caught pregnant out of wedlock and the lover who impregnated her had fled. The girl felt very sad and ended up killing herself." Yuika said back to tell the scary events that happened to the tree.

"Well, look carefully, doesn't the cherry tree look creepy..!" Whisper Hana while her face is brought close to Minato's ears.

Yuika who had just returned from the school cafeteria, saw Hana who was sitting with Minato. She feels that Hana and Minato's relationship is getting closer.

The girl stood at the door of the classroom while continuously watching the two of them.

"Hey, what's up..?" From behind Miki patted Yuika on the shoulder so the girl was surprised. Yuika then went towards her seat.

"What is the child thinking..! Is she feeling jealous..?" Miki said in her heart while looking at Minato and Hana.

"Summer is coming soon, you still remind me of Mr. Inuiki's promise..? Miki asked Yuika while walking up to her.

"Hmm..!" Yuika's sahut is short.

"We're going to the hill next month, I told my father about this. How's it going..?" Ask Miki.

Yuika did not immediately answer the question from Miki, the girl continued to look at Hana and Minato who were sitting together.

"Hey, hey Yuika..!" Miki called out to Yuika while raising her voice.

"Eh, what did you say earlier..? I'm sorry I didn't hear that much..!" Yuika.

"Oh that, I still haven't told my father." Yuika.

"Oh so it is..!" Miki Seru.

"But I'll tell him right away, I hope he will give me permission..!" Yuika.

After a few hours, a long bell rang, which meant that all the lessons were over. All the students left the classroom towards the gate.

Yuika seemed to walk so hurriedly leaving the school gate.

From behind Minato ran up to him.

"Hey Yuika..!" Shouted Minato calling Yuika.

But Yuika did not stop her scarcity and continued walking, the girl pretended not to hear Minato's call to her.

It seems that today Yuika does not want to go home with Minato, she tries to avoid him.

It was Minato who continued to chase, and finally found it.

The two of them then walked together.

"Hey..!" Sapa Minato to Yuika.

"Hm." Answer Yuika briefly.

"What's wrong with you, really..? From yesterday you ignored me..!" Minato.

"I'm not ignoring you." Answer Yuika.

"If that is so, then why did you not stop when I pangil..? Minato.

"I don't think I've heard your calling so much." Yuika.

"Don't try to lie to me, I know you're in trouble. You're trying to get away from me, aren't you..?" Minato asked while standing before Yuika, so that Yuika could not continue her scarcity as it was blocked by Minato.

"I beg you to step aside..! Let me through." Yuika.

"No, I will not leave before you before you tell me what really happened to you. Why are you trying to avoid me..?" Minato.

"I'm not avoiding you and I don't have any problems either." Answer Yuika.

"I beg you to step aside..! Yuika said back.

"No, that's not the real answer, you're hiding something from me. Please Yuika tell me..! Don't confuse me with your attitude that suddenly changes like this..!" Minato exclaimed as he continued to stand before Yuika.

Yuika's face suddenly changed, she fell silent as she lowered her head.

"I, that, you better not come near me anymore." Yuika said with a sad feeling.

"What do you mean..?" Minato asked who was getting more astonished.

Suddenly Ken who was riding a motorcycle came to them both.

"Hey, Yuika..!" Sapa Ken to Yuika while getting off the bike.

Yuika glanced at Ken who was heading towards her.

"What are you doing here..?" Ask Ken.

"Nothing, I just want to go home." Yuika.

"Really..! Then come with me, I'll take you home." Ken offered himself.

"Yuika will come home with me." Minato said while pulling Yuika's hand.

"Sorry, I can't go home with you..!" Yuika released her hand from Minato's grasp.

"I'm going home with Ken." Said Yuika while continuing to bow her gaze. The girl did not want to show the sadness that was reflected in both her eyeballs.

"Come home with me..!" Pinta Minato while once again pulling Yuika's hand.

"No, I'm sorry, I can't go home with you. Go home by yourself The train will be leaving soon. I'm going home with Ken." Yuika.

"You listen..! Yuika wants to come home with me." Ken said with a smile glancing sharply at Minato.

"Come on Yuika, we're leaving now..!" Said Ken while releasing Yuika's hand from Minato's hand.

Yuika then comes home with Ken on Ken's motorcycle.

Meanwhile Minato remained standing by the side of the road while looking at Yuika who passed away with Ken leaving him alone.

His heart felt a great pain, like being pierced by thousands of thorns. He did not expect that Yuika would completely ignore him.

Then Minato walked alone towards the direction of the Railway Station with a chaotic feeling. The look on his face became very moody, the man felt very sad.
